Beautiful house, perfect location

This place is private, but walkable. Perfect family house with bunk rooms for kids. Very clean, safe, cozy. A place we would return to for sure. Great communication with host, Sheila was very helpful.

What a great house in an even better community. Minutes walk to the pool and beach!

Our family ranged from infants to grandparents and everything in between. This property was a great combination of family friendly beach house and proximity to restaurants for all our needs during our stay. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful Barefoot!

Tucked back in Seacrest - this home is in excellent condition and well-appointed. Our family of 6 had plenty of space, and the street was very quiet. We enjoyed the porches. Pool and beach are very busy and crowded. Location is close to everything - within easy walking distance of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach.

Walk to everywhere! Awesome Pool, Patios at House!

My wife, 10 month old son and I stayed a week here. We were looking for a place where we could spend a week as a family, without needing a car. This worked perfectly! Very family friendly and had everything we needed (and more!)

Enjoyed Seacrest!

This is a great house for multiple families. We loved that it had three king beds and the bunk beds! The porches were great places to relax. It was walking distance to the pool, stores, and beach. However, take the tram as much as possible to the beach.

Honest review! We have been to Destin area multiple times. This is the first time in this area. The house was clean but it showed wear on the walls and furniture. The beds are very hard and not comfortable. The property manager was responsive but when booking the property and spending so much to stay here, the owner should tell guests that there is construction literally in the back of the property. The workers started at 7am and didn't stop until after 5pm. Not ideal to wake up at 7am every morning on our vacation. When I texted the property manager about the construction and noise she just dismissed it. This property is literally no thrills. No beach or pool towels, no salt or pepper or spices, we had to buy everything. The toilet paper was so thin we had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels. There are so many other places for this price and you dont have to wake up at 7am on your vacation. There are so many bike riders and the traffic is terrible.

We had a great time! Very convenient to pool and tram pickup. House was clean and very kid friendly. Loved the screened porch! We all loved hanging out there and napping. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house has privacy which was very nice! Loved the screened in back porch .

The main living area is nicely laid out. The master bed was very comfy . The guest beds need to be replaced I noticed the owners so I hope the take care of this issue. There is plenty of room and space so your not crowed. Kitchen is stocked well too.

Very happy with the house, space it provided and overall furnishings!

It was our annual family beach trip and as the family grows we need larger accommodations. The 4 bedrooms worked out perfectly as we had 6 adults and 3 children in our group. Easy walking distance to the pool was a definite plus and we really liked the new efficient shuttle system which was new this year. We also appreciated the fact that the house was PET FRIENDLY. We will be looking forward to many more family beach vacations and hopefully can return to 42 Barefoot Lane!

Barefoot Perfection

We arrived to soft music and lighting in the very clean and well equipped house. The layout was perfect - the screened porch and other porches, the dining area being separate but close to the TV area - everyone was close but able to do what they desired be it Football games on TV or constructing a puzzle on the dining table. This is the best location on 30A - easy walking/biking access to everything. We had a great time - wish I lived there permanently.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here with our daughter and her family in June. The house was as advertised and completely clean upon our arrival. The manager was excellent to work with and even promptly replaced an empty propane tank on the bbq grill when we advised him it was out of gas. We love the community and the community pool is large and well taken care of with lots of lounge chairs. Trolley to the beach and back works very well and never waited more than 5 minutes. Highly recommend this house for families with children. Hope to return again.

Convenient and Beautiful Home

This was a beautifully appointed home with everything you vould possibly need as well as a great location close to two tram stops and a direct shot to the restaurants and town courtyard. It had four wonderful deck/seating areas that we enjoyed very much. The only issue and I do not blame the hosts for this AT ALL is that the home was not properly cleaned. The floors were not clean and there were even dirty dishes that had been put away. We did a quick vacuum and mop and ran a cycle in the dishwasher and all was good but obviously that is not something anyone expects to have to do on their first day arriving at a vacation home. Property Manager was very apologetic and responsive. I hope they find a better, more thorough crew to do their turnover that is more appreciative of the work they are being given. We would absolutely give them anothe chance as the home is lovely and Selia was great! We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great communication from the property management. The only disappointment was not being made aware in advance of the construction occurring behind the property to the common green space that had a walking path down to the pool/amphitheater. This area was therefore closed during our stay but the pool was open.

We loved this house! It was back a little further in the neighborhood, making it a little away from the hustle and bustle, yet still convenient. It was set back a little more than other houses, adding more privacy. There seemed to be more trees than many properties, adding to privacy and keeping the beautiful screened-in porch cooler. It was very close to the pool, making easy walking and bike access on hot days. The tram stop was just steps outside of the front door. The house smelled fantastic when we walked in for the first time and everything was so clean! The sheets and beds were excellent quality. The porch swing in the screened in back porch was very relaxing. There were several other furnished balconies off the top floor. Everything seemed to be high end...including the Maytag washer and dryer. This place was amazing and we definitely recommend!

Family beach vaca

Wonderful house in a great location at Seacrest beach. Excellent furnishings, well stocked kitchen, great access to walk to beautiful private beach and lots of shopping and eateries. Super easy check in/check out. Microwave went out during our stay, but manager brought a temporary replacement the next day. Pool unfortunately closed several times during our stay due to contamination issues, but great facility when open. Would definitely return

Awesome vacation

The home had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of dish or appliance needed. The home was very clean. We bought 6 female teens for spring break. They had a blast. Everything was as described. No complaints at all. Would definitely rent here again.
