SÄRSKILD ANMÄRKNING: Effektiv 4/1/19 VRBO började samla in och Ă„terbetala statlig försĂ€ljningsskatt direkt istĂ€llet för att fastighetsĂ€garna gjorde det. TyvĂ€rr programmerade de inte systemet för att redovisa ytterligare lokala försĂ€ljnings- / belĂ€ggningsskatter (som tidigare). VRBO arbetar med detta problem. Under tiden mĂ„ste du betala direkt till mig den 9% Jamaica Beach belĂ€ggningsskatt som jag mĂ„ste överlĂ€mna. Det kan göras via PayPal, Venmo eller med check. Ledsen för besvĂ€ret, och förhoppningsvis kommer VRBO att omprogrammera systemet för att Ă„tgĂ€rda det snart !! FrĂ„n och med 5/9/19 har VRBO inte Ă„tgĂ€rdat problemet.

The property was very clean and beautiful! The view into the Canal was amazing. The location is wonderful for relaxing and not far from the beach. The host was very good at communicating and the fish were jumping everywhere! I would recommend this property to friends and family all day!

Cute, quiet, and perfect location

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The location was perfect — great for the kids to fish right outside, and just a short drive to the beach. With some helpful tips from the friendly neighbor, we caught several different kinds of fish, making the experience even more memorable. The house had everything we needed and was an great fit for our family of four. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had such a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the sheets felt like something out of a luxury hotel—we all slept so well. The kitchen was fully stocked with great amenities, which made cooking and hanging out a breeze. We especially loved using the kayaks, which added such a fun and memorable element to our trip. The cozy decor throughout the home made it feel warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing after a day outside. It was also a short drive to Jamaica Beach. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway & Great Host

Brought my son here for a Spring Break fishing getaway. We had a blast, and the house was perfect. Matt was a great host. The communication was great, but make sure you do your part to read through the information. The house had everything we needed and more.

We were only a few minutes away from the ocean but we enjoyed catching crab in the canals as much as going to the beach. The house was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Little Getaway

Great owner and great property. We loved the quiet community within golf cart riding distance to the beach or fishing right outside your door on the canal. Well stocked kitchen and cozy layout fit our group of 6 perfectly. We definitely plan a return visit soon!

Family Vacation

Great location, close to the beach access and lots of cute local restaurants but also a short drive to Galveston. The house is as described and very well stocked with towels/kitchen supplies. Communication with owner was very prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Great Location

The owner () communicated through the booking process and was always responsive. The home was clean and ready for us on arrival. It has great view of the canal and a short drive to the beach. Everything you need for a short or long vacation i.e. pans, pots, utensils, towels were all clean and accessible. Would stay again on our next visit to Galveston.

Nice Location

The property is as described. Beautiful canal views and close proximity to the beach. I like this area way better than Galveston Proper. The only suggestion I'd make is to get some new bath towels - there were 4 of us staying there and there were 5 stained towels, 1 handtowl and 2 washcloths. Otherwise amenities were as described.

Jamaica Beach 1st Timers

This was our first time staying in Jamaica Beach and on a house on a canal. It was awesome. The house was a good fit for my family of four and was in a quiet area of the neighborhood. The fishing behind the house on the canal was great and the house had everything in it you would need. Also, the house was only a short drive to beach access. We really enjoyed it, would stay there again, and would recommend it for a small family.

Quiet and Relaxing

Perfect location to get away and enjoy sea breezes, and quiet. We’re already planning on a return trip. Kayaks provided for paddling the canals, decent fishing from the bulkhead for this time of year, JB pool is a nice break from canal swims. Renting a golf cart is the way to for getting around the community: restaurants, convenience stores, food truck, community pool, and crossing 3005 to the beach. Matt (host) is readily available and was in communication throughout our visit as needed.

Property photos don't do this place justice

I'm hesitant to write an honest review because I want to keep this place a secret so it's available whenever we need it! The place is larger than the photos make it appear. Kitchen had just about everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and so on. Great view and perfect set up for us. You won't be disappointed. This place is worth every penny and Matthew is a great host!

I bought this property originally as a vacation home. The big water view at the T intersection of two of the larger canals was a big draw. I love the way my mood changes as soon I crest the causeway and descend to the island.
