This one bedroom villa has a full kitchen, combined living room dining room area and separate bedroom with a queen sized bed and one bathroom. This unit also has a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room and a pair of bunk beds ideal for smaller children. The balcony off the living room area provides a direct view of the ocean.

Each unit in Ocean Dunes has wireless internet service.

The Ocean Dunes, oceanfront pool is now a heated pool which will be open seven days a week all year long. The temperature will be set to 82 degrees, that is the industry standard. The pool hours are from 9AM till sunset.

The Ocean Dunes Complex is an oceanfront property approximately 70 yards from the beach on South Forest Beach Drive and just a short distance from Coligny Plaza and the Coligny Beach Park.

Guests also have access to the Hilton's Oceanside Bar and Grill and Starbucks.

Spring Break Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in condo 114. There are several updates that should be made. The sofa is uncomfortable, as is the bed. There is no coffee table or ottoman which would be convenient to have. The rattan chair was very uncomfortable and old. We love Hilton Head and Vacation Time is always helpful but the condo needs to be updated.

Disappointed with the condition of the unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building has an excellent location, nice pool, grounds and parking lot. The management company staff was nice. The unit and resulting stay, however, were disappointing. The bedroom air conditioner was very noisy and it was difficult to sleep through the night. The television cable box in the bedroom was dangling from the wall and the television did not function well. After it went out and the management company got it working, the service went out the next day and we gave up on watching tv in the bedroom. There was visible mildew and mold in the bathroom, the ceiling fans in the unit had a thick layer of dust and the unit was musty. Although a certain amount of this could be expected late in the season, the overall lack of cleanliness of the unit detracted from the stay. The unit has a kitchen, however, the pots and pans were limited, and the few pots and pans, were for the most part, not usable. The unit, which has an excellent view and location, has potential. It would have been nice if certain issues had been remedied before our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall nice, good experience. We have stayed at this location many times however this was the first time in this unit. Any negatives are simply directed at what might be “end of the summer” wear and tear. The dishes and utensils were missing pieces. A few things like a drawer slide were broke as well as a ceiling fan that you could not change the speed on. All this said, I stay again.

Desperately needs a deep cleaning (would make a big difference), walls/trim covered in black marks/need repair, significant amount of pink and black mold covering the entire bathroom ceiling, gross toilet seat (easy replacement/fix), cheap balcony chairs extremely rusted/need replacing (not unexpected given beachfront location)

Our First Hilton Head Stay

I appreciated the genuine pleasant demeanor of everyone in the office, concierge service when I had questions, and easy access to HHI entertainment for the entire family. We are looking forward to booking for next year and are considering a time share in the future! Will definitely be booking with VTHH again!

Ocean Dunes 114 review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Ocean Dunes numerous times before and love this property. Unit 114 was newly renovated and nicely decorated. A few things were missing, and suggest adding in the future (toaster oven (Jimmy brought one right over!), Cutting board, coffee table in living room, *and no screen on the sliding door to the deck - very much needed. Jimmy and Michael went above and beyond in assisting with what they could. The first floor unit had a nice view of the pool and beyond to the palm trees and the ocean. Higher floors may have a better view, but it was very nice in 95° weather to have the convenience of a first floor unit! Overall it was a great stay, though definitely need the screen on the slider.

Very disappointing

This property was disappointing from the moment we stepped in. The dishwasher did not work, the property has one bathroom and the tub doesn’t drain. The kitchen lacks several basic amenities like a can opener, a corkscrew or a decent pan to cook with. You are provided a single dish towel for an entire week and no working dishwasher so we went out a purchased additional dish towels to use. The bed in the master bedroom could not be more uncomfortable and flimsy. The property was very outdated and terribly disappointing given it cost the same to rent as every other condo in the complex. I would not waste my money renting this condo unless it was deeply discounted and you’re looking for a inexpensive way to be beachfront. This was not the case for us and we certainly did not get what we paid for. If you’re going to have a vacation rental, take pride and show some hospitality to the folks who paid hard earned money to rent it.

Great location, but not updated or very clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great and convenient to the beach. I did not see much for amenities. The unit we stayed in has not been updated. They are small with not a lot of room to store your luggage. The bed was only a full size and was very uncomfortable. The pillows were also poor quality. There was hair on our bathroom floor when we arrived and sticky fingerprints on the cabinets in the kitchen. We did not use the dishwasher because it smelled terrible and looked like it had food or some sort of build up in it. The whole kitchen area smelled bad. The dishes appeared dirty. The shower curtain was stained. Overall the place just did not appear clean.

Heritage weekend @ Ocean Dunes Villa 114

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful villa for a quick weekend getaway! Clean, well stocked, nicely decorated. Master bed & sleeper sofa are both comfortable. Convenient location - easy walk to shops & restaurants at Coligny and the new park. Nice view overlooking pool with the ocean beyond. Pool & grills at the community are very nice and were being enjoyed by lots of visitors. One complaint is that the A/C unit in the den and the master bedroom are both VERY noisy...woke us up each time it cut on during the night. Second night set them to run continuously! Otherwise, very pleased. Would definitely consider staying here again.
