Lovely Property that exceeded our expectations!

This is a beautiful home that is well appointed with all the amenities you will need. We truly felt like we were staying in our home away from home. The owners/hosts are incredibly friendly and provided the best communications with us during our entire stay. The location is perfect to visit the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Fantastic House w/Great Location

My wife and I wanted to just get out of the Texas heat for a bit. Booked this house and we could not have been happier with our choice. Sharon and Smitty are great host with tons of recommendations for things to do or see. The house is one of the best appointed houses we have stayed in. Every little detail is taken care of. Lots of great amenities for bath, kitchen etc. There is no A/C however there is an evap cooler, which was more than fine. It was over 90 when we were there and the evap worked great! This house is close to pretty much everything. Downtown Manitou, Pikes Peak, Garden of Gods, Cliff Dwellings, Royal Gorge (1hr) Colorado Springs, Biltmore, on and on.... Bonus you have a family of deer that visit pretty much everyday! We will be back for sure.

Lovely place and outstanding hosts

Perfect setting for exploring Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and surrounding areas. House was perfect, and hosts made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and centrally located

We had an amazing time during our stay. Sharon and Smitty were great hosts. Sharon offered lots of suggestions for restaurants and activities and we loved them all. The neighbors are very friendly as well. Wonderful stay!

Great place to stay!

This is the nicest, cleanest place we have ever stayed in! It is very comfortable and cozy and close to downtown restaurants, etc. Hosts are top notch! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend this place!

Very nice home and Hosts in a great location

Everything was as advertised with 17 Mayfair including the attentive and helpful communication with our Hosts. Their knowledge of the area helped us quite a bit. The accessibility of our hosts was second to none in my travel experiences--extremely accessible and helpful. The house itself is really nice--very spacious with many well appointed areas for hanging out and talking/eating/chilling. The area is very quite even though it is close to things to do. I would definitely stay here again in a future Manitou Springs stay!

A real gem!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this property and the hosts. My family was in Colorado over spring break so that my soon could tour some universities, and we decided to spend part of that time in Colorado Springs. This house is convenient to everything, so it made a great home base. Sharon is an exceptional communicator -- probably the best I have come across, and she was helpful and genuine before, during, and after the stay -- she and her son both have many suggestions for restaurants, hikes, etc. The house itself is gorgeous -- one of those properties that makes you think "you know, if I owned this, I don't think I'd rent it out...". Amazing views of Pikes Peak from the living room and patio, plenty of space for everyone, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds - just a fantastic space overall. It has the feel of a house that is actually lived in between rentals, meaning it is well-equipped -- not minimally equipped and sterile like so many rentals. This place would be particularly ideal for two couples traveling together. Anyway, I give the house, and the hosts, my highest recommendation!!

Simply Perfect

The owners were very nice and communicated with us very well, providing welcomed, unsolicited suggestions and recommendations during our stay. The property was flawless and was found to be exactly as advertised. The evenings were peaceful and quiet. On a few of the mornings we watched momma Mule Deer and her new fawn nibbling at the vegetation on the property. All in all - a great, relaxing vacation. We will be back.

THIS is the ONE!

This property was just what we hoped for. It was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. Beds were super comfy! It has private porches off both bedrooms, and a great patio out front with gorgeous mountain views. Convenient to shopping and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs and nearby Garden of the Gods. Just a short drive into Colorado Springs for lots of other attractions. Owners live onsite and were so nice and helpful at check-in. Would definitely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

THIS is the one!

This property is great! The house is very spacious, with 2 large bedrooms and a sofa bed. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The entire house has been updated and is very clean and comfortable. The outdoor spaces are equally as comfortable, with private porches off each bedroom and a large front patio. Mountain views from here are spectacular! And don’t be surprised if you see a deer run through the yard! Very convenient to downtown Manitou Springs (which is such a cute little town with great shops and restaurants) and a short drive to Colorado Springs and all the sights, including Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. If you’re planning a trip to this area, THIS is the one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best Place Ever and Even Better People

The best place and even better hosts. There’s not enough words to explain how much care and thoughtfulness the hosts put into the home. Privacy all around and everything you can think of is there and even stuff you can’t think of. I don’t write reviews at all unless the experience is stellar and that doesn’t even begin to describe the house and the hosts. Will never want to stay anywhere when visiting. Some may see that hosts are onsite and that may deter you. Don’t. They are in a separate house next door and give total privacy. The view and the location wow. Our expectations were exceeded by miles and can’t say thank you enough.

Wonderful find in Manitou!

This property was incredible, the home is absolutely beautiful, my daughter said it looks just like a “fairy house” and was thrilled to stay the week. The owners were fabulous, they made sure the home was stocked with all the necessities and then some! They were very helpful with ideas on things to do/places to visit and were available to help with anything we needed, we will definitely stay again the next time we are in Manitou!

Wonderful hosts, impeccable property

This home had everything we needed and more, the kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and overall the home was so cozy. Location was just right for us, not walking distance to the downtown & shopping area but you are close driving to all the local attractions - Garden of the Gods, Pike’s Peak, trails and more. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and provide awesome recommendations! Thanks for such a wonderful stay 😊

Fabulous Find in Manitou Springs!

Sharon, Smitty and Aaron were the most gracious, helpful and thoughtful hosts! Their VRBO is a beautiful, well appointed home with “extra” touches! It is centrally located to all the tourist attractions and a nice walk to downtown. Plus, there’s a terrific front patio to relax after a busy day of hiking! This place made our vacation picture perfect!

The property managers were the best, super clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and all appliances were new. Great central location, there were deer in the yard most evenings and mornings. There were roads both front and back of the house, quiet in the evenings.

Amazing! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a peaceful, refreshing long weekend away and we got that and more here! Sharon, her husband and sons were extremely kind and welcoming. They immediately showed us around the property making sure we had everything we needed and gave us some awesome recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The house was spacious and bright, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we loved the little patio access right outside the master bedroom! The house has everything you need for a great stay and is located in the perfect location. Highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone! Whenever we come back to Manitou / Colorado Springs we will definitely be staying here.

Snowy Birthday Trip

Loved the house, location and Wonderful owners. Although it snowed the whole time we were there, we enjoyed our time there. Great family time, the fireplace was wonderful. The kitchen was so fully equipped, felt like home.
