Denna historiska 750 kvadratmeter nyinredda ett-rums-privata hemmet genomgick en underbar designrenovering år 2016 av Holly Baker av HGTVs show New Orleans Reno.

Fodor heter det inspirerande Bywater-området, en TOP TRAVEL DESTINATION för 2019 och Louisa är den perfekta Bywater Street för att absorbera de lokala smakerna medan du kopplar av ute på den stora verandan. Den rymliga, eleganta interiören med sina 12. 5 "tak kommer också att rymma alla möjliga behov!

Hemmet ligger på det mest populära hörnet av hip Bywater-kvarteret och ligger på samma gata och mindre än ett kvarter från några av NOLAs bästa restauranger och barer som Marks Bar och The Country Club restaurangbar och pool. Satsuma och Paloma är runt hörnet och Bacchanal, Elizabeth's, Pizza Delicious, Suis Generis och Crescent Park är alla bara några kvarter bort. Huset ligger bara 15 minuters promenad till fransmännen Street och franska kvarteret.

Perfect location

Awesome Stay

This beautiful home had everything we could have asked for. It was clean, beautifully decorated with lot of amenities. The location was perfect for walking to many restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the a great breakfast at Alba’s which is only a two minute walk from the front door.Our host was responsive and also had some great restaurant suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

Honeymoon Stay

The property’s location was great, allowing my wife and I to walk around Bywater to local restaurants and stores. We were no farther than a twenty minute drive to other districts in New Orleans. The home, and district, felt very safe, with multiple locks and a security system, clean, and offered all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend this home to anyone planning to stay in New Orleans.

I needed a place for a night to then catch a flight the next day. Place was really nice. Owner responded to messages in real time. Great location in Bywater. Places to eat and drink were very close.

A perfect stay in the Bywater neighborhood

The property is a beautifully renovated New Orleans style shotgun house, located in a quiet Bywater neighborhood, an easy walk to the French Quarter. The owner could not have been more hospitable. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to the next visit.

Sweet ByWater apartment

Suzanna is everything you could want in a host. Responsive while being laid back. She helped make our stay feel like we had come home. And what a home it is, airy and bright with soaring (14 foot?) ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen, high end linens and in-unit washer and dryer. The location is perfect for exploring the Bywater neighborhood, its growing list of Great restaurants and new clubs opening on St Claude and ready access to Crescent City park along the river.

Bayou Blizzard 2025

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bywater Beauty. Suzanna was an attentive host and very easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean and well appointed with everything a traveler would need. The Bywater location was convenient to many excellent restaurants and it was an easy walk along Crescent Park to the Quarter.Our stay occurred during a once in a lifetime New Orleans blizzard. It made us appreciate even more the easy communication with Suzanna as we were able to arrange for an extra nights stay due to our flight being cancelled. And the well equipped kitchen was all the more important due to most of the restaurants being closed!We highly recommend the Bywater Beauty!

Beautiful in Bywater

The house and location was perfect. Bywater is a neat community with lots of local restaurants, coffee houses and pubs. We ate somewhere different everyday. It was fun exploring the community. we went on lots of walks and bike rides. I was fun meeting Suzanne, we got to see the video of the renovation. Really nicely done. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

At home in the Bywater

As soon as I stepped through the door of this Bywater Beauty I felt at home. I just felt comfortable, relaxed without a sense of needing anything more. The location is great with a short walk to many cozy quieter neighborhood restaurants, bars, and cafes. Frenchmen Street (Marigny music clubs), and French Quarter were easily walkable too. My wife and I used our feet to get everywhere except for the cable car we took to get out to the Garden District. Our host, Suzanna, is very proactive and super responsive ensuring our stay went off without a hitch. When I'm in New Orleans in the future I will definitely try to reserve her place again.

Perfect Stay!

Suzanna was a friendly and excellent host, and her place was an authentic addition to our time in New Orleans. The location was everything we wanted, in a beautiful Nola neighborhood with nearby restaurants, and the water front literally in walking distance! The home is wonderfully styled and cozy. Will definitely be staying here again!

Very nice!

We loved staying in this home. I would return to it if I pass through New Orleans again. Everything is perfect in the house and as described. I was unsure of the location as I wanted to be somewhat close to the quarter and this was just right. My husband and I even walked to the quarter but it was a good 25 minute walk. We loved sitting on the front porch in the evening and feeling the vibe of the neighborhood. There are several restaurants in close walking distance and all were good. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Bywater rental

This place was amazing! The location was perfect. It was a few blocks from numerous bars and outstanding restaurants. The French Quarter and Frenchman St. were less than a mile walk. The neighborhood was beautiful and the home itself was beautiful. The host Suzanna was wonderful, very helpful and willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. This will definitely be our go-to place for New Orleans.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Longer Stay Needed

Our only regret was we wish our stay was longer , our host Suzanna was very easy to get ahold of and responded to any of our requests for restaurant recommendations or questions pertaining to the property. The rental is extremely clean and everything you need is provided . If you want a New Orleans experience , my advice is rent here, eat and drink local on a night or two. Go the short drive to the French Quarter to check out the sites, but embrace the unique local culture. We will be back.

Beautifully restored gem in an ideal location with an amazing host!

We had a great time in NOLA! Things are a bit quieter at the moment, which was just fine for us. We spent one day fishing which was lovely to see the water and wildlife, but we mostly enjoyed the walkable, safe, and eclectic neighborhood. Suzanna made us feel right at home, and even invited us to a neighborhood block party and outdoor music event. It was cool to meet her friends and neighbors and hear some good tunes while eating jambalaya and sipping wine on the street. Back at the house every detail was anticipated and graciously accommodated. We enjoyed the kitchen and front porch, even watched a little TV for the Saints game. The second half of the game was enjoyed a block down at the bar, at Markeys, which did a great job by socially distancing and contact tracing each party. (Something you don't see everywhere in this country but should.) Lastly, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

My Bywater stay

Suzanna is a super easy to deal with and we were able to check in early too!! It’s a beautiful place and the neighborhood is very nice. Parking is at a premium but we were able to park right in front of the property most of the time. There’s lots to see and do...bring your walking shoes!! Thank you Suzanna for all you did for us to make our stay memorable.

Perfect in every way

This wasn’t a typical Nola trip for me or for Nola in that i incorprated yoga, major walks, early mornings, early bedtimes. The house was fantastic, calm and light. the sitting porch where the neighbors say hi not once but every time they pass! The neighborhood vibe is so cool with just enough of a mix of old and new. Thank you i want to come back. Is tomorrow too soon?
