Peace and Quiet

My family of 6 really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as advertised and no fuss with anything. The area was peaceful and quiet and would definitely recommend this place if that is what you’re looking for.

Quiet and Semi Private

We loved our stay! Even though we were in a commnity neighborhood, there's woods behind us and beside us, so it was pretty private. Got to see some wildlife and hear a owl every night. Good times!

Christmas in Lavonia 2023

We had a relaxing, enjoyable time qt our cabin. It was the perfect spot to have a southern, rural Christmas getaway! Our host was amazing & spent over an hour on the phone with me recommending places to visit.. she was so sweet & I truly appreciated her time! We are already planning for a trip back 💗

Nice getaway - needs a deep clean + exterminator

Weekend stay at the A frame. Location was great, set up was great and easily worked for 4 adults. However, really needs a deep clean and exterminator. Spider webs in most rooms we needed to broom out ourselves and very dusty furniture, etc. We were overall happy with the stay, but definitely suffers property managers clean this place thoroughly before he next guest’s stay.

Do not take bass boats to this property

The online pictures makes it seem like this property would be great for parking multiple bass boats. 90 degree + turns with 3 foot ditches on both sides of the road. The roads to get to the property are single lanes that are barely wider than your vehicle. I tore up my trailer trying to get my boat in the driveway. I never went inside. The site contact was nice, but the property manager (evolve) is trying to keep my money because they say the property is as advertised.

Quirky and fun place overall

We needed a place that would allow our dog, that had a washer/dryer and ideally separate bedrooms for our 9 and 14 year old. Check. This place met those requirements. It was quirky in that it's like an A-frame cabin and everything was tiny. Unfortunately there was an issue with mildew smell that really bothered me (have had respiratory issues for the past 3 years / take daily breathing treatments) and I opted to stay in the living room on the pull-out couch instead of the bedroom off the back which was a converted porch. There were a couple of other issues there... but the owner was very responsive and because of that - gave it 4 stars instead of 3. I'd recommend this place especially in winter as a fun, off-beat place to stay if you want a unique experience.

Exactly what we needed!

Easy check-in and check-out. Great communication and every need we had was covered. My only critique would be the queen-sized bed in the master bdrm - some folks like a soft mattress and some like them firm. I prefer a firmer mattress, but that is very subjective and not worth taking away a star from such a great place to stay. We must have missed that the washer/dryer access was under the porch, but we found it and that dryer was a savior! We were in town for a softball tournament and loved the location of the cabin. That additional AC unit in the master bedroom closet was also very much appreciated! We want to come back and stay to enjoy the lake, parks and trails in the area that we did not have time to explore this trip. Good vibes live there and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed a couple of nights. Especially, love that pets are welcome! Thank you!

Mice, cots, lots of electrical expanders

The dishes were dirty and had mice droppings in the drawer. The twin beds were cots and sat maybe 2 Ft off the floor. We couldn’t find sheets for the pull out sofa which also had mouse droppings on it. The electrical outlets were coming out of the walls and each outlet was over loaded with extenders to plug up the things in the rooms. This is the first time I have been disappointed in a rental on Vrbo.

Not good for any one with respiratory issues

This place looks very nice on the outside, nice place to be able to bring your boat but that is the end of what is nice. The home smelled musty, including the towels. We had to go purchase towels and washcloths. There were cobwebs in the shower. The musty smell caused severe allergy flare up and no sleep.

Beautiful property and little cabin. Location is great. It’s clean and easy check in. Upstairs beds are not comfortable but everything else was perfect!

Quite, Relaxing, Charming, Older Cabin on Great Property

This cabin is within walking distance of the water and in a very quiet "neighborhood" of other lake cabins. The location is convenient... just some minutes from ChicFilA, gasoline, and Wendys. Dill's grocery is not far away in Lavonia. The cabin itself has some great art pieces in it. Living room furniture is comfy. Grill a tad small but perfect for 4 people. Very peaceful place. Can't give more than 3 stars on mattresses though. Twins are stiff, reminded colleague of the beds in barracks. Fine for kids though. Main bed mattress lacked support. Might bring your own grill tongs/spatula if you're going to grill. Overall was a great place to stay for 3 nights while we conducted business in the area.
