Visit the less busy end of Tybee's beach, known as North Beach, located just a few blocks away from this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental home. This area is the ideal location for a family to enjoy bike riding, playing at the playground and public park, or climbing to the top of the Tybee Lighthouse to take in views of the ocean. There's also an abundance of history on this side of the island with Officer's Row, Fort Screven and the Tybee Island Guard House just a stroll away!

Great stay

Our family of 4 generations had a stellar time. Enjoyed walking around the area in the evening., climbing the light house, e- biking in Savanna. The house is very comfortable and well supplied with kitchen equipment. Will come again.

Quiet & Comfortable

Love the quiet North Beach location near the lighthouse and beach access. Everything we needed for an enjoyable & comfortable stay was provided. We rented a golf cart nearby and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We plan on staying here again.

Booked this house with my family for my fiancé birthday, the house is very clean, plenty of space for everyone, only 0.3 miles from the beach, I will definitely booked it again next time.

Quiet, Comfortable House Not Far From Beach

We had a very pleasant stay in this house. It’s a couple of blocks from the beach, but not a bad walk. We had everything we needed, including beach chairs and a wagon for easy transport to the beach. Comfortable beds, and the neighborhood is very quiet. We’d definitely stay here again!

Tybee Vacation

The house was just a coupe blocks from north beach. There was a cooler and beach chairs which was nice. Renting a golf cart best way to get around the island

Family Vacation

What a wonderful home! Great location! Just a short walk to the beach. We took out granddaughter to see the beach for the first time and my grandson who was 2 weeks old. The home had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was easy. The wagon and toys were an added surprise. Check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Clean, Modern, Well-Appointed, Great Location

My family was so pleased with our stay here. The homeowners have nicely appointed the space with new appliances, beautiful kitchen cabinets with stone countertops, modern furniture, beautiful flooring, nice bathrooms, and very comfortable bedding. Exceptionally clean. The indoor and outdoor decks are great, as is the gas grill. Appreciated the kitchen wares, info binder/guide, wifi, TVs with many channels/movies, cornhole yard game, and supplies provided for our stay. I think the owners have thought of everything. The location is within walking distance of the lighthouse and a few great local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Accommodations

We could not be more happy with the house and owners. The house is perfectly located away the busy and noisy streets of South Tybee, but literally a few minutes walk to the island’s beautiful beaches. The cottage has everything one needs for a cozy ‘get-away’ and all is clean and in functional order. The owners made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and provided for with information on the islands activities and restaurants. We strongly recommend this rental to others, we certainly intend to come back again, and again. If you do visit, check out the paintings throughout the cottage, painted by the owner. They perfectly capture the sense and feeling of life on Tybee."

Stay here!

Clean and beautifully renovated vacation rental. Kitchen well equipped including spices and paper goods. Great screened in porch to enjoy the evenings and there were even lights and a Christmas tree! Landlord is attentive, thoughtful and responsive. The property is a short walk from the lighthouse and museum, marine science center, north beach and a beach bar/restaurant. Gas and convenience store around the corner. Having a house was more convenient than a condo because we could fit multiple cars easily. Highly recommend and would happily return.

Weekend Get Away with my Sister

First off, I want to thank the owner for the most wonderful experience staying at a rental home. The home is immaculately kept with top of the line accommodations. The entire environment was large enough for the 4 of us. The pictures are exactly as described at the home. Normally, whenever I rent a home I often clean as soon as I arrive but this time I did not have to. This house was spotless. New carpets, flooring, appliances and the linen was fresh. We all enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely return at this home. Thank you for the complimentary coffee! I will recommend this home to all of my family and friends. Cant say enough great things. The location is a 5 minute walk to the beach!!!

Awesome family vacation place

This is a great house in an awesome location with all the amenities you need. Would definitely come back. The house is at the upper end of the island and off the main road so you dont have to deal with the heavy traffic. Jack was awesome and answered questions quickly. Susie was also quick to bring us one item we asked for. The house was fresh, clean, well lit, and had everything we needed for our entire family. The wagon that is provided doesn't have 'balloon wheels' so its a little hard to pull in the sand, I'd say that is the only thing I would recommend to be upgraded. The beds are comfy and we had plenty of room for 3 cars, you can easily fit 6-7 if you use the driveway as well. The walk to the North Beach access is an easy 5-10 minute walk. You can also drive and use the $4/hr parking lot as well. There is a island wide parking app that I used as well, just set it up before you need it so you dont spend a lot of time doing that on the side of the road wasting vacation time. There are also the obligatory beach shops along the strip with plenty of places to eat and hang out. The pier at the south end is worth a visit along with strolling the sidewalks to drop into a shop or two.

Quiet, Family-friendly beach house - just needs a little more cleaning

We stayed here with our toddler and loved the location: a peaceful, safe neighborhood with the beach, playground, and lighthouse all within easy walking distance. The layout was perfect for families, giving us plenty of space to spread out and for our little one to explore. Our only concerns were cleanliness and cookware condition. The shower liners were stained with pink buildup, the master tub still had hairs when we arrived, and under the couch clearly hadn’t been vacuumed (with a toddler we're sitting on the floor alot). A few of the Teflon pans were scratched, which made cooking feel a bit risky. Overall, a wonderful spot for families in a great location—if the cleanliness issue is resolved, this would easily be five stars all around.

Not the Best

Pictures on line and real life are not accurate at all. Major plumbing issue occurred and the owner did not handle it professionally. They even new about the issue. I'm sure they are nice people but would NOT recommend staying there. Not clean or professionally maintained.

Amazing Beach Getaway

We spent a week on Tybee but easily could have stayed and enjoyed the house and island for a month! The house was perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 kids under 10) but would also be a great spot for a trip with friends. It was a quick walk to the beach and a great restaurant, marine science museum and a short ride from other places to eat, shop and fish. We were pleasantly surprised by the wagon and other beach equipment. The house was well furnished, comfortable and extremely clean. The screened in porch was great for rainy afternoons and you can see the lighthouse from the deck. Neighborhood was quiet and great for biking. Host provided everything we could possibly have needed. We’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

This house, near the lighthouse, is just perfect. Comfortable, large, great beds, kitchen filled with everything you need and a lovely screened in porch and open deck. Enjoyed our family time there very much and can fully recommend. jack was super responsive as well.
