VIKTIGA ANTECKNINGAR!! Läs våra nattliga krav nedan innan du begär en bokning !! Denna fastighet har renoverats från studsarna! Renoveringen slutfördes i december 2017! När du bor här kommer vi att ha toppen av raden apparater, finish, helt nya möbler, nya diskar, nya badrum, etc.
Detta är en underbar, ljusfylld bostad belägen inom Northstar och några minuter från Truckee. Vi har just dekorerade den med helt nya, top of the line möbler och bekvämligheter. Allt i huset är helt ny (inklusive barrel) och redo för din njutning. Denna plats är perfekt för par, familjer (med barn), och sammankomster. Huset ligger i slutet av en återvändsgränd och din trädgård är skogen med vackra tallar och avskildhet. Det finns en stor, privat badtunna inbäddat i träden som du kan använda för att koppla av efter en dag med skidåkning eller vandring. Tompkins Memorial Trail ligger 20 meter bort!

VIKTIGA ANMÄRKNINGAR: Vi har en lägsta vistelse på en vecka från 22 december till 8 januari samt för Thanksgivingveckan och fjärde juli. Vi har en 5 nätters vistelse för skidveckan, från 15 februari till 26 februari. De flesta semesterhelger kräver ett fyra nätterminimum, vilket inkluderar presidentens dag och minnesdagen. Det finns ett tre natt minimum annars.
Det är super lätt att nå sluttningarna eller Northstar matsal. En gratisbuss kommer till din dörr och plockar du upp. Resan tar bara några minuter. Du kan använda samma shuttle att komma tillbaka till huset på din fritid. Du behöver INTE din bil när du är i huset för att gå till byn eller centrum.
I detta hus, kommer du att hitta helt nya sängar, nya madrasser (inte crummy gamla du hittar i andra lägenheter !!), Helt nya möbler, helt nya badtunna som backar upp till en vacker skog, helt ny tvättmaskin / torktumlare, en stor platt-TV med en Apple TV och mycket mer. Ingen kostnad har sparats.

Sovrum (rum 1) och rummet nere (rum 2) har alla ett eget badrum. Dessutom finns det en hel hall bad på bottenvåningen och en hel hall badrum på övervåningen. - totalt fyra badrum (två badrum och två hall bad).
Du kommer att ha tillgång till Rec Center. Rec Center erbjuder gästerna tillgång till tre pooler (poolen öppen året runt), två badtunnor, torrbastu, fitnessanläggning, spel / arkad rum, tennisbanor, sommarläger och kliniker, boccia boll och basket, naturstig, barn lekplats, massage, bada lektioner och sommaraktiviteter för daglig gäst-pris. Gratis shuttles går mellan Northstar Homes och Village Center.
Viktigt: Ägaren är allvarligt allergisk mot husdjur. Så absolut inga husdjur tillåtna.

Great space for groups - Summer trip

Perfect Stay in Truckee

The home is well appointed with everything you need for a nice stay in Truckee. The neighborhood is quiet with great views. The bedrooms are spacious and the living/dining area is perfect for families. We loved our time in this lovely home!

Very nice home and amenities, great location and comfortably accommodated our family of 13. Spent most of our time on the lake and rivers (boating, fishing or rafting), hiking or in the mountains and sightseeing. Our host was accessible, responsive and accommodating. Couldn’t have had a better time.

Perfect for Hikers and Active Guests

Great home with a big common area and big dining table! The house was right next to a trail system that took you to all the Northstar amenities. Big garage to store bikes, plenty of beach towels. Nice big deck with large fire pit. Great place for sure!

Comfortable, Convenient, and Exceptional Hospitality

My family and I had a wonderful experience during our stay at this incredible home! The location is simply perfect, situated in a quiet area, yet close(5-15 min) to all the conveniences we needed. We were able to easily explore the local attractions and enjoy the beauty of the region. The house itself is impeccable. Every detail was thought out to provide comfort and convenience. The bedrooms are spacious The kitchen was fully equipped, which was great for preparing our family meals. The living room was the perfect place to relax after a day of activities, and the high-speed Wi-Fi was an additional bonus. The host was exceptional from the moment we made the booking. Always available to answer any questions and ensure we had everything we needed. The attention to detail and hospitality went above and beyond, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place with a wonderful host. We will definitely be returning on future visits!

Lovely time in Northstar

My family and I spent a week in Bora's house in January and we had a great time. The house is comfortable and very well situated close to Northstar. Although we could drive the 5mn to the ski slopes, we chose to use the resort shuttle and that worked really well for us. The house has an amazing heating system that does not dry up the air and I have to say it made a lot of difference to us. The hot tub was really appreciated after our long ski days too! The house had all the amenities necessaries and Bora, Barb and Sheeva were very helpful the whole time (we only had one minor problem during our stay with the internet being down- in the whole region- and I was rapidly answered). The only squibble I had was that I would have appreciated a little more extra thought in the kitchen, with real glass glasses for instance (not acrylic) and better kitchen knives (the ones at the house are a little dull). But that did not diminish the great time we had there! PS: the house has a beautiful view to the pine trees with big and tall windows! It was really striking in the morning with the snow covered trees.

