The cottage was awesome. The hosts were awesome. The town was awesome.

Had a great time, perfect house next to the river and a few minutes drive to the reservoir.

We had an amazing time renting the camper with our family. There was plenty of room and everything worked perfectly. It was nice to relax after a long day on the lake and get some good sleep. The hosts went above and beyond helping up book a campsite at Glendo that would accommodate everything we needed as well as delivering and getting things set up for our arrival. Thank you for your hospitality and your attention to detail! We look forward to booking again.

I can’t overstate how nice this property is. The decor is exquisite. If you are passing through this area as we were don’t miss this place. The owner/host is perfect. Also, don’t miss dinner at the Miners & Cattleman’s Bar & Steakhouse.

The house and the host were both great! The host was quick to respond to my questions, very accommodating and friendly. We loved the history associated with the house and host family. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Close to the lake and town, (less than 10 minutes to both), yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again! *The only reason I gave the "listing accuracy" a 4 star rating instead of 5, was that it said the property had a hot tub. We didn't see one and to be fair, I didn't ask.
