Great ski lodging at Whiteface

We had a small group for a multi day race at Whiteface and this place was perfect. Great property, responsive host, and a 10 min drive to the mountain

Fantastic Stay in Wilmington

Absolutely fantastic place and location. Very clean, excellent beds, nice rooms, large well equipped kitchen. Surroundings are super, great creek and trail behind the house. Hannah is a fantastic host, hope to be able to return soon.

Amazing House

The house was very spacious and easily accommodated my whole family for a wonderful vacation in the Adirondacks. The property was beautiful and my kids loved exploring the woods.

Great location

This is an amazing house with nice property. It’s close to many attractions. The house was clean and had nice entertainment (ping pong table and great vhs and dvd movies, board games and puzzles). I would love to visit that area also during spring/summer time.

Lovely house, perfect location.

We really enjoyed our stay in February. Close to all main attractions in Lake Placid. The house has many play areas for the kids. The host very pleasant and easy to communicate. I definitely recommend to stay they there.

amazing mountain retreat

This was the third time that we have stayed here. Hannah is a fantastic host and incredibly easy to get in touch with when needed. The house is amazing and has plenty for everyone to do. The location is great to get to both lake placid and hikes. we love this house and will certainly be back.

We booked this stay for big family ski vacation and it was perfect. It is a beautiful home with plenty of clean and comfortable rooms. The kitchen was well equipped for large dinners and breakfast. Whiteface was super convenient and close to do drop offs and pickups at the mountain. The awesome collections of movies and games provided hours of fun entertainment outside of skiing. We had lots of laughs playing Headbandz around the dining table and made some really great family memories! Hannah was a wonderful host, with fantastic communication throughout the stay. We would love to come back again!

Sibling reunion

Hannah’s home was perfect, five bedrooms and very spacious. It was well stocked and super clean. We loved the fact that there was a ping pong table! The property was beautiful and close to Wilmington and hikes but not near other houses. I would definitely there again.

The host is top notch!! She really cared about helping us to have a great vacation. For example- we traveled with my 1 1/2 year old grandson. She had baby gates, toys, pack n pack, and high chair set up for him. If you like privacy, you will love this place. Felt like you were alone with the mountains and the babbling creek. The ping pong room was a huge hit! Fire pit stocked with dry wood. We cooked several meals and she had stocked pantry every thing you need (spices, oil, flour, sugar, etc). Trails across the creek were well maintained and were great for hiking and running. About 25 minutes from Lake Placid. Super clean and comfortable. Didn’t want to leave!

Perfect ski house

Everything about this house was perfect. I was very impressed with the Heating system because it kept the whole house the same temperature. I’ve been in many houses that had major cold spots and big drafts, but this house did not have any of those problems. It truly is a beautiful and relaxing house. I would absolutely rent it again.

Amazing ADK getaway

I couldn't recommend this property more. Our family has stayed at this house many times now and absolutely love it. It is a fantastic. It is exactly as advertised if not even better. There is so much to do in the house (games, books, ping pong....) and easy access to both Lake Placid and the High Peaks region (about 20 drive). We absolutely love this house and location. Hannah is also a fantastic host who is very communicative. We will certainly be coming back!

Adirondack getaway

This is one of our favorite places to stay. We have stayed at this house a number of times and it is always wonderful. The property is clean, well appointed and exactly as listed. There is so much to do on the property (ping pong, fire pit, playing in the creek and hiking the trail out of the back yard and tons of puzzles in the house). The house is an easy, beautiful 25 minute drive to Lake Placid and an easy drive to some of the high peaks. We've stayed at this house many times and Hannah is an exceptional host. She's very communicative and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home & Property

I don't think there's a single thing this host has forgotten! From detailed instructions and labeled cabinets to extra items you may have forgotten on your trip. The house and property are great and exactly as described. I will say that a few of us did not find the beds very comfortable. If you like a more sturdy bed, you'll be good, but if you like a little extra cushion, consider bringing a topper. Overall great stay.

Beautiful, well thought out and organized space!

We had a great time together as a family! So many hours were spent playing ping pong. Adults and kids alike were entertained and happy the entire stay. Many very thoughtful touches and details that made our stay perfect. Kitchen is very well stocked (above and beyond), cabinets are all labeled, plenty of towels were available, huge collections of vhs/dvds, books and puzzles gave us all many opportunities for fun as well. Gorgeous mountain views were an added treat. We have been at many different places in the Adirondacks as a family but we all agree this has become our favorite by far! We look forward to many more stays in the future.

Great Place to Stay for Hiking

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. Hannah was a terrific host and answered any questions we had promtly. The kitchen was well appointed and the rooms were spacious. Three separate bathrooms were a real plus. We were there to winter hike a number of peaks in the area. Because it was winter, the driveway was tricky to navigate for one of our cars but this possibility was made clear in the listing. I would definitely rent again and hope to stay in the summer where the outdoors (woods and stream on property) could be enjoyed more. Highly recommend.

It’s that great!

Wonderful place on every level. The home layout and especially kitchen organization is conducive to groups (labels really helped) and all amenities spotlessly clean, functional (hate rentals when pans broken and lights don’t work etc.!) and high quality (towels chairs sheets). I also loved the empty surfaces rather than knick knacks all about! The property with hiking trail and babbling creek was a highlight. We would take our chairs and hang out with dogs there every day. Hannah responsive kind and thoughtful. Her recommendations are spot on. Wilmington has great dining and zero crowds or traffic. Thanks for hospitality. We will be back as we now love the Adriondaks !

Great house with incredible setting

My wife and I, and our 3 dogs rented the Morris' home for a week and it was exactly what we needed. It is a great house, with everything you would need from a well layed out kitchen (and labeled drawers), to comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and a nice game room/entertainment center in the basement. Even better was the setting, seeing the sun rise over Whiteface when you wake up to having your coffee on the back deck while listening to the creek below. There are trails around the creek that even connect to the Cooper Kiln trail. For those that want to do more outdoor activities, the hosts provided a booklet with many more trails and activities in the area. The house was more than enough for us and its easy to see how it could comfortably have 8+ people stay in it. We would definitely recommend to all and will be back in the future.

Stunning & peaceful getaway

Everything you could possibly imagine needing or wanting for a stay up in the Adirondacks is here waiting for you. The house is just beautiful and stocked and labeled with everything, and I mean pretty much everything, except your food and clothes. The property is beautiful and private and peaceful with a gorgeous brook and hiking trails. Perfect vacation getaway for any season you choose. Ten minutes from White Face Mountain and around 20 from the town of Lake Placid. Your hosts, Hannah and Will are fabulous and respond to any questions within minutes. You’ll also be provided with a host of info about the surrounding area for restaurants, shopping and recreation. We can’t wait to return.

Nice end of summer mountain vacation

House was great for our week away hiking and exploring local region. Kids enjoyed all the toys and games available, as well as playing outside on the large property and taking walks along the brook. Bonus we didn't expect was the deck has a ramp in addition to stairs. This was good for our older dog to easily go in and out and nice for us all.

Amazing Mountain Escape

We have never chosen to stay at the same house a second time, as we like to explore new areas. However, our whole family had such an amazing first stay that we couldn’t wait to come back. The house is amazing and the property is awesome. We spent a lot of time playing by the creak and trail running on the trail right out of the back yard. The ~20 minute drive to lake placid activities or hiking in Keene Valley is east and beautiful. I love the privacy of the house and property and Hannah is a great host who is readily and easily available if needed. Our kids are already asking when we can come back!