Summer Family Vacation

My family and I stayed in Truckee, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located near the Northstar village shops and restaurants, scenic hikes, north Lake Tahoe, and many other beautiful attractions. During our stay the owner of the home was very responsive. The coffee maker on-site was broken and when informed a new maker and coffee grounds were delivered to the door within the day. We greatly appreciated the promptness. We also loved that the home had air conditioning - big perk during warmer months. During the day, the upstairs portion of the house would become warm with summer temps, but we were able to quickly cool the area with the air conditioning. It worked wonderfully! When we arrived the trash was completely full. Per the house instructions, you are responsible for trash. The owner was unable to find someone to remove the trash, so we took ours to the dump rather than leaving it in the garage as instructed. The home appeared clean. However, if you are anything like my family you’ll notice the dust, condition of the rugs, and comforters. The home would benefit from a very deep cleaning. Also, please be aware of the cancellation policy prior to booking. You cannot cancel or change your reservation. Additionally, there is a $1,000.00 deposit that is required. I’ve stayed at many vrbos and have not had to pay this in the past. Though the amount was refunded to my account after our stay, it made me worry when I saw the charge initially.

Great Place

Awesome location and a big house. Comfortably slept 5 couples ( own rooms ). Nice open dining room and living room with an A.C. fan so we were kept cool. Fun deck to hang out on with lots of seating. Only issue was when we checked in at 4:00 pm the cleaners were still there so we had to wait with our party outside for a bit but it did work out.

A great home for all groups and families!

Our experience at 1122 Martis Landing was phenomenal! The house is centrally located to most restaurants, activities, and mountains. Martis Landing accommodated our group to 11 adults with absolutely no issues, plenty of space for all! Esther was great! She kept in constant communications and her hospitality was superb! Highly recommended rental, great location!

We had a wonderful weekend here. The place is located right in the Northstar property. Super convenient. All the bedrooms were large and comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!!!!!

Wonderful Property to enjoy the snow!

We visited December 15th 2021 for one week. 9 adults and 3 children. The property was beautiful as the pictures show. It is in a nice community in a cul-de-sac. The house is up to date and everything worked without a problem. We did not have much communication with the property manager as everything was in order. It is very nicely kept and the owner is very adamant you maintain it that way. At times it was a little worrisome as the floors are wood and you worry the snow might damage it. It could use a mud room when you return from skiing with more hooks for ski clothes. The deck and backyard look into the woods which was covered in snow. Kids enjoyed sledding in the back while the adults enjoyed the fire pit. There are walking the trails around the property as well which is nice for those who did not ski. The transportation shuttle takes you to the resort and is very convenient. The room layout is great with two master rooms with bathrooms. There is enough room for everyone to be comfortable and each one with there own bed. Clothing was a little bit of an issue as not enough hangers and not much drawer space. Overall we had a spectacular stay and would recommend this property for a family ski vacation. North Star resort is beautiful and downtown Truckee is an old town and all lit up for Christmas.

The house was really dirty. We wasted the entire afternoon and night waiting to get in the house. t.

When we got there in the afternoon the house was not cleaned from the pervious guests. We had it contact the mangers and had to wait to get in the house until 9:30 PM. We had a work afternoon and evening set and all the food purchased. Not able to utilize time nor the food. It was quite upsetting to start the work conference that way and for sure messed u the rest of the set activities planned.

All the Comforts of Home

My family has stayed at many rentals in Tahoe and I have to say this was the most well stocked cabin we have ever stayed at. Every utensil you could ever want and good quality pots and pans. The only kitchen issue we had was that the refrigerator was a little small for 10 people and there was not an extra refrigerator in the garage. The beds were very comfortable and it is very quiet there. Overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would rent this place again.

Beautiful home to have a nice quiet vacation in!

The property was overall great to vacation in! The home was in a quiet location, very clean and our host was very responsive and did their very best to accommodate our needs. It does get quite warm with the summer months but there was fan for each room and suggestions on how to keep the house cool as much as possible as these homes are made for winter months. We had a great time and would book here in the future! Thanks for the hospitality!

Delightful stay during 4th of July week!!!

Background: I stayed with a group of seven girlfriends the week of the 4th of July. Pros: Exquisite home, great location, VERY clean, new appliances, comfortable bedding. The wifi network was strong and able to handle multiple connected devices and Zoom meetings. The home is at the end of a cul-de-sac so it felt very private. There is also a trail right next to the house if you like to hike. Bora has thought of every amenity including little details like the body wash included in each bathroom and detailed instructions on how to use the hot tub. Cons: My understanding is that this is very typical in the area, but there is no AC. Incidentally, I believe that we stayed during one of the hottest weeks this year in the Tahoe area. Fortunately, the property manager gave us tips on how to cool the house down and we were fine as did not go to Tahoe in July to stay in the house all day! Suggestions to Owner: I would add a page to your instructions about how to cool down in the event that you have more extremely hot weather. Tips for Travelers: There are not many options for Uber/Lyft, especially when trying to schedule to go the airport so we really suggest renting a car, especially if you want to explore the area. In addition, there also weren't many food delivery options so I would plan to stop in Reno or Truckee for food/groceries. Bottom line: My group was very pleased with our stay and I would definitely stay again when we return to the Tahoe area! I am an experienced traveler, having been to many beautiful places in the world and would heartily recommend Bora's wonderful home without reservation.
