Villa 34 ligger nära stranden och gränsar till marken för den 5-stjärniga Bald Head Island Club och golfbana hål # 18. Klubben erbjuder en vacker golfbana, croquet greenerwards, tennisbanor, gym, pool och lekplats, läger och program för barn, såväl som avslappnad och god mat. Medlemskap i BHI-klubben kan köpas separat. Nattuthyrning inkluderar inte städning eller tillfälligt medlemskap och debiteras separat.

Du kan fiska från din gungstol på lägre nivå däck, observera golf och krokett från huvudnivån däck, eller titta på fartygsaktivitet på floden och havet från det övre däck. Vilda djur observationer är tillgängliga från alla ovanstående!

Great BHI Getaway

The property was exactly what we were looking for to have a relaxing long weekend at Bald Head. Great location with easy access to everything we were looking to do. Thanks for a great trip. We look forward to coming back again!

Annual family BHI trip.

Renting 8 Days a Week was a breeze. The Villa was perfect for us and the unit provided more helpful items that other rentals we’ve had through the years did not. We will be staying here next summer!!

Very comfortable

The house was very well appointed, loved the bar and outside furniture. It’s in a great location with great views of pond and golf course. It is very close to beach access. Also loved the outdoor shower.

Great

We were on the island for a wedding weekend. It was perfect for two couples and we could have had a third comfortably. The golf course view was beautiful and tranquil and it was right across the street from south beach. The villa was nicely decorated and appointed , and check in/checkout was simple.

A birthday get away

We had a great time. There was only one restaurant open during our stay because of the time of year. This was okay because we brought food to bbq. The tornado warning was fun and the lightning and thunder storm was also fun. The weather was great and the beach was clean and beautiful. Thousands and thousands of shelf’s.

September Magic

We loved our stay at 8 Days a Week. It was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and in a great location. We can also recommend being at Bald Head Island in September. The weather is perfect, the water is warm, and there is an even more relaxed atmosphere. The location of this Villa is perfect for walking to the pool, the beach, and the Bald Head Island Cub. It also has excellent views of the entire 18th hole of the golf course, and you can spot lots of wildlife from the decks. The two golf carts are well-maintained and the kitchen has everything you need. We found the property managers friendly, courteous, and easy to work with. This is an excellent choice for an island getaway.

Little disappointed

My wife spent the first day picking up dead roaches and killing other ones. Not what we were expecting for the cost. I is apparent that they are spraying. But May need to be done more frequently and make sure housekeeping picks up the dead ones prior to checking in.

1st time on Bald Head

Our family of 5 made its first ever visit to Bald Head Island looking for a quiet beach getaway away from crowds during this “Summer of COVID.” The Island was just what we were looking for and did not disappoint. This particular unit is in a development called the Villas, which was apparently amongst the early developments in the island to be built back in the 1980’s. The development and the unit were both a bit more dated than we expected from the photos. The master bathroom in particular is long overdue for a remodel. Staying for two weeks, we had a couple of very minor maintenance issues that the property management office took care of same day with no fuss. All in all, a great location to get away from the crowds and enjoy a beautiful, quiet, and very natural beach.

Needs a good check on everything that doesn’t work in 5he kitchen

Please get better coffee maker! Replace light over the stove. We had to use a flashlight to read oven settings! Check the entire house before renting! My husband and I have amazing rental properties, one on top of Beech Mountain NC and I make sure all things work….if they get old I replace,…,.management should test those things

Just the perfect size

More than enough room for my wife and me to have a long-needed get-away at a reasonable price. Over the 26 years coming to BHI with large family groups at big houses, we always were curious about the Villas. This COVID year meant no family gathering so we tried it. 8 Days A Week was just right for our respite. Comfortable, not fancy. Beds slept well. Kitchen more than sufficient. Nice grill. Great views in most directions. Minor things - a few roaches, as mentioned before but clearly had been sprayed as they were on last legs, literally; DVD player in main room not hooked up to TV (needs HDMI cable, though nice selection of movies if it had been)-nice Amazon Fire Stick to use; red cart ran out of power after only a long morning out. Thanks for making this vacation feel safe and well supported.

Nice Visit

We’ve stayed in a few of the Villas and this one was ok. We had to change our original reservation due to the island delaying it’s opening to renters. I’m not sure the Villa was prepped for the rental season. It needed a good cleaning and their were issues I had to call and report. Ceiling fan and lamp wouldn’t turn on, they were fixed quickly but after turning the ceiling fan off for the night I never could figure out how the repair man got it turned on. Lights were out in several areas and other small issues. The villa is nice, but needed a deep clean for the start of the season and to ensure everything was in working order. We love the villas and the location to the beach and to the club.

