Vacation rentals near Jungfraujoch

Wonderful chalet. Loved how we were just a 15 minute walk outside of the town. We saw goats and sheep daily on our walk into Wegen. It was so beautiful there. The chalet was well equipped, clean & comfortable.

This was a perfect location, in every way. The description is truly accurate, with a beautiful setting that must be seen to be believed!

Had a nice stay and fhe apartmenr was comfortable. It is directly on the bus route which was handy once I figured this out. Even though the bus schedule was at the apartment, it would be beneficial for future guests to know the names of the bus stops to understand which one to take to get into town. The only other recommendation would be to have a fan in the aparrtment during the summer as it was wuite warm with no air circulation even with the windows open.

6 of us spent 2 wonderful days hiking in and around Gimmelwald, including the cable car to the Schlithorn. The town was much more quaint than Murren and had amazing views from our deck. We stopped at the store in Lauterbrautten to get groceries and created our own breakfasts and packed lunches.

We had the most amazing stay in Lauterbrunnen in this flat located on the ground floor of Susanne's Chalet. This flat is super comfortable with a million dollar view from the patio, den and bedroom! Susanne is just the sweetest host as well. She both picked us up from the train station and then took us back when it was time to the leave. The flat is well appointed and the kitchen has everything you need in the way of utensils and flatware. The bed was very comfortable as is the sectional in the den/living room for relaxing. For just a bit more, Susanne even provided a twin bed for our 18yr old daughter who was traveling with us. Lauterbrunnen is the perfect jumping off spot for all things Jungfrau, and Susanne's chalet is located just a short ten minute walk to downtown for food and shopping, and also the train station. There are several good dining options in town and a CoOp for groceries. The Chalet is located up a steepish hill which is no problem for those in decent shape but might be a bit challenging for anyone with mobility issues if you are planning on walking it. Same for walking into town, but worth it. The whole area is a hiker's paradise and the valley and surrounding areas are postcard perfect in the way of scenery. Cannot say enough good things about the flat and Susanne's hospitality. Would give 10 stars if I could! This accommodation was everything we wanted for our first trip to Switzerland and Lauterbrunnen.

It is located with wonderful views and just a few mins from the Grindelwald center. The place itself is cute and has wonderful views from the living room of the eiger mountian and also can see the para gliding landing right in front of us. Over all a wonderful experience. The bath tub though is not comfortable for someone tall.
