Hawaiian för "Village by the Sea", är Kauhale Makai-komplexet en oceanfront fastighet i Kihei. Detta är en av några byggnader i området med central luftkonditionering - inte fönster enheter. Denna lägenhet är så cool som du gillar det. Kihei är perfekt för familjer, romantiska par eller alla som vill ha avkoppling samt snabb och enkel tillgång till mat och underhållning i världsklass. Kauhale Makai har en volleyboll och gräver på plats, och ligger 5 minuters promenad från offentliga tennisbanor på Luana Kai Resort.

We loved sitting out on the balcony eating breakfast looking at the pool and ocean. Condo decorations were a wonderful beach vibe. Beach chairs, fins, and snorkel were nice to have in room to borrow. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. My daughter had her wedding on a beach while we were in Maui and staying at the condo was convenient for all the activities we did while in Maui. I would recommend staying at this condo.

Perfect location close to amazing beaches and the view is amazing! The hot tub and pool at sunset was a great time. Definitely would stay again!

Great base camp

After spending a couple days at a resort hotel we stayed here. It was a great base camp as the plan was to go explore the island and do stuff. Had everything we needed including a great balcony to have coffee on.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property had everything that it promised. Communication was excellent throughout our rental. My only criticism is that the listing should have been more clear about the laundry facilities. The washer and dryer are in a shared location and take quarters or requires you to download an app to pay. We would rent a piece of paradise here again.

Beautiful location comfortable unit

This was our first time staying here and it really is a hidden gem. Small complex with ocean views. Screen on lanai helps with the afternoon heat, but the AC works fine. Kitchen has everything needed to cook. Quiet, very little noise. Park is right outside lanai.

Just right

For retirees, the bed makes all the difference sometimes and this bed was great! The complex is a bit older, but this unit was nicely updated. Coming from 30 degree weather, we found the bedroom to be a bit too warm with no fan, but overall the unit was just right for us. Close enough to town and beaches, restaurants, just a few minutes from everything.

Family stay in Kihei

Our family spent a week in Kihei. The apartment was great and met all our needs. It had beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear and more for the beach. The only downside was the unit was for sale so we had to leave for a showing and check out early for an inspection.

Marvelous Maui

This accommodation was an exact fit for our VRBO style. There were no deviations or surprises between the property description and what we experienced. Oceanview, beach front in a well cared for quiet spacious one bed room unit. The unit was well furnished and equipped for us to have most of our meals in and enjoy dining on the lanai. The property manager was very communicative. The building super and staff cleaned and maintained the grounds every day. Mahalo!

Wonderful View Condo

As advertised, had everything we needed. Had a minor issue that was adressed immediately. Plenty of beach gear & towels....although still relatively comfortable, the mattress will need to be replaced soon, hump in the middle. Mahalo!MAHALO !

great view

condo has a great view. air conditioning works well, bed was comfortable. kitchen has all you need. not much road noise but lots of noise from the pool. when it was full of kids we kept the sliders shut, not that we were in the condo much. also our bad timing the pool shed beneath us was being rehabbed so some noise, smells and random debris around to look at. we could hear upstairs neighbor walking around but thankfully they were not there for our entire stay. not walkable to any restaurants but one, and no real beach to speak of - i do not know if one could swim there. condo had everything we needed. overall condo was ok.

Vacation

Loved that it was so close to the beach and that chairs and umbrella were provided. A little disappointed that the inside of the unit was not updated and the closet had a lot of sand and dirt in it. The toilet did not flush well and the bathtub drain was very slow.
