The sound of the river from the riverside cabins was very soothing and the location was perfect for visits to Steamboat Lake, Hahns Peak Lake and the town of Steamboat Springs. We held a reunion dinner party at the Tavern and the food was excellent. Most importantly, the staff was extremely accommodating, helping a disabled family member access the swimming pool area via a golf cart, and replacing a missing screen in a cabin on very short notice.We would definitely stay again.

The cabin was clean, inviting and exactly what we needed! (But I did not like the view to the new school building next door--it's too institutional!) Otherwise--everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Derek, Toni, Kelsey (sp) and the flower lady (forget her name). We went horseback riding, kayaking on Pearl Lake, fly fishing, swimming, played tennis and volleyball--unfortunately, we didn't have enough time!! The only disappointment was the shortened hours for the Tavern! If we could, we would come again, but our family is too spread out. I love the Elk River Valley and the Steamboat area!!!

Wonderful stay....hope to visit again in the summer

The views at Karen & Eddie’s home are astounding!! Sunsets galore. Extremely clean and well kept home and 5 acre property. High end finishes and furniture abound. The kitchen is stocked beyond measure. Gas grill. Decks in front and back. Hot tub with mountain lake & sunset views. Karen and Eddy take impeccable care of their home and made sure that we were happy with our stay.and had all that we needed. They even came and mowed several times during our stay. If you are thinking of staying here for a month or more, do not hesitate!!

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and welcoming.
