Indiana School kommer att vara din bas för familjens kul. Skolhuset ligger 2 kvarter från Kids Corner park, 3 kvarter från de blå trapporna tillgång till South Beach och 7 kvarter från centrum restauranger och shopping. The Lower School har 4 sovrum med teman och 3 badrum och sover 14 bekvämt. Det massiva stora rummet ger gott om utrymme för familjer att sprida, spela pool eller titta på TV. Detention rummet erbjuder ett separat utrymme för barnen att titta på TV och spela brädspel. Den stora trädgården ger din familj mer tid att leka i solen. En propangrill och en eldstad med sittplatser är tillgänglig för din användning. Det finns gott om parkering på fastigheten.

För stora familjer kan denna enhet kombineras med Upper School för ytterligare 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, TV-rum och ett annat stort stort rum med fotbollsbord. Hyr hela huset i en vecka som din familj aldrig kommer att glömma. Se VRBO # 858708.

Indiana School byggdes 1898 och fungerade som en grundskola fram till 2005. Skolhuset genomgick en omfattande ombyggnad 2006. Uppdateringar, målning och alla nya möbler gjordes 2016. Många av de ursprungliga ytorna har bevarats inklusive krittavlor, akterspeglar, träpaneler och lärarskåp. Indiana School har utsetts till en historisk plats av staten Michigan. Skolhuset är verkligen ett unikt hem.

Family memories

Always enjoy coming here for a family together time for Thanksgiving. This place is large enough for our entire family to be together but also enough areas for privacy or to rest and relax.

Girls trip

It was an awesome weekend. We Have stayed here three times. Always enough room for everyone. Nice and clean and well stocked. Easy walk to the lake/pier and downtown is a cute little town. Movie theater is a great deal with newer movies as well.

Love the School House

This was our third stay at the School House and it was just as great as our first. Such a fun and unique place. Great location, always very clean, and room for everyone to have their own space (we had 8 adults and 9 kids and reserved both units).

Perfect large family spot

We stayed in the upper level of the schoolhouse two years ago so we knew the property would be clean and perfectly-located. The lower unit was great for this trip’s stay as my parents were traveling with us. We had such a great time!

Fantastic getaway with friends!

This is our third stay at the Indiana Schoolhouse and we are ready to book again for next year. It's the perfect place for 6 college friends and 5 teens to cook meals, play games and take in sunsets.

Neat property walking distance to the lake

Really cool renovated school house, tons of room for the whole family and then some. Very clean, functional kitchen with all the cooking utensils we needed. We definitely plan to come back another year!

Family reunion / 4th of July

By far the best rental available in South Haven/South Beach, with the flexibility to easily handle a variety of family sizes and proximity to the beach, downtown, kids park, etc. Great owners that had the home fully stocked and with bonus amenities, easy check in/check out process, and phenomenal communication throughout. Truly the crown jewel of a memorable vacation!!

Perfect Place for Extended Family Trip!

The Schoolhouse is the absolute perfect rental in South Haven for larger groups and children! Walking distance to town, Kids' Corner Park and the beach. We have stayed multiple times in the lower unit and rented both units this trip to accommodate our extended family. The kids enjoyed having multiple spaces to play and escape to across both units. The Schoolhouse is our favorite place to stay in South Haven and we look forward to our trips all year long.

Wonderful stay

This is a unique and impressive property. We stayed in the lower apartment and just marveled at the high ceilings, big windows, and beautiful furnishings. The space was spotless and well equipped with all that we needed. The beds were fresh and very comfortable. The location is also perfect…a few blocks from the beach in one direction and a few blocks to downtown shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere and had a fantastic stay!

Great Space & Location

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is so cute and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was only about a 10 minute walk into town/beach. Each person in our group talked about returning again with their families! 10/10 recommend.

Another great stay in South Haven.

This property never disappoints. The location is perfect and it's always clean and ready for fun. Spacious, and easy to feed and entertain 3-4 families. The outdoor space has plenty of seating for outdoor dining and we love having a bonfire here too.

We love this place

We have stayed here since 2017; initially it was for long weekends in the fall, and then we added a week in the summer (except during the pandemic). The space is beautiful, and offers space for the kids and the adults. We have walkable access to the beaches and downtown. We love this place!

Absolutely Perfect!

Spacious, comfortable, clean, wonderful location (within walking distance of downtown and beach and a short drive from other communities of interest)... perfect for many ages and interests. SO FUN, with history in the mix! We would gladly stay here again!
