Loved this house so much! It was so hard to leave. The landscaping made if feel very private, which we loved. Short walk to beach and short drive to the super secluded Pea Island beaches. Great host! Would love to book again. 10/10.

We had a Wonderful stay Laurie was helpful and very communicativeThe house was perfect for dinners and hanging out with family The beach is a short walk and they have beach chairs and other items for the shore Barbecue on the driveway was perfect Air conditioning kept the house very coolSunsets off the deck! Everything you need in the kitchen plus games and some books 3 or 4 ( can’t recall ) streaming TV’sThank you for a memorable week !

This rental is in an excellent location neither too close to the beach nor too far. The beach house was everything as advertised and more. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. Our stay was at the beginning of the season so our days were warm and the nights cool. We liked that we were far enough away from the business areas (quiet) but not so far for restaurants and services. Overall we loved staying at this location!

Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Upstairs was quite warm but adjusted AC vents and corrected problem. Overall an excellent stay !

Perfect in just about every way. Enough beds for me and my friends, steady wi-fi, In walking distance from the beach, and a short drive away from everything we wanted to do. We would definitely rebook at this house if we ever come back in the future.

Awesome place

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at down south! The house was clean upon arrival and very cool and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch. We will definitely consider staying here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Down South”! The house was exactly as described and met our expectations. Centrally located on the islands allowed us to visit places north and south. The beach was just a short walk from the house. We saw a couple of coyotes out and about, so be careful when walking in the evening!

The perfect place.

We loved everything about our stay at Down South and will definitely be returning. The house had EVERYTHING and then some that one could need at the beach.
