LĂ€ge, plats, plats! Bara sex miles frĂ„n Fredericksburg, tre mil frĂ„n Luckenbach och i nĂ€rheten av Ă„tta vingĂ„rdar, Ă€r detta det perfekta stĂ€llet att njuta av Hill Country's "BÄSTA" !!

Loggpartiet av denna struktur Àr ett gammalt korn som anvÀndes pÄ 1800-talet. Det flyttades, i takt, till denna plats. Loggarna var "hackade" och lokala hantverkare konstruerade noggrant öppen spis och skorsten. I den "tillÀggsdel" rÀddades gamla skÄp, dörrar och fönster frÄn sekelskiftets byggnader och anvÀndes för att skapa underbar vÀrme och en kÀnsla av pionjardagar.

Loggavsnittet i stugan Àr vardagsrummet med TV och öppen spis. Rummet Àr vÀnligt och inbjudande och Äh-sÄ-vackert inredda. Det lilla köket kommer sedan med sin land charm och inbyggd praktisk.

Sovrummet Ă€r vackert och romantiskt med en king size-sĂ€ng med specialtillverkade "eleganta" sïżœïżœngklĂ€der och fĂ€rska gardiner. Utsikten frĂ„n varje fönster Ă€r en speciell behandling. Badet har en gammaldags badkar för att erbjuda en lyxig blötlĂ€ggning för alla som kommer in hĂ€r. Ägaren som bor bredvid dekorerar omsorgsfullt och kĂ€rleksfullt hela stugan.

Enjoyed everything about our stay. The deer,pony,redbirds and Texas purple sage added beauty and interest to our time as we rocked away our cares on the front porch.

Great Stay!!!

The stay was fantastic. Sooo Peaceful. Only issue was getting into the property. It was dark and impossible to see the entrance. John, the owner, had to come to the gate and flag us down with a flashlight. We will be back in a heartbeat. Can't wait until next year.

Love this location

We have stayed in Fredericksburg near downtown several times. This location was so much better. We were closer the wineries we enjoy and Luckenbach for dancing. Very quiet and country feel. We will definitely rent every time at this point.

Quiet and relaxing

Spent the weekend at High Meadow Cabin with my brother. Very close to Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. Convenient but also a nice quiet get away. Probably a great place for couples but my brother said the couch was comfortable.

Perfect for a quiet get away

We loved this quiet little cabin on the outskirts of town. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. We loved watching the deer in the backyard from the windows. The size was perfect for my husband and I! A little confusion from the directions sent on how to access the cabin and park led to a slightly uncomfortable conversation with owner. (The directions say to park in the back and he expected us to park on the side). Other than that, we loved our stay.

Girls Getaway

My daughter and I had a wonderful time. I can’t say enough how nice this place is. Very peaceful, quite, secluded, scenic, ABUNDANCE of deer, the most friendliest little pony that greeted us everyday (fyi
he loves carrots) and just the overall ambiance of the history of the home. A true gem. Conveniently located to anywhere you want to go, trade days, wine vineyards or shopping on Main Street. Love this place and will definitely stay again.

Fabulous cabin

This was an adorable cabin
very very vlean
just like we like it. Amazing authentic characters and charm. The only improvement would be if you didn’t have to pick up the key and drop it off
it was in the opposite direction we were traveling, but not a huge deal.

Very Relaxing!

Wonderful place to stay

This place was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable. WE so enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and enjoying the peacefulness of this place, the little paint pony that would visit us at the cabin and the deer. Only bad thing was the gate that had to be opened and closed but we are country people so it was no big deal. The cabin entrance was a little hard to find the first time as there is no sign at the gate. I give it a 10 and definitely will be going back.

My sister and I loved the little cabin. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Our one and ONLY complaint was the lock on the gate. It was very hard for us to open and close. Other than that.....PERFECT !!! We would love to come back in the Fall and burn real wood in the fireplace.

Some things to consider

Consider: Bed really high off the floor. My wife is 5' tall. There's no foot stool to help her get to bed. Had to use a luggage rack. The shower is a little dangerous. No stool to get in the tub and no hand rails to assist standing in the tub. I'm 75 and would like a little safety. Just things to consider.

Outstanding property great in all respects. The only thing disconcerting was to find an additional $50 fee on top of the quoted price. VRBO not saying anything in advance of this additional fee.

Weekend Getaway

This place was great! Very quiet and surrounded by nature. It was a little hard to find at first because the entry is tucked away on the side of the road. Other than that we enjoyed this place so much! If you are looking for a place to disconnect and hang out with nature this place is for you! There was plenty of space in the cabin and it comes with pretty much everything you need for a quick little trip. We will be coming back for sure!
