OBS: vi är just färdig inredda denna stuga: nytt trägolv, ny matta, uppdaterade möbler. Bilder att följa, men det är vackert.

Hmmm, jag tycker att det är vad vi behöver. Vad sägs om att leta efter en liten stuga i skogen där vi kan tillbringa lite tid tillsammans. Inga uppgifter. Ingen uppgiftslista. Inga sysslor. Bara en plats där vi kan koppla av tillsammans. Kanske en plats vid ett damm eller några vandringsleder, eller kanske en plats där vi kan ta oss ut i ett fält och springa runt och spela några spel. Åh, och kan du se om det fanns en plats där vi kunde grilla ute och kanske steka några marshmallows och sitta och bara vara. Det skulle vara riktigt trevligt om det också var överkomligt. Kanske då hade vi råd att spendera tre nätter och verkligen komma hem uppdaterade. Kan du se om du kunde hitta en sådan plats?

Quiet rest

It was our third time staying in The Wilderness. We like the remote area with pond in front. The look and feel of it is peaceful. It is a great getaway for a quiet rest.

Wonderful Retreat

This is our second time to stay at this wonderful, relaxing cabin. The outside to the inside screams relaxation. This time we were able to meet the host, they were wonderful. We will be back.

10 year anniversary trip

This place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway the cabin was just as pictured but just better in person super cozy it rained the whole time we were here so we didn’t get to walk the trails like we wanted to but I definitely will be back and try another cabin on the property the property manager is very nice and easy to communicate with

Winter at The Wilderness

The cabin was perfect! Even if the temps outside were in the 20's it was cozy and clean and quiet. Will definitely be back in warmer weather.

Fantastic getaway

My partner and I had such a wonderful time celebrating his birthday here. It’s close to local restaurants and hiking trails, and the cottage itself is so cute. Very comfortable bed to rest in after running around all day. It’s a great place to relax, unplug, and get away for a while. Bobbie and Ray were so hospitable, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts! We didn’t want to leave, and we hope to be back soon!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Me and my wife stayed the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was great to sit and relax on the porch, fish in the pond, and see the falls just a few minutes away. Glad we had cool neighbors, no issues sharing the fire pit area and fishing in the pond. It was worth the price in our opinion and would give it our recommendation.

Rustic tranquility!

The cabin was perfect for 2 people! Located off the beaten path was a plus for us as we were looking for a place to enjoy the quiet of the country. The bed was more comfortable than any bed we have ever slept on in a hotel. The kitchen was accomodating for what we needed. We used the grill out by the pond the night we cooked dinner and enjoyed the swing while our dinner cooked. The cabin was decorated with cute antique furniture upstairs and the loveseat/chaise in the living room was perfect for us to snuggle up on while watching tv. The owner had "hotel" size toiletries incase something was forgotten. We even had a couple visits from the dogs during our stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
