Fantastic weekend away!

This is a fabulous cottage for a couple looking to explore Manteo and Roanoke Island. The location is perfect for walking around the historic downtown area, as well as for driving into NagsHead!! Everything wa clean and well stocked. Tod answered our questions and had great restaurant recommendations

Quaint Cottage

The cottage was charming, the check-in process a breeze and the location was perfect. We were in walking distance of the Manteo social district. I would highly recommend for a cozy and quiet stay.

Perfect Getaway

Tod’s cottage was perfect for our anniversary getaway. Spotless, comfortable and stocked with everything you need for a relaxing time. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shoppes. Definitely would go back again!

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our second stay at Caroline Cottage. It was as nice and relaxing as the first time! Great location, clean and walking distance to downtown Manteo. Tod is a great host as well!

Good time in Manteo, NC

Tod’s place was great and conveniently located in downtown Manteo. It was nice to be able to walk to shops and dining locations in town. The boardwalk along the water front is also close to the home. Highly recommend.

Perfect Girls Getaway

My sister and I found this property to be the perfect spot for a nice getaway at the Outer Banks. The house was extremely clean and the communication with Tod was very clear and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the historic neighborhood and found the location to be very close to everything we wanted to do.

Great property close to everything!

We lived our stay in the cottage. Tod was fantastic and easy to reach. He accommodated our last minute booking and made staying there super simple. The cottage is immaculately clean, perfectly sized for a couple and walking distance to town. We hope to come back to visit again soon.

Great spot in Manteo

Great location in Manteo. The over-garage apartment is very well done and has everything you need for a stay. It’s nice that there are three separate rooms…bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/tv room. We have already booked our next visit here.

Beautiful and great location

The unit was in lovely condition, just as advertised, and was perfect for the two of us. We stayed a week and would love to come back. It's also in a great location, you can walk to downtown Manteo's restaurants, shops, and the festival park very easily. Tod was a great host!

Manteo Birding Trip

My wife and I had a similar photography trip to Manteo last fall, but wanted to stay somewhere outside of the dense timeshares and multi family settings, which drove my initial search in the area. Found this great standalone cottage that was perfectly set up for our stay and in a great location. The owner communication was great and for the first time in over a dozen VRBO rental experiences, we were actually greeted by the owner. Tod was very welcoming and the property was everything it was advertised to be. Made a perfect ‘Home Base’ for trips to Alligator River NWR, Pea Island and Lake Mattamuskeet. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend stay

The Apartment was perfect. We had a wedding in Manteo and worked out perfectly. Everything was really clean and had everything we needed. The owner was super nice and responded immediately if we had questions. Loved Manteo and would definitely stay here again!!

Convenient and Cozy

My husband and I had an amazing weekend in Manteo. Tod's cottage is immaculate, bright, quiet and convenient to downtown. It is a short walk to the boardwalk, shopping, and restaurants. Tod could not have been and more gracious host. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Beautiful Property

We stayed here for 5 nights; beautiful private cottage with all the amenities. Great location - about 10ish minutes to Nags Head and the beaches. Definitely felt more local and less touristy, which I think we both appreciated. Lots of good places to eat and we never had issues finding parking at any of the public beach accesses. Tod (the host) was also great! Very communicative and offered some great food recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Cottage / Excellent Location

We made a last minute change in vacation plans and found this cute gem of a cottage! Our stay was for a week and we absolutely loved the cottage... clean, comfortable and well supplied in every way, with easy parking out front. The downtown historic harbor of Manteo with restaurants and shops is just a few minutes walk. Tod was a wonderful host and very responsive to questions! Highly recommend! We hope to come back!
