Brookside Retreat är idealiskt beläget på en lugn sidogata med utsikt över Tannery Brook, en helårsström som flyter genom byn Woodstock och precis förbi huset!

Denna nyrenoverade och historiska konstnärsbungalow har en omfattande uteplats med blå sten (med en inbyggd utomhusspis), ett täckt däck och gångvägar med utsikt över bäcken ~ samt en rymlig anlagd och inhägnad gräsmatta.

Tre sovrum rymmer upp till 6 personer (se detaljer nedan). Dessutom finns det ett nyrenoverat och fullt utrustat lantkök; en separat matplats (plats 8); och ett rymligt vardagsrum med katedraltak, takfönster, 2-våningar norr ljus fönster, en gaseldad eldstad med en exponerad sten skorsten ~ och ett piano!

Fastigheten har till och med en separat författares ateljé (med en hopfällbar futon-soffa), för tyst kontemplation, arbetande sabbatikaler eller överflödande gäster.

Brookside Retreat är det perfekta stället för en romantisk resa, familjesemester eller personlig reträtt!

Det finns 3 sovrum: 1) ett sovrum med en king size-säng, glasdörrar som vetter mot ett privat däck och eget badrum; 2) ett gäst sovrum med en queen-size säng, katedralen tak, stora fönster och ett delat badrum; och 3) ett barns sovrum med en spjälsäng, två enkelsängar och utfällbar queen-size futon soffa.

HUSDJUR
Väl uppdragna och lådor tränade hundar betraktas ~ fråga. Observera att en avgift på 75 $ per hund per hund tillkommer.

Avbokningar och återbetalningar
Avbokning krävs för trettio dagar. Alla avbokningar är föremål för en avbokningsavgift på 10% eller $ 100. 00 (beroende på vad som är större). Avbokningar som görs mer än trettio dagar före ankomstdatum kommer att få en full återbetalning minus avbokningsavgiften. Avbokningar som görs inom trettio dagar efter ankomstdatum tappar hela betalningen. Tidig avresa garanterar inte återbetalning av hyran.

Perfect weekend away

Woodstock Film Festival weekend

Friends and family stayed at the Brookside Retreat for the Woodstock Film Festival weekend. We had an amazing time. House is perfectly located, was in immaculate condition, and had all the amenities needed. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely Stay

Nice home, great layout for our 2 year old to run around in and so we could see him playing. Beautiful outdoor and close to town. We walked into town multiple times a day.

Amazing time!

We had such a great stay with my toddler and 2 dogs! The area is extremely dog friendly and walking distance to all the best coffee shops and restaurants ! The fully fenced yard gave us such a peace of mind. The house was clean, fully stocked with anything one might need and the appliances were all updated and worked great! We will definitely be back!!

Charming brookside cottage

Our family of five absolutely loved this cottage. It was adorably charming yet also very clean and well stocked. Beautiful and relaxing vacation home

Brookside Retreat was everything we could have wished for in a vacation home. The house is even bigger than the photos show, the property is beautiful, and being right next to a stream surrounded by trees while only a few blocks from stores made it just perfect. The house is wonderfully equipped and the property manager was immediately accessible when a question came up. We definitely plan on coming back.

Beautiful brook-side retreat in Woodstock center

We absolutely loved the property and our stay. The home is comfortable and well-appointed. We loved the gas fireplace, large kitchen and the patio overlooking the stream. The house is convenient to everything and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Communication was A+++ throughout our stay and we could not have been happier. This is a true gem!!

Wonderful Experience!

This cottage in Woodstock was perfect for our group. The master bedroom is spacious, as is the kitchen and living room area, and it the heat worked unbelievably well considering the very cold temperatures over the weekend we were there. The outdoor and indoor fireplaces both added to the experience. The property manager was also extremely communicative, which was helpful leading up to our stay. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Warm, welcoming and cozy!

Great country house, well situated near town, with stream in the rear. Would definitely stay here agin. Excellent communication with the owner, whose attention to detail helps to make this a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen -- pretty much everything you might need. This is a cozy house, not a fancy house. Very comfortable for a family. Stairs are a bit steep for little kids with kids beds upstairs.

a memorable Thanksgiving

Cozy home close to everything. The babbling brook soothes the soul. Placement of bedrooms and baths provided both convenience and privacy for each of us. The kitchen provided all utensils and equipment we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. Excellent service from property manager. Highly recommend! Thought we didn't have infants/toddlers with us, we noticed that this property would accommodate them well.

Fabulous Getaway

Thanks so much. We had a wonderful time and are just sorry it was so short. My daughters enjoyed walking into town, while my son loved the stream. I relaxed, sitting on the deck off the master and reading my book. We drove to Phonecia and visited Cooper Lake. My son was able fish at Wilson Park, although he didn't catch anything we all loved the park and sandwiches from the Cub. Dinner was delightful and interesting at Joshua's and scones from Bread Alone were fabulous. The house was perfect. The gas fire, the blue stone patio, the stocked kitchen and more. We roasted marshmallows one night and made s'mores. Hopefully, we can visit again. Thanks so much.

Wonderful in Woodstock

The Brookside is the perfect Woodstock retreat. The indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for anything from meditation to dancing. Loved the convenience of walking the town and returning to a complete kitchen and outdoor dining. We look forward to our next visit

The best location!

We have stayed in the Woodstock area several times, and this was absolutely one of our favorites. The house has so much character, and is tucked away in beautiful nature, but still very accessible to all of the fun and deliciousness that Woodstock has to offer with just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. We had our 1 year old with us - it's a great location for young ones too! We would love to come back soon.

Lovely family escape!

We had a lovely stay with our 2 year old! The layout was nice and open and it was more or less kid safe! The fireplace was amazing and the piano was a hit! My husband and I had to work a little bit and the desk in the master was a perfect set up. Location wise it doesn’t get any better being so close to town! Linens were great, kitchen had everything we needed, and the property manager was responsive. We had a wonderful holiday and new year and can’t wait for our next trip back to Woodstock!

Excellent family-friendly house!

My wife, two-year old daughter had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, about a 5-10 minute walk from the center of town and even closer to a great grocery store, coffee shop & CVS. If you're traveling with kids, the children's bedroom is perfect and the property is fun to explore being right on the creek. It was really cold during our stay so we spent a lot of time inside, which wasn't an issue with the great fireplace, large kitchen table and big, comfortable bedrooms. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and the property manager & owner were incredibly responsive and kind. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a getaway in Woodstock, especially if you have kids!
