Undangömt från buller och om alla kontakter i vardagen, är en tyst '' Carriage House '' lägenhet ligger bara några miles utanför den pittoreska lilla byn Samlag, PA. Många attraktioner Lancaster County är i närheten: Kitchen Kettle, Strasburg Railroad, nederländska Wonderland, Amish Quilt Butiker, Rockvale och Tanger Outlet gallerior, Sight and Sound Millenium teatern, Shady Maple Restaurang / Smorgasboard och andra restauranger med Amish Matlagning, Buggy Rides, luftballong rider.

Ursprungligen transport huset var en out-byggnad som har nyligen omvandlats till en charmig lägenhet med rymliga högt i tak och mysig inredning. Det har en platt-TV / DVD, en elektrisk spis, bekväm sittgrupp, matbord och pentry (diskbänk / kyl / mikrovågsugn / kaffebryggare.) Ett separat sovrum har en målad armoire och en mjuk-as-a-moln duntäcke.

Den rymliga gården har ett stort lusthus, perfekt för picknick och du uppmanas att promenera genom fleråriga trädgårdar som spricker med färg på sommaren eller slappna av i hängmatta.

Min man och jag bor på samma 2 hektar stora egendom som gästpaketet, liksom våra grannar som hyr huset bredvid. Ibland finns det barn som leker utomhus eller andra familjerelaterade aktiviteter som händer på platsen, men Carriage House ligger i det egna rummet och mycket privat.

“Clean and Cozy”

Formerly from PA and used this as our base while visiting family and friends in the area. Love the cleanliness and that everything needed for a weeks stay was provided. Used the well supplied kitchen for several meals. Bed and pillows were great. Such a quiet and relaxing place to return to each day and the grounds are lovely. Thank you to the wonderful owners.

Great place for a family of 3!

The location of the property near farmland was peaceful to return to each evening. It was a short drive to a main grocery store as wall as many smaller shops, restaurants and attractions. Check-in was super simple and the host was quick to respond with the few questions I had. The Carriage House is nicely laid out and the kitchen had all the necessities for cooking. The pull out couch was the perfect sleeping situation for my 8-year-old. We’d love to return again if visiting the area!

Beautiful Amish Country Estate

This is a wonderful Amish county getaway snuggled in the hills ! This little cottage is a perfect setting for relaxing, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you would need , and all the little incidentals you may have forgotten. From the welcoming friendship bread ,coffee, tea, they have thought of eveything ! Thank you Smucker family for a wonderful stay !

Perfect spot!

BEST PLACE EVER!!

Since my husband and I have been married, this was THE BEST place we have stayed! Booking was easy and seemless, and the host communications were clear, timely, and above alk super friendly. Before we arrived, Tessa sent us all the information we would need including directions, parking, and how to get into the Carriage House.We felt like we were at home as soon ad we opened the door-- inviting decor, spotless rooms, those extras that might not have been packed (like deodorant, lotions, and toothbrushes and toothpaste). There were even some coupons for free coffee and an Amish Friendship cake waiting for us! Outside was a gazebo to sit at, and lots of grass to walk on. We were so impressed that we already started planning when we can return!

Beautiful Oasis

We love to vacation in the Lancaster area to relax and unwind. Our host and her family were helpful, gracious and kind. The suite was beautifully decorated and completely comfortable. We also loved how perfectly situated to the activities we enjoy in the area. Definitely would stay there again!

Delightful home away from home

My husband and I and young daughter live on the same property as the guest house. I (Tessa) grew up next door and after 15 years of living in Philadelphia, we bought this property from my parents. Growing up, my grandmother lived in the same house as we do! Her quilt shop is now the space that has been turned into this lovely guest suite.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I did not have plans to move back to Lancaster County from Philadelphia, but I met my now husband during 2020 while I was home caring for my sick grandma. I couldn't be more pleased to come back to my roots and start growing a family where I was raised.

The bustling little "tourist town" of Intercourse is located just a few minutes from our property, but while you are at the Carriage House, the world slows down, and you can simply enjoy a peaceful, rural spot in Lancaster County.
