Indiana School kommer att vara din hembas för familjen kul. Skolhuset ligger 2 kvarter från Kids Corner park, 3 kvarter från den blå trappan till South Beach, och 7 kvarter från restauranger och shopping i centrala. Övre skolan har 3 teman sovrum och 2 badrum, och sover 10 bekvämt. Det massiva stora rummet ger gott om plats för familjer att sprida ut och spela fotboll. Media Center har plats för att titta på TV och spela spel. Den stora gården ger din familj mer tid att leka i solen. En propangrill och brandgrop med sittplatser är tillgängliga för din användning. Det finns gott om parkering på fastigheten.

För stora familjer kan denna enhet kombineras med Lower School för ytterligare 4 sovrum, 3 badrum, TV-rum och ett annat stort stort rum med biljardbord. Hyr hela huset för en vecka din familj kommer aldrig att glömma. Se VRBO # 858557.

Inbyggd 1898, Indiana School fungerade som grundskola fram till 2005. Skolhuset genomgick omfattande ombyggnad under 2006. Uppdateringar, målning och alla nya möbler gjordes 2016. Många av de ursprungliga ytorna har blivit bevarade, inklusive kritstavar, spindeldörrar, träpaneler och lärarens garderober. Indiana School har utsetts som en historisk plats av staten Michigan. Skolhuset är verkligen ett unikt hem.

Love the School House

This was our third stay at the School House and it was just as great as our first. Such a fun and unique place. Great location, always very clean, and room for everyone to have their own space (we had 8 adults and 9 kids and reserved both units).

Another Great Stay

Friends and I love staying at the Indiana School and this new stay was terrific. The “School” is always spotless, has well stocked kitchen, comfy chairs & coach, games, off street parking, garage space, etc. Plenty of space for us to gather AND space for solo time. It’s so easy to walk to the beach and quick drive to area orchards and other venues. Access information was clear and check-out tasks were few and easy.

Family reunion / 4th of July

By far the best rental available in South Haven/South Beach, with the flexibility to easily handle a variety of family sizes. Great owners that had the home fully stocked and with bonus amenities, easy check in/check out process, and phenomenal communication throughout. Truly the crown jewel of a memorable vacation!!

Quick Weekend

This property is beautiful and great for families! We had a great time shopping and coming back to relax and play games. Plenty of space. Easily walkable to South Haven's main drag. Overall great experience.

Another great time in South Haven

We have stayed here consistently each fall. It's a unique and lovely place to stay. It is large and will suit bigger groups, but still feels very cozy. The owners are very pleasant and the town feels like home away from home.

End of summer getaway for our family

Our family had a wonderful stay at this amazing property. The schoolhouse was not only unique, it was furnished and decorated beautifully. Our granddaughter absolutely loved the chalkboards and all the games. We also appreciated the big gathering rooms so we could all hang out together. This property also has very nice amenities - everything you’d need to make your stay feel like home. We would definitely book again when staying in South Haven. Location was perfect to the beach or to downtown. Thanks for wonderful memories!

Family VACAY to South Haven

The accommodations at the Indiana school were perfect. This is our 3rd stay and each trip has been better and better. It was spacious, clean, comfortable with an excellent location. It is within walking distance to the beach and downtown. There is a 2 car garage for our cars and bikes, and a lovely outdoor area with lawn for the kids to play in, a beautiful garden, large outdoor eating area, gas grills and fire pits. I would recommend the Indiana School to everyone and hope we can visit again.

Great Stay in South Haven!

We absolutely loved our week in South Haven and our stay at the school. The unit was clean and so spacious - our kids loved the chalkboards, the foosball table and the bunk beds. Location was fantastic - we loaded up a wagon for the few block walk to the beach, and walked into the cute downtown for dinner and ice cream every night. Bowling on a rainy day and Lake Arvesta water park were fun outings - but we mainly just soaked in the beach and gorgeous sunsets! Owners were helpful with questions ahead of time and so kind and friendly when we happened to meet them on-site. A great week - already planning our return trip!

Fun place to stay with lots of room for everyone!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Indiana School House - lots of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We had a short walk to the blue stairs at Lake Michigan and also a short walk to town. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful space

It’s a wonderful property. It’s spacious, well appointed, and our kids loved the foosball table. The owners were also extremely communicative and answered any of our questions quickly. We’d love to return here.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at the Indiana School. The property was so spacious and had everything we needed. It wasn’t far from the beach, downtown and the playground. We could walk to each of these locations and would stay there again. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs.

South Haven Get away!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the School House property this past Memorial Day weekend! There were plenty rooms for our large group. Everything we needed was provided in the home. Walking distance to shops and Beach! Will definitely visit South Haven again!

South Haven Escape

The Indiana School was everything I imagined it would be as I read the description while looking for VRBO's. It was so close to everything and in such a beautiful neighborhood. It was more than enough room for our family of 5. Enough lounge around space, lots of seating at the dining room table, plenty of games and things to do if it were to be a rainy day. We walked to the lake everyday, we shopped downtown and took a sunset cruise. And enjoyed Lake Arvesta for family fun! Perfect vacation!

Excellent Rental in South Haven for Families

We have stayed in the Schoolhouse several times, but always in the lower unit. This year we had extended family join us and rented both units, which worked out perfectly! The upper unit was just as wonderful as the lower one, and we enjoyed our stay as always. The location is perfect, being able to walk to the beach, the park, and downtown with small children is ideal for our family. The rental is equiped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The Schoolhouse is hands down our favorite rental in South Haven!

South Haven Vacation

Comfortable, clean and nice distance to walk to beach and park. Lots of space for family to hang. Nostalgia of the old school house added to the atmosphere. Would love to stay here again. Just a note, it does involve lots of stairs for this particular unit which was no problem for us.

Pals Weekend

We were so glad to find this unique schoolhouse for our Pals weekend! Nicely decorated bedrooms, beds were super comfy, dining and living room are very large with great space to hangout. And a huge master bedroom with king bed and private bath. well appointed and super clean. Chalkboard in every room, very charming! So close to the beaches and shopping. Definitely recommend it and we will come back!

Awesome weekend and wonderful property

Perfect family spot

We could not be happier with our stay at the school house! It's a perfect place for adults and kids of all ages. The pictures don't properly show how spacious this unit really is. The great room is HUGE, with a well-stocked kitchen for cooking, and games for having family fun, plus chalkboards everywhere. The bedrooms all have very nice darkening shades, and great firm mattresses. Location wise, it's a short walk to Kid's Corner park (which is amazing), and the beach. It's also a close walk downtown. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. The hosts are great, and so is the unit!

South Haven 2024 Vacation

This is a wonderful property. Great space, good location and responsive property managers. It is about a 5 block walk to the South Beach. Very doable. Take note: there are lots of stairs to enter. Good exercise but a little hard for those older. Lots of open space indoors. Outdoors was limited on the property but that was completely ok. The kids and grownups loved the chalkboards throughout the property! Great memories were made here.
