Om boendet

Kom och bo på vår bedårande sommarstuga, belägen i vackra Narragansett, RI! Detta familjevänliga hus har 3 drottnings sovrum och ett badrum som uppdaterades 2016. Varje sovrum och vardagsrummet har väggmonterade stora platt-TV-apparater, alla med tillgång till NetFlix. Huset har också WiFi. OBS: Sängkläder (lakan och handdukar) ingår inte i hyran, men kan vara tillgängliga att hyra mot en extra avgift. Kontakta mig om du är intresserad.

Köket är fullt utrustat med alla bekvämligheter! Den har ett kylskåp i full storlek, gasspis / ugn, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, kaffekanna och mixer. Det har gott om krukor och kastruller, bestick, olika köksredskap, liksom gott om disk och silver.

Vår stuga är perfekt för familjer! Det ligger nära en lekplats, tennis- och basketplaner och ett baseballfält. Vi tillhandahåller barnvänliga spel och leksaker för din användning när du bor hemma.

Vårt hus ligger bara en kort promenad eller snabb körning till Scarborough State Beach, en kort bilresa till den barn- / familjevänliga Roger Wheeler State Beach eller Narragansett Town Beach.

Huset har central luftkonditionering för din sömnkomfort efter en varm dag på stranden. Det finns en fantastisk trädgård för barnen att leka när du lagar middag eller grillar på bakgårdsgasens BBQ-grill. Däck har ett bord, stolar och ett stort paraply för avkoppling. Det finns också en stor eldstad: perfekt för att koppla av efter en lång dag med kul i solen!

Uteduschen har både varmt och kallt vatten; perfekt för att tvätta bort sanden från en dag på stranden.

Släpp i din kajak, gå i kajak eller titta på de underbara solnedgångarna över Salt Pond, precis nedför gatan.

Vårt hus har ett öppet koncept vardagsrum, kök och matsal.

Det nyrenoverade badrummet har ett badkar i full storlek och har en helt ny tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Sunset Farms, som ligger precis nere på gatan, är en utmärkt plats att plocka upp lokalt kött och producera till grillen, samt ved för vår eldstad i trädgården.

Bondens marknad på Fisherman's Memorial Campground på söndagar är en annan stor resurs för lokala produkter, kött, ägg och andra handgjorda lokala godsaker.

Narragansett Pier har en utmärkt grupp butiker och restauranger. Nana's Ice Cream och TRIO-restaurang är personliga favoriter!

Great Little Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely beach house

We loved our stay here and the house had everything we needed. It was handy to have a coffee shop and diner nearby and you can even walk to the beach. We will definitely come back to the area.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay, we had all the conveniences of home and the neighborhood is so nice , just a short car trip of 5 minutes to Scarborough beach ! We got some much needed rest , just what the doctor ordered :)

Beach time

The spacious house was full of natural light, well equipped and very comfortable. Our hosts were great! They were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. After a day of sun and swim, the home has a lovely outdoor patio space to shower, dine and later relax by the fire stove. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip!

Fun in Narragansett!

The house was exactly as described and the neighborhood was very nice and friendly. The house was clean and a little larger than I thought. Plenty of the essentials and the patio was very nice with a new grill. No negatives. The hosts were awesome and made sure we were up and running. Thanks Megan!

Summer Girls Getaway

Property is at an ideal location. Close to beaches and shops. Clean, nice open concept and well cared for. Nice outdoor shower enjoyed by all. Only qualm needs dishwasher or deeper kitchen sink. Would definitely stay there again!

The home had everything we wanted.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It had central air, celing fans in all the bedrooms., also tvs in all the bedrooms. It also had updated bathroom with new washer and dryer. It also had spacious back yard with fire pit which we enjoyed. Called Megan home owner with question, and was very helpful, hope to stay there next year!

Stop looking. You’ve found the perfect spot for a vacation at the beach. Gracious, helpful hosts. Comfortable, cute home with amenities galore. Close to beaches, restaurants. We spent June 2023 there, and we had to tear ourselves away. Book it! You’ll be glad you did.

Wonderful stay!

We loved this house! The house is clean and cozy and was perfect for our family of four. Our kids (2 and 5) loved having a tv in the bedrooms and the toys/books that Megan left were an added bonus! We packed up a wagon to pull our beach stuff and the kids and we’re able to walk to Scarborough beach which we visited several times. The location is great for exploring the area too! We drove into Newport a couple of times and over to mystic, ct. Did an afternoon in watch hill RI, it was cute with little shops, lighthouse, and an old merry go round. Our kids loved Adventureland that was right down the road and the moo moo ice cream shop. We placed a pick up order for groceries at stop and shop on the way down and had everything in the house we needed for cooking in. The area is beautiful and we hope to come back, would definitely recommend Megan’s house!

Cozy cute and clean... excellent location

The house was charming, spotless, and just what we needed for the weekend. We were here for the URI graduation and the house was exactly what we needed for my husband and I, my mother, my sister, and my son. The porch was a lovely place to eat breakfast, drink coffee in the sunshine. Some things we missed were kitchen towels/ pot holders/ a corkscrew. The step out to the back porch is very high. There should be another step. There was a nice grill provided, but the cap of the propane tank was impossible to open. Seemed like it was rusted shut. The bedrooms were great. I knew I had to bring sheets, but I was told that blankets would be provided. We found no blankets, just the bedspread on each bed. So the nights were chilly. I was hoping there would be instructions for the tv in the living room. We couldn't figure it out. Other than these small things (which are easy fixes) this house was the perfect place for us. Also, the owners were available to contact any time we had a question. They live very close by if you need anything. I had the pleasure of meeting Megan and her adorable family, and they were so lovely, so accommodating. We could check in early and check out late. We would absolutely go back!!! I really hated to leave. Thanks, Megan!

Great start to summer!

Great cottage to share with family and friends for the start of summer! House was clean and check-in was super easy. Megan was helpful and responded quickly to questions about the TV. Short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the sunny deck, fire pit, and, of course, the outdoor shower.

My husband and I are Rhode Islanders: I was born and raised here; my husband went to URI and never went home. Loving Narragansett so much, we decided to settle down here to raise our family and are happy to call this great town our hometown!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have owned this home for many years; we called it 'home' for many years before starting a family. My children have enjoyed vacationing at 'the Durkin house' (as they call it) and we have loved building fond summer memories with them there. Narragansett is a wonderful town for summer vacations, with its many beaches, playgrounds, parks and festivals.

The house is a perfect getaway from wherever you may come from. It's close to the beach, but can also be a great place to relax, whether in the backyard or on the cozy couch with a cold drink, just knowing you're near the beach. We hope you enjoy this home as much as we do!