So disappointed

We were all looking forward to staying at your beautiful villa. This was my 2020 Christmas gift to my daughter. She is a nurse practitioner in busy inner city Emergency Dept in Richmond Va. she manned the Covid tent last year for 3 months. The gas crisis happened and we could not find gas to travel down to you. We were not sure if we would find it going back and since we are both nurses, we were scheduled to work that Tuesday. I did contact The rental agency and asked if we might be able to come another time off season at owners choice They sad no. I asked for my cleaning deposit back and they refunded that. So sadly we did not get a chance to see your beautiful villa or BHI. We will try again next year. I had to rate you with stars but it did not pertain to me as we never arrived. I am sure it was lovely.

Very family friendly

Pro's Right on 18th hole....get to watch golfers finishing their game Great fishing in the waterway immediately behind the unit - the photo on-line doesn't do it justice Very well equipped kitchen Right across street from beach access - no need go drive VERY kid friendly.. lots of games and colorful quilts on beds The upstairs bedroom is quiet and appears soundproof. The adults can carry on downstairs while the kids sleep upstairs Cons Wi-Fi doesn't work. Property manager was none responsive to fix issue Right across from the club house - if there is a live band, it's like u were there. Carpets are dirty - didn't take off my house shoes except in the bathroom No cutting board in kitchen Somebody's condiments were left in the refrigerator. It's kind of creepy.. Couldn't find the beach towels. Many of the bicycles have flat front tires. While there were many spare tires, you would have to climb a ladder get them down, take off the old flat put on the new tire. That's too much work. I would prefer that somebody checks them regularly. Upstairs balcony is a mess. There's some broken things up there. I didn't know whether to touch it or not No common area bathroom. Everyone would have to use their own bathroom

Terrific Vacay

I just returned from this villa today and we had a terrific time. This is our third time in the villas and our first time renting this one and it won’t be the last. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The villa looks out to the 18th hole and it’s a beautiful view. The villas are our favorite because they are right next to the BHI Club so we could walk there each day for the pool and even for dinner at Horizons one night plus beach access 13 is across from the villas and we love this beach. The sunsets are spectacular. We saw gators daily in the lagoon behind the house which was exciting for all of us. The villa had enough space for the 6 of us(parents and 4 teens), tons of board games which the kids loved and 2 four seater golf carts which worked out great for exploring the island. Just a few suggestions: There are 2 bikes in the garage but maybe 2 more would be even better plus baskets would help when biking to hold a purse or phone. Kitchen cabinets need to be reconfigured to make room for groceries since there is no pantry. Deck needs seating for at least 6 instead of 4 since the villa has 3 bedrooms. Bedroom off of kitchen is lacking in drawer space. Lose the armoire and replace with a 6 drawer dresser. Mirrored closet doors need to go. They are hard to open and close and outdated. Bedding and mattresses were so comfortable. We all slept like babies. Lots of beach chairs which was terrific. We left our EzUp beach canopy because it still works great and we plan on buying a new one next Summer. We had a terrific time at Villa #34 and know others will also.

Interesting Vacation

We have been to Bald Head Island several times and we love the Island. We have stayed at this Villa a couple of times but we did not find it as clean or in as good repair as we have in the past. In the past there were bicycles (not the best but at least some there) and there was also covers on the golf carts in case of rain. No bicycles and no covers in the golf carts. There were only 4 beach towels provided and they were not in good condition. Overall, the Villa was not maintained as well as it had been. Benefit to this Villa is proximity to BHI Club.

Great experience, beautiful views

We loved our stay here. The view of the golf course and BHI club was beautiful. Everything was easy to get to from this location and it was super convenient having two golf carts available. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, and a high chair for the baby. Just fyi, no toiletries such as shampoo/lotions are provided in the bathrooms so be sure to bring your own. We did see a couple roaches but also a few dead ones so I’m guessing the house must have recently been sprayed for bugs. This is likely something you will find anywhere you stay on the island and the instructions do mention them. Overall great place to stay and would recommend.

Excellent liocatiion

We loved being across from the beach with close proximity to the Bald Head Island Club and beautiful views. We had everything we needed. The price was reasonable. If our two adult children had been able to come we would have had plenty of room..

Wish I did not have to write this.

Everything was great until we arrived at the Villa. If the unit was cleaner I could give it 5 stars. We had to buy bug spray and spray indoors and out. We didn't feel comfortable sitting outside because there were so many bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. I really didn't feel the unit was very clean either.

Great weekend stay!

We had a great time staying in this Villa. My husband ran the Badwater 50 mile Race and we were able to see them run by the road next to the beach. A short ride or walk to the beach access. Absolutely beautiful sunsets and sunrises looking at golf course and Lagoon. We did see the big gator laying on the bank of the lagoon. That was cool to see. The Villa was clean and very efficient. We loved the golf carts, beach toys, chairs, and everything we needed was there! Thanks for a great weekend with my family!

Great BHI Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this villa and had a great vacation! The villa has great views of the 18th fairway. We enjoyed watching the alligators from our deck swim by in the lagoon. Location is great to get to the BHI Club but if buy a guest membership, be aware, you can only schedule 2 hours per day for the swim areas. Bicycles are not in the best of condition. Villa was very clean and stocked.
