Skapa varaktiga sommarminnen .... få en tradition av semestrar i vår härliga badstuga vid havet. Vårt hem, som sover 8 bekvämt, har 3 sovrum och 1 badrum. Förbered dig på att njuta av de färska havbrisen och ljudet från vågor som kraschar på stranden medan du kopplar av på vår veranda eller medan du njuter av din mussla bakar på uteplatsen.

Stugan ligger en kort 5 minuters promenad till den önskvärda Sand Hill Cove-stranden och en 5 minuters bilresa till Scarborough Beach. Allt är här för din enkla semester: fullt utrustat kök, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, TV / DVD, luftkonditionering, picknickbord, gasgrill, spel, strandstolar / leksaker och en utomhusdusch med varmt och kallt vatten. Njut av ett brett utbud av aktiviteter i området inklusive vattensporter, golf och fiske.

Andra höjdpunkter inkluderar: Newport, Point Judith-fyren, hamnen i Galilee där du kan njuta av färsk fisk och skaldjur, den närliggande Block Island Ferry och Narragansett Pier.

Sand Hill Cove is the best!

Stayed at this house when I was a teenager, stayed again this year with my son and grandchildren, and made some wonderful new memories. House was comfortable and convenient. Nice neighborhood for walks.

Great house for a family, great beach for kids!

This was our daughter's first trip to the ocean and Roger Wheeler beach around the corner was perfect for her. Shallow water, not too rough and warm water in July. The house was perfectly located for a short walk down to the beach, with her in the wagon the owners provided. It was exactly the sort of place we wer looking for with the 3 of us, Grandma and Grandpa and brother and girlfriend. Close enough walk to several casual seafood places and we walked to the Block Island ferry for a day trip too! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Beach Vacation

We had a great stay. The location was very close to the beach. We were able to walk with all of our gear and our three kids (with the help of the wagon in the garage). It was also just a short drive to the ferry to Block Island, as well as a few restaurants. The house was clean and well appointed , though on the older side in terms of kitchen/bathroom/appliances. The outside shower looked newer and was very nice. The property itself was well maintained and our kids played in the yard and road their scooters around the quiet neighborhood.

Great space

We had a great time. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. The outdoor seating area was perfect and the ability to walk to the beach in 5 minutes was so welcome this week. Hope to stay here again next summer.

Perfectly located

A perfectly situated home within a short walk to the beach that is ideal for families. House is tidy and has a rustic charm. While hosts were wonderful, check-in was easy and cleaning was adequate, for the price point the mattresses in the home need replacing, particularly in the bunk beds. House could use some updates throughout but just right for a relaxed week at the beach.

Great stay

We had a great two week stay. The location was great. We were easily able to walk to the beach as well as several restaurants. It worked perfectly to be able to go back to the house for naps and not have to deal with putting them in and out of the car.

Great little cottage close to beach

Overall we had a great vacation in this cottage. Great communication from owners, and a short walk to Roger Wheeler Beach. Bring extra fans to help out the two wall a/c units.

Perfect Location

Great property with everything you need. Close to beach, an easy walk. House has good space inside, an outdoor shower and a great patio with picnic tables. We especially enjoyed early mornings and sunsets sitting on the front porch.

Nice Area

This house is cute, not too big I thought and not too small. landscape nice, things needed and wanted were available for us. Just a short walk to the beach and the wagon really came in handy. Not far from the ferry to Block Island and great seafood restaurants. Hope to rent again.

Sweet little house

Located on a very quiet street, truly a 5 minute stroll to a clean, kid friendly beach. This is a sweet, well appointed house. The patio is a good hang out space, shielded from the street. Well cared for, beautiful flowering landscaping. We loved our stay with our daughters and young grand kids.

Good house in a nice place

House has many cooking and cleaning supplies, and would accommodate a family if 4 plus grandparents. The beach is down the street, and Point Judith attractions and 1A coastline towns are easy to get to. I would stay here again.

Great place to vacation with two little ones!

We stayed here at the end of July/early August with our almost 3 year old and 1 year old. Everything was wonderful and we had a blast. The location couldn’t have been better to walk to Roger Wheeler Beach, which was convenient for napping and taking a break from the heat. The outdoor patio was perfect for grilling and eating out. Since we have some early risers, we often enjoyed a 15-20 minute walk to Galilee to get coffee and watch the ferries come in and out. It was a hot and humid week, so the air conditioner was a welcome amenity. However, some nights the house cooled off just from the ocean breeze. The owners were very easy to work with and the house was well stocked. Hoping to be back next summer!

