Not impressed with hidden charges or lack of response from property manager about issues

Just stayed 9/8-9/10 at the rental address listed above in Jay. We wanted to bring a few things to your attention. We both woke up congested in the mornings of our stay and couldn't figure out why. We'd left early on the 9th and hadn't returned until evening time when we noticed a large amount of white mold behind the master bed. I attached photos to this email. Just wanted to bring this to your attention as it could be an issue for future renters/buyers as we noticed the cabin is listed for sale. The garbage outside has not been collected in some time when we took ours out this morning. Overall, a bit disappointed in our stay after the amount we were charged for cleaning fees.

Great place in the Adirondacks

We used this cabin as a retreat each day after exploring the Adirondacks. It was great! Quiet, off the beaten path, but close(ish) to a lot of options in the northern part of the park.

Great cabin in the woods!

My husband and I, loved our stay here! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed! It even had a dart board in the sunroom that we played every day! Our only issue, which isn't huge at all, was there is a house directly behind it and on the side of it that's not in the pictures. There's trees in between so again not bad! We will definitely stay here again! Also super close to whiteface mountain!

Cozy, charming, and lovely

My girlfriend and I needed a few days in the woods away from it all. The cabin was just as advertised and we couldn't have been happier with it. The immediate area is beautiful and quiet. We hiked through the snow and around the lake just down the road, marveling at the beaver dams. We sat by the fireplace and cooked meals. Nearby Au Sable Forks has a fine grocery store and a fantastic local bar with a pool table and lots of friendly folks. I'm looking forward to renting the cabin for another trip someday soon!

A nice cabin tucked away in the woods

This was a nice property to call home for a few days. Being outside of Lake Placid and Wilmington by 15-30 minutes, it was rather quiet and provided a very nice serene getaway.

Loved this place.

We loved the place, it was in a perfect location to get to Lake Placid and Keene Valley. It was close to all the hiking we liked to do the accomodations were perfect for unwinding after a day out. We loved the screened in porch. The property has lots of great trails to walk and run as well. Would definitely stay again.

The Perfect Adirondack Cabin

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations for an Adirondack vacation! Clean, spacious, and comfortable for adults and children. A safe, private setting in the woods a short walk from Lake Eaton, and a beautiful drive to Lake Placid. The perfect distance away from Lake Placid to get the best of any type of vacation. Our growing family will 100% stay here again without even looking at other options.
