Quiet & Comfortable

Nice Condo, spacious. Just two requests first, either provide coffee filters or have a Keurig instead of a coffee maker. We had to run out and buy a huge package of coffee filters for just 6 days. We also bought pans as the ones in the condo should be replaced. Other than that, we had a great time. Any leftover food can be taken to the fire dept across the street. They were so happy to have it!

Family vacation

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Great view of the dock on one side and water park on the other. The beach was a short walk away.

Weekend stay

The location and amenities of the property were good. The property however was not properly cleaned there was so much dust on one of the ceiling room fans and the baseboard and floors in the first bedroom were full of dust. Better cleaning needs to be required there was a dirty pot in the oven of the kit hen stove and almost all the silverware were dirty. Overall ok but definitely should have been cleaner.

I loved there was a small water park with a bar and lazy river downstairs. Fun for the kids and the adults. Walk across the street and your at the beach. In between you have a handful of restaurants, shops and bars to choose from. Plenty to do without driving if you didn't want to that day

Great location and Accommodations

Overall this place was great and pretty close to what was listed. The location was perfect for going to the water park and beach. The unit has been newly renovated in the recent past and has nice finishes and plenty of seating. Our only issue was the sheets in one of the bedrooms were filthy and had clearly not been washed (crumbs, hair, etc.) We ended up having to stay up late the first night to clean them. Luckily the washer and dryer are in good shape. Other than that I’d recommend.

Great vacation

Great location and very nice condo. We would stay there again. There were a few minor issues- TV and ceiling fan remote controls did not all work. The microwave door handle was broken on arrival. The toaster needs replacing.

Great vacation

We stayed for a week early March. Beautiful place Water park was great Wonderful restaurant and bar connected Clean Fully equipped kitchen Comfortable beds We areived at 0330 and Room key was not in lock box so we could not get into room until sunrise. We finally called the emergency number amd were in the condo in 15 minutes Will return next year 😀

Perfect location

Overall our stay was wonderful. Would just make two small recommendations to Tom. That would be to have the furniture steam cleaned, couches were tainted brown and to add more kitchen supplies. But overall the location, condo and view were amazing. We will definitely stay again here if we come back to Florida. Tom was an excellent host and was very responsive.

Awesome condo!

We had an amazing week in Indian Rocks Beach. This condo is fabulous — so spacious, so convenient to the beach and restaurants, and access to the waterpark was fantastic! Even before our stay, Tom was very responsive when I reached out to him with questions about the condo. He made sure we had everything we needed upon checkin. There was even a few laundry pods, dish soap, coffee, toilet paper, and paper towels to get us threw the first couple days. The condo had lots of little “extras” which helped save us space in our suitcase — beach towels, hair dryer, and games/puzzles for the kids! The waterpark was such a great feature, and perfect for kids of all ages. You can’t go wrong when renting this unit. The view is amazing. I loved sitting on the patio overlooking the water and seeing dolphins swimming, while drinking my coffee every morning. I’ll definitely go back!

Amazing Florida Trip for the whole family

Family of eight with kids 18 down to 6. All the kids loved it! 4 TV’s with HDMI and cable were great. Enough room for everyone. Great to have all the new appliances. The four passes to the water park were perfect since not everyone wanted to go every day, but since extra tickets are half off for renters, we had days where everyone went! Great views of the harbor where we even spotted dolphins several times, then out the front our view of the Gulf was incredible. A quick two block walk to the beach, and Jake’s Coastal Cantina located 2 min away with amazing food and great service were also great amenities. The only downfall of the trip was the lack of appliances in the kitchen. Only a toaster and coffee makers were available (and we don’t drink coffee). No hand mixer, griddle or crockpot to speak of. Plenty of cups and dishes though. The bunk room didn’t have any flat sheets either, so the fleece blankets at the end of the beds were used but also hot, flat sheets would have been nice. Plenty of towels for showers and beach towels for the water park. Overall had a great experience, would definitely return and recommend!

Great location, condo could use some work

While our stay was nice( location was nice and kids enjoyed the water park) I do have to mention a few things. Our feet were constantly black after walking on the floor. I am positive that the floor was not mopped prior to our arrival. The mattress in the master was indented from overuse, definitely needed to be replaced. I was charged a damage deposit but was told it was a non refundable stocking fee instead.This would’ve been ok but not much was stocked. We were given one trash bag( the one in already in the garbage) and not even one laundry pod to do a load of laundry(looked everywhere),not even to wash the towels before you leave. Also, if charged a stocking fee some paper plates and a full roll of paper towel would’ve been nice. One last thing, I do not recommend staying here if you have toddlers. The door to the balcony can easily be opened. Other places I have stayed have had alarms on the balcony doors. Tom was very nice but I just think the condo could use some work.