Wonderful BEACH house, SHORT walk

This was a great place to stay with an authentic beach house feel. We were within a couple of minutes walk to one of the best beaches in RI. The Phillipis were great hosts. The house stays cool, even without the air conditioning. Highly recommend it!

Perfect for our family with two small kids

We had a fantastic time at this beach cottage. A few minutes away from the beach which was excellent for small children. Central location for driving trips to Newport or Watch Hill. House had everything we needed. Toys and beach toys were awesome for the kids. Wagon to pull beach toys/chairs/umbrellas was a key to our beach outings. Lobster pot was great, actually went home not interested in eating lobster for awhile. Even used the kite on a windy day. Plan to return in the future!

Charming Beach House Perfect for Relaxing Vacation

This was my family's second year renting this house and we loved it even more the second time around. The house is just minutes from the local beaches, great restaurants and plenty for the family to do! The house is equipped with everything you would need for an amazing week including a grill, washer/dryer, beach chairs and an amazing outdoor shower. The owner's were very friendly, welcoming and responsive when we had questions. Thank you for welcoming us at your amazing home!

Rhode Island 2015

Once again we had a great time at the rental property in Rhode Island. The house is always clean, neat and the flowers in bloom. Thank you owner for adding the nice touch of chocolate and coffee. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and relative as long as they don't take our week!! lol! The weather was great we even tried kayaking this year and will definitely do it again next year.

Perfect: location, clean and all the amenities

This was our first stay at the cottage ( which is really a good size) but I suspect it will not be the last. Being from RI I always wanted to rent near Sand Hill Cove aka Roger Wheeler beach. It is the quietest and calmest of the area beaches. The location could not have been better; lovely street and nice walk to beach. Galilee also nice walking distance for mornings or just to see sunset and have some ice cream. The house itself was exactly what I expected and so clean! Especially loved the outdoor shower and laundry facilities. It had everything we could think of needing from a lobster pot to fans and a beach umbrella. Owners were a pleasure to work with.

The Perfect Setting for a Family Reunion

Once again we had a wonderful time in Rhode Island. The location was perfect for going to the beach and visiting with friends and family who also rented in the area. We are able to bring our motorcycle along with the cars because there is ample parking withte circular driveway. Thehouse has everything we need - that is why we have come back for 4 years in a row.

Great for families

We were pleasantly surprised with the cottage when we arrived for our vacation this Summer. Not only was it just steps to the beach but it was situated in a neighborhood that was quiet and beautifully landscaped. The owners had chocolate and coffee waiting for us when we arrived which was a nice touch. The cottage had plenty of space for our family and a nice yard to sit out and relax in. The owners were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely consider this house again.

3 Years back to back

This house is the place to be for a small get away vacation. It is in a great location for one, only a couple minutes walk to the beach, and only a short drive or even a walk from very good restaurants. Every attraction around is easily accessible from this house. For the house itself. It is very well kept, it is cozy and has plenty of space if you have a larger group. It is great for kids as! Fully functioning kitchen, great beds, and the air conditioning is superb if it gets to warm. This is a great place to be so if you are looking this place is a place to check out!

Our family of 5 has lived in RI for nearly 18 years and has taken full advantage of the local beaches! Now that our 3 girls are older, they love to take to the waves with their boogie boards or just hit the beach for some sunbathing. Visit our website at narragansettbeachcottage.com.

Varför värden valde detta boende

A particularly nice feature of our cottage is that it has retained that 'beach cottage charm' and the neighborhood has its own 'quiet and relaxed beach vibe'-many other families renting in the area, walking to the beach, riding bikes, walking to nearby Iggy's or other restaurants. The cottage is also half a block away from a great family beach with all the amenities - but also a 5 minute walk back to the house if little ones have had enough :)

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We are particularly proud of our landscaping, with many blooms throughout the spring and summer. The outdoor patio is enjoyed by so many and has been host to numerous family clambakes. There is ample parking so if you wish to invite friends for the day or for an afternoon barbecue, the parking is there. The outdoor shower is also a great plus after a day at the beach!
