Köket är välutrustat med allt du behöver laga frukost lunch och middag. Köket har ett genomgångsfönster i matsalen. Från matsalen och vardagsrummen kan du njuta av en fri utsikt över vattnet. Det finns också en queen size-bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet och två tvilling rullar för ytterligare gäster att sova på.

A week in Corpus

We had a very nice time in this apartment, it was clean and nice and had everything that we needed. I would have liked to have a direct contact with someone, instead of everything being done on a automated way through the app and emails. Everything was very nice, i would return for sure.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented with Padre Escapes for almost 10 years and have always been impressed with the level of overall quality of locations, properties and cleanliness. However this property was outdated, not well kept, and not clean. There were lots of bugs and ant problems in both bathrooms. We were disappointed to find this after having such great success with Padre Escapes in the past.

A Decent Stay

Our stay overall was good. The deck out back was nice, with easy access to fishing. The pool was also nice and cold, even in 100+ degree heat! There was a decent number of towels, plenty of kitchen utensils, and the AC was nice and cold. It was close to the beach, and not far from major shopping and eating in Corpus Christi. There was one thing that took away from our trip. The sleeper sofa was broken. An automatic air up bed was brought for it, which made up for the sleeping area, but it did not fix the broken couch. It was pretty much unusable to sit on and very uncomfortable for watching the only TV in the unit. The air up bed took up a lot of the space in the living area making it difficult to move around. The sofa really should have been replaced with something we could at least sit on when maintenance was unable to fix it. There was also a smell in the unit when we arrived. Maintenance was supposed to come do an ozone treatment, but they did not show up at the time they were supposed to, and no one ever called to reschedule. It finally dissipated after a couple of days.

Not good

House was dirty. Cockroaches. Windows had black dirt build up in corners. Apartment block was very noisy with neighbors having parties that ended at 2am each night. Parking area is a mess. Everyone seems to park in whatever spot they feel like. One night there was no parking spot for our vehicle. Outside seating area needs an umbrella, deck was dirty and so was grill. Would not recommend this place.

Great Location

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time here. The location is great. The first night was not great because the neighbors were pretty loud and smoking so that is all you could smell inside and on the back porch. The rest of the nights were fine though because they left. Our deck was empty except for two plastic chairs. From the pictures, I expected a few more chairs. The water pressure was great and we always had hot water. We liked the ice maker and fridge. The kids liked the pool and the beds were comfortable.

It was Okay

All went well upon arriving. The check in was super easy. However, the first night my brother was sleeping on bed and he felt something on his neck. Turns out it was a big cockroach! That was not a very pleasant first night. Please be advise that only two vehicles per condo are allowed. We were unaware and everyone drove separately since some could come earlier than others due to work so one vehicle had to park on Mont Pelee Rd which is a couple of minutes away. It wasn’t too bad though. One last thing the pull out sofa was not too comfortable the mattress on it is too thin. I would say i would stay here again but no cockroaches; maybe do more pest control. It was planned one month in advance and the whole process was smooth and pretty quick to get reserved. Pros: location, dishes, washing machine, quick response if need to call for anything Cons: cockroach, parking, sofa bed

Fishing Weekend Stay

This was a convenient place to stay not the Ritz, but nice for fisherman, boat ramp very close, boat dock to keep your boat in the water right behind the condo, very close access to Laguna Madre. Needs improvements at the dock area, No Lights in the dock, and all PVC water pipes to dock or cleaning table were broken. This needs to be added for guest safety on premises. Broken chair leg on one of the dining chairs. No boat trailer parking so make arrangements before staying here for alternate location to keep the trailer while you’re staying here. Inside condo was very clean and comfortable beds and clean linens. I would recommend for Fisherman to stay here.

Horrendously Noisy Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved being on the water but the culdesac this condo sits on is with mostly rentals so the area is not the nicest. We had construction from the day we moved in till two weeks before our 3 month stay ended. Then a month into our stay the upstairs unit started renovations and after the new floor was put in, you can hear the people walking across the floor. I would not stay in this unit unless you're on the top floor. The front window had a gapping hole in the construction around the window so that you couldn't leave the windows open since bugs would get in. The patio screen also had gapping tears so you couldn't leave that open either. The master bed is on wheels so it moves easily when getting into and out of the bed. The sheets are pretty rough so we got our own. It was a tough stay for us and we tried to get out of the rental early but the CONTRACT doesn't allow this. We were given a $100 refund for a $6K stay.

Summer Family Trip

The only issue we had was parking. The unit next to us said they had reserved parking, but there were no signs. Also the morning we left there were cars double parked making it hard to safely back out.

A good stay

Living room is very small and didn’t quite accommodate our family of 4. Recommend providing a larger kitchen trash can. Felt a little pressured to check out with the repetitive emails, texts and then housekeeping knocking on door at 9:30am. Overall, enjoyed the stay and would consider in the future.

Loved being able to fish on the channe but hated the construction

Reviewer Comments: When driving up to the location, I was a little worried at first because it seemed so crowded but for the little little apartment complex for 6 rooms it was perfect. The room was located in the middle of the first floor and one story. The room stated it could sleep 8. We had 6 adults and 2 children and it was pretty crowded in There. Maybe 4 adults 4 children would of been better. Room was Clean, had a washer and dryer, and back porch had a very nice view. No one was at the pool but us when we were there, so it felt like it was private. The only complaint I had was, when we got there on Friday about 3 30 it obvious there was some type of construction going on in the apartment above us. I figures ok, I know its Friday I'm sure they will probably be working till 6 or 7. Nope was I wrong, they ended up working and rolling till about mid ight before it stopped. I let Padre escapes know, which I k ow this is not their fault, and the HOA owning the complex stated that they did not work that late and they promise they wouldn't again on Saturday. Welp... again till midnight. I understand d you have to work, but ending at a decent time and being respectful for everyone in that complex. Then to topic off the HOA peeps pretty much called me a liar by saying they didn't work that late. I appreciate Padre Escapes listening to my concerns and trying to do what they could to help. I also understand that construction won't be happening forever and it will be do e sooner rather than later. Just wish a little more co sidesteps was taken into play. Especially for how much money you spend. This is our only vacation this summer planned because of gas prices and cost of everything going up. Just wish it was a better experience.