Fun family location

Overall we loved staying here! The waterpark was so much fun for my kids and we loved being so close to the beach. Space was this was perfect for our family of 5 plus grandparents. There were just a few things that kept this from being 5 stars. Communication was kind of hard. I’m used to communicating with rentals through the actual vrbo app but they wanted communication through their rental property management. This made the process a lot slower. I had asked if there would be a pack and play. Took a couple days to answer but finally both the owners and rental company said no. Totally ok and we decided to rent one. We spent $100 to rent one and when we got there we found a pack and play stored in the closet. Kind of frustrating that they didn’t know they had one and we spent money we didn’t need to. The main tv also did not work. They had other TVs but still it was annoying. There was a washer and dryer but not detergent offered. You cant buy travel detergent so this was annoying as well. Though the washer was pretty moldy and gross so maybe a blessing there was no detergent so my clothes didn’t get grosser by being washed in it. The hand soap option was pretty terrible too (if it was even hand soap it just said cleaning bar and was a very small disc shape) Honestly I’d stay here again and just lower my expectations next time about what to bring with me.

Great location - Very Poor Maintained/Dirty Unit

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the location but the complex and unit had many issues, which I will list below:Complex Issues:1. Only 1 (very show & hot) elevator to get to the 7th floor. It got very crowded, creating long delays.2. The only include 1 parking spot for 10 person unit under the garage. The other parking space was a long walk on the other side of the water park.3. The pool was not available until 6:00 without purchasing water park passes.Here are the issues with the unit itself:1. Very dirty. We ended up using clorox wipes to clean all surfaces. Our feet were black after walking on the tile & carpet without shoes.2. The unit overall was very poorly maintained. I will go into this in greater detail below.3. The refrigerator took almost 24 hours to cool and never went below 40 degrees.4. The showers had very little water pressure.5. The shower sliding door was difficult to move because it was off track.6. The bathroom door lock did not work so kids were constantly coming in at bad times.7. The unit only included 4 water park passes for a 10 person unit requiring us to pay $88.00 for the additional passes daily.8. The carpets were separating in several areas.9. The couches and chairs were in very poor condition and stained/dirty.10. The beds were uncomfortable. 11. The towels were stained.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will first say the rental location was great and the waterpark access was a perk. But unfortunately everything else was pretty disappointing. The property was relatively dirty when we arrived. Food stains on the tile floor, crumbs in the living area and under the coffee table, and an empty condom wrapper sticking out from under the night stand. The baseboards and walls also had random stains and dried on substances.Nearly all the upholstery in the living room was worn and stained. The condo was also very warm and the sign posted to not turn AC below 72 was disappointing. Had trouble sleeping it was so warm in the unit. The water pressure was terrible. The cold water in one of the bathrooms was a mere trickle. We all ended up sharing the larger bathroom for showering because the water pressure in the other bathroom was too weak to rinse out shampoo etc.The sheets were like sandpaper and combined with the constant warm temp in the condo it was just a very uncomfortable experience. I also called the property rental company before arrival and asked if beach chairs, cooler and wagon were available as the original listing said they were. Whoever I spoke with told me those things were no longer available so we rented them and had them delivered. Only to find when we arrived all those items were in fact at the condo in a storage closet so we wasted money on rentals. However, we were there for the beach and it was gorgeous. The location was perfect.Everything else truly failed to meet our expectations. Would not recommend or choose to stay in the property again unfortunately.

We Fell In LOVE With Indian Rocks Beach!!!

If you are looking for a true “chill beach town” with all the local amenities...look no further!! We came down with another family and this unit was perfect for the 9 of us! We spent our week visiting everything from Clearwater, to Tampa, to St Pete’s and really found that out best time we’re right in IRB! Love all the eateries and shops and beach without the over commercialization like Clearwater! Some of our favorite stops/activities/eateries: SLYCE Pizza (had it twice...YUM), Caddy’s Restaurant, Jake’s Coastal Cantina (we ate here twice too) Smugglers Cove mini golf in Indian Shores, Tampa Zoo, Clearwater Aquarium, John’s Pass, Little Toot Dolphin Cruise in Clearwater, Alligator & Wildlife Discovery Center in John’s Pass PROs of the unit: LOCATION!!!! We were a short walk to the most beautiful beach that was never over crowded! The outdoor space was amazing! We spent hours out there after all the kids were in bed just relaxing. We loved watching the activity during the day down by the marina and we’re lucky enough to see a few sting ray, some manatees and even a few dolphins! The unit has plenty of space to really sprawl out. The kids loved the bunk room and spent most of the indoor time in there in the make shift fort they made. The water park was a blast for the kids and adults. The weekend we got there it was insanely busy but during the week there was hardly anyone there! The owner of the unit Tom was awesome as well! We had an issue with our key early on (batteries died on the door lock) and he was over to help us out within 5 minutes! CONs of the unit: (These are a major stretch because none of these were dealbreakers at all!!) Storage was an issue. Since we were there for a whole week we wanted to unpack - unfortunately only the master had a dresser and nightstand. So one of the family’s had to live out of suitcases for the week. The shower doors in the main bath were super difficult to move and we kept having an issue with the toilet. The flushing mechanism kept coming lose in the tank - easy fix but it was annoying! The only other thing that really stuck out was the elevator. There was one elevator in our side of the building for 8 floors so there were times we had to wait longer than 5 minutes for it to get to us. Overall we had an amazing trip! We will definitely be back and hope to try out some of Tom’s other properties!

