We just returned from Venice. Our group was two couples. The 2 identical bedrooms were perfect for us. We checked in August 10-13. The check in process was seamless. Irene was very helpful in helping us book the water taxi from the airport and helping us get to the apt via WhatsAp with photos of the street, etc. We also used it to stay in touch for any reason, she is extremely helpful. The unit is on the 4th floor but there is a lift which helps you get your luggage up to the 4th floor. The kitchen facilities are adequate although we didnât use them but we used the fridge, which was nice to have. The Wifi works great! There is a small washer which works well for small loads and a small dryer which was having issues but we hung up clothes on the rack and that was fine! The bathroom is equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer. Make sure to follow all the apartment rules and donât loose the keys - cost is 50. In addition - a big caution to all is to make sure that when you purchase a water bus ticket, you âvalidateâ it on the validator machine. The validator is located near the kiosk where you purchase the ticket. If you donât do it, you will get a 50 fine per ticket that you have to pay on the spot to the ticket enforcer on the bus - seems like a scam but itâs Italyâs rule on all public transportation including the train. So itâs not enough to just have a ticket, you got to validate it. Just throwing this in as an fyi. We learned the hard way. Enjoy Venice, itâs beautiful!
