  • Clean and great view

"This was clean, but dated. Owner was very accommodating getting in and any questions we had. Door to the balcony handle is a little tricky and sometimes had a tough time opening. Our family had a good time and enjoyed the beach!!"

  • I want to move in.

"My wife, our son (14), our nephew (14) and I stayed here from 7/9 (check-in) - 7/16 (check-out). We all loved it. The Unit: Everything we needed for our stay was provided and it was in good condition. Well, except for those things noted in the agreement like paper products, etc. There was enough toilet paper, soap, etc to get us through the first night which was nice. The view from this unit is incredible. I spent every night on the massive balcony watching the ocean, the people on the beach and later the people being launched into the night sky on the slingshot at the pier. Who needs TV when you have that view. Just FYI, TV is provided and there is a large selection of cable channels to watch. I happily only watched 15 minutes of TV during the whole stay. The condo is close enough to the pier that you can walk to it. I think it's 1.8 miles and makes for a nice beach walk. It is also far enough that all that pier craziness doesn't impact your time at the beach. The location is perfect. The Beach: It wasn't crowded, everybody had space to spread out on the beach. The beach in front of the condo is clean, almost totally shell free and has a gradual slope into the ocean. On average I'd say the waves were about 3 feet tall. That sounds small but there is a lot of power in a 3 foot wave. As the tide came in we got some 5 footers that made wave jumping a lot of fun. This is my favorite beach when compared to Virginia Beach, Myrtle, Marco Island, Ft. Walton or Clearwater. Waikiki beats out Daytona, but that's a lot longer drive. :-) Juan and Mercedes: Juan is an excellent communicator and we had no issues with checking in or out. He has the unit's keys in a lock box on the unit's front door. That's much better than the last place we stayed where the keys were in a lock box two miles from the unit. Everything was great and that's because they put the effort into making it great. I'd definitely stay here again and I'd seriously move in if Juan wanted to adopt a 42 year old from Ohio. In closing, Juan and Mercedes, thank you very much for opening your home to us and helping us to have a memorable and wonderful family vacation. I highly recommend this unit to anyone thinking about a vacation at the beach."

  • We enjoyed out stay! Thank you.

"Nicely appointed and updated condo. There is a small kitchen area with fridge, microwave, coffee pot and utensils. The hosts also had coffees, teas, and left chocolates for our arrival. The room had ample towels, beach chairs, and some toiletries. It was CLEAN and exactly as depicted in the photos. We read a lot of reviews complaining of musty smelling rooms elsewhere. Not here. Impeccably presented. Everything has been updated and looks brand new. WiFi in the room is spotty at best and we killed our data before we figured out a signal can be found out on the patio area, which is also very nice with tables and chairs available. There is a pool on property that was also clean and well kept. The beach less than a minute walk from the front door. The hosts were very responsive and directions in were easy. Electronic entry eliminated hassling with keys. The staff on property were also helpful and there's several restaurants and shops within walking distance. On the main drag right next to the entrance to Daytona Beach there's a lot to do and see. The hosts were gracious and quite accomodsting. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Thank you for having us."
