The location of this VRBO was perfect for us. We enjoyed the Fado across the street, and hearing the performance from our balcony.

Third floor apartment

The property was as described and had all that we needed for our stay. The location was wonderful and convenient to many restaurants, shops, the squares, river front and notable sites.

Great location

The location of this place is right in the thick of old town which we loved. The place, pretty much like the whole city, does have a lot of stairs, but we managed. I would say the place could use a little updating.

Great little Alfama location

We had a great couple nights in Lisbon. The suite was well maintained and clean. Given the age of the buildings in Lisbon, rentals can be hit and miss. The whole building has been renovated. We loved the sound of fado floating up to the suite. It is a small apartment, with the main bedroom being part of the kitchen. The size of the suite is typical for alfama.

Great location

The location is great and the place is spacious. Very clean. The only think that is missing are hangers or vanity/furniture in the bathroom. The only place to put the towels or cosmetics is the floor. The beds also have no nightstands. The place requires a deposit which is annoying because vrbo already offers a protection.

decent apartment in Lisbon

This apartment is cute and clean but it is small with little privacy. It is essentially a studio with a loft. The bedroom on the main floor is adjacent to the kitchen with no door that closes in between. It is smaller than the pictures look. Annoyingly, you must send the management company your credit card information prior to getting check in instructions in case a security deposit is needed. I stayed in two other places in Portugal using two other management companies and neither asked for this information. There are also a lot of stairs without an elevator (mentioned in the ad but should be reiterated). There is no way that my healthy 75 year old Mom would have been able to carry a suitcase up the stairs without help. I would probably stay here again if it were just two people, but probably not with 4 people and one small bathroom.

Good area of town

Nice little place to stay. Be cautious if you are elderly or have a lot of luggage as there is not an elevator and their are a couple of flights of stairs to enter. Location was great for walking to see local sites. Restaurant across the alley and under main balcony is open very late with loud singing and outdoor grilling smoke. Charming, but not everyone will like that. We did receive a call on my cell stating that our neighbors complained we were playing music too loud. We were asleep and had never played music. I believe it was the loud, late night singing right below our respective windows, and I really have no idea how they did not look out and see that for themselves. Overall good place to stay though and reasonably priced at the time we were there.