Nice getaway

My initial contact with Tom the owner was wonderful, personable and it stayed that way through our entire stay. He responded promptly and worked with us on recommendations, and suggestions of the area. We arrived and the condo is exactly as it appears. Beautifully decorated, towels, beach towels, and nicely appointed kitchen with plenty of appliances, dishes etc.. When you fly in for a short stay, you are at a disadvantage for items for eating and beach. We ended up buying beach chairs (which we left) and ate out most meals. For a short stay, the condo is wonderful with plenty of eateries within walking distance, and we chose to not do the big grocery run but they are nearby as well. For long term stays, I would imagine its a bit easier especially if you drive and bring alot with you. We tried LuLus and some other places but best prices were at Crabby Bills, a short walk from condo. They serve breakfast and dinners well into late night. Good good, and service and if you like a dive atmosphere with great prices and food, try them. The condo is a short walk to the beach. And we knew that going in. If you are traveling with young children or need to use a restroom, there are no public restrooms on the beaches closest to condo. and its not like you can watch them from the front porch. You won't have a view of the beach, but you do of the gorgeous waterway and boats below. We did use the waterpark, which you get passes for, but it is a separate entity, so again, more with young children, you leave the condo parking area to walk around to the entrance. It is well laid out, clean, and has a snack area. The Holiday Inn is next door where they have a restaurant and a rum shack, but you do need to walk to that outside of condo as well. Tom was amazing and he spelled everything out for us, so we were prepared with what the pictures conveyed and where the beach and restaurants were. We traveled with college aged children so we felt safe about them walking back when necessary. But having had young kids at one point, I can see where renting beachfront, if you love the beach is better. There is a public parking area with limited spots and one day we did drive the short distance just so we could bring chairs and a cooler. The condo had high chair and some items that would make life easier for sure with younger children. Tom will answer all your questions and we would recommend his place to anyone. He takes great care and is a great owner to work with. Enjoy.

Gillade: Incheckning, kommunikation och plats

Spacious condo; excellent for families

We (4 adults & 2 young children) enjoyed the amenities offered at Harbourside Condomiums. The unit itself was well laid out and quite spacious. Linens and starter supplies were plentiful; bathroom towels looked new and were plush. I was however disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the Unit and thought the marketing of it as “completely remodeled” was not accurate IMO. Pots & pans quite old and need replacing. Same with utensils. All tables and leather seating had to be wiped down in order to use it without getting your clothes stuck to the seats. Kitchen sink, faucet, drain/garbage disposal are old and have hard water crust around various elements. I purchased cleanser and rubber gloves and went to work scrubbing the entire kitchen the best I could. Lastly, I’m guessing the furnace/air filters haven’t been changed in many months as there was black dust on the floors (the floors otherwise were very nice!) and baseboards. We vacuumed every morning and mopped most evenings, but the black dust would just accumulate again. All of us took to wearing black socks when inside in order to keep the bottoms of our feet clean. Oh and the place was in need of new pillows for the beautiful leather sectional as well as new throw blankets for cooler evenings watching TV. For very little money, the 3 totally disgusting, threadbare area rugs should be replaced. IMO whatever the owners are paying to have the unit cleaned is too much! We loved our stay and would do so again, if clean.❤️

Very nice property

Loved this condo, view, location & water park. Great restaurants near by. Friendly staff at the property! The upholstery on all furniture was very dirty. The master bedroom mattress NEEDS TO BE REPLACED! The masters bedroom closet was full of “junk”. Couldn’t even hang clothes in it. Master bedroom TV would not shut off. A/C was not working properly. Said it was 72, but was actually 76

Great location

Very spacious and clean. Loved the pool, close and easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Great Location for young kids

We stayed here for a short spring break getaway and the property did not disappoint. It was clean and plenty of space for a family of 4 and the water park access was a hit for our kids. The view of the waterway was very enjoyable as well and the walk to the beach was easy. We even forgot a bag in the condo after we left for the airport and Tom was extremely helpful shipping our bag to us. We would stay hear again.
