Our group was my wife and I and three 12 year olds. We would definitely stay here again. The cabin was clean and had plenty of room. The kids loved the hot tub out by the creek. Having a washer and dryer was really helpful. Very convenient to Lamar Valley, where we saw a wolf, grizzlies, pronghorns, coyotes and other wildlife - even saw 3 moose inside Cooke City. It was also convenient for a trip over the Beartooth Highway to Red Lodge. Cooke City is pretty remote, but the general store in town had most of what we needed during our stay. We had a great time!

We had an absolutely amazing time. We traveled on Thursday and left on Sunday. We had a great time celebrating a 60th birthday, rode our side by sides on all the mountain trails, and even saw and photographed a grizzly bear, we cooked all our meals, played games, roasted marshmallows, elevated s’mores with various chocolates, played in the hot tub and relaxed by the fires in the morning with coffee, and evening while relishing the days’ events. The cabin is exquisite, the beds are comfy, there are enough supplies for everything we needed, the river views were exceptional, and had a bull moose walk along the river as we sat by the campfire.with a party of 12 there was plenty of room for everyone. Thank you for sharing your mountain paradise with us. We will forever cherish our memories. Can’t wait to come back.

Prior to this summer, we had stayed two weeks annually in a cabin setting in northern Wisconsin for over two and a half decades. Our place in the woods was sold and we couldn't imagine a possible replacement. This "loft" near Cooke City, Montana, and the northeast gate of Yellowstone was a replacement beyond what we might have dared to dream, and, could not have imagined. One might not associate "luxury" and daily "wilderness wanderings" however that is the description most appropos.
