Welcome to our Condominium in The Shores Club! The HUGE balcony (twice as large as the two bedroom units) of our condominium directly overlooks the NON-DRIVING beach. We greatly enjoy sitting on the balcony watching people walking on the beach and listening to the sound of the waves breaking. Sunrises from the balcony are breathtaking and if you are lucky enough to stay during a full moon, you will be in awe watching the moon reflect off the ocean while sitting on the balcony in the evenings.
The Shores Club is a wonderful building with a number of full time residents. The way the building is designed, every condominium directly faces the beach plus has a view of the Intracoastal Waterway from the 'front' side. We vacationed here several times before deciding to buy this beautiful ocean front condominium, located on the south-east corner, in 2014. We were amazed how close this condo felt to the ocean! During high-tide you feel like you are sitting on the beach while still in the condo. It's low enough to see the waives break but high enough for amazing views. As a result, we knew the third floor was perfect for us!
The facilities are well maintained and it is very safe with electronic locks on every outside door (including the gate to the beach) and secure covered parking. It has the usual amenities of a heated pool, an exercise room with a sauna and tennis, shuffleboard and basketball courts. But our favorite thing about the building is the location; it is located about 200 yards south of the cut-off point for driving on Daytona Beach. It makes it so nice to be able to walk on the beach right in front of the condominium without having to watch out for traffic.
The Sunglow Pier is within easy walking distance (you can see it in the picture of the beach above) and has a restaurant right on the ocean, Crabby Joe’s. We’re about ¾ of a mile south of the Dunlawton bridge and about four miles north of the lighthouse at Ponce Inlet; it too can be seen from the condominium balcony.
The Condominium has a large master bedroom with a king-size bed and sliding glass doors that access the balcony. With the glass doors and the large windows you have a great view of the ocean while lying in bed. (You will feel like the ocean comes up to your bed.) There is a private master bathroom with a vanity area and a huge walk-in closet. The master bedroom has a 40 inch flat screen TV.
One guest bedroom has a king-size bed with a 32 inch flat screen TV. The second guest bedroom has two queen-size beds along with a 32 inch flat screen TV. There are private full baths for each of the guest bedrooms. And although the guest bedrooms are on the front side of the unit, there is a view of the Intracoastal waterway out their windows. High quality linens (minimum 400 thread count), pillows (each bed has special pillow for side and back sleepers) and towels are furnished for all bedrooms.
The living room has beautiful new, flooring, leather furniture; a sofa, loveseat (both with built-in recliners), and a very comfortable recliner. It has a new large 50 inch flat screen smart TV with a DVD player. There is also a fireplace in the living room. But of course the best feature of the living room is the view of the ocean out the windows and sliding doors! And being on the south-end of the building, in the winter there is lots of sunshine that comes in the side windows.
The dining area was tiled as part of our renovations. It has beautiful wicker furniture including a table that seats six plus there is a bar between it and the kitchen that seats three. The kitchen has a tray ceiling and lovely tile - but its best feature is the great view of the ocean! The kitchen is fully furnished with cookware and dishware and is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffeemaker.
Two high speed Wi-Fi connections are included. One has 5g and the other 2g. There is also Wi-Fi through-out the condo building and pool area.
We are non-smokers so we insist on No Smoking in our Condominium. However, for our guests who do smoke, smoking is allowed on the balcony. If we can answer any questions for you please contact us by e-mail.

I hope this finds you doing well in the New Year! I wanted to give you an update on what is going on at "our" condo.
Since my last email the following updates have been made:
Speedy Check Out - Strip the beds and go! No more laundry before leaving! A unique feature for my guests.
New Washer and Dryer - Faster, better, washer and dryer were purchased for doing laundry.
New Cushions on Patio Furniture - All of the patio furniture have new cushions.
New Lounge Chair on Patio - I have added a lounge chair & small table to the patio furniture. Perfect for relaxing, reading and enjoying your favorite beverages.
Patio - My patio has been completely redone! New rails and painting. For those who have stayed in the past couple years they are finishing up all the patios this month! Yay!! There should be no more major construction at the building for the foreseeable future!
Window Cleaning -The beautiful panoramic windows will be cleaned every time the window cleaning company is on the property! Providing the clearest views possible on the beach!
Favorite Brew Glasses - For all you beer lovers, two sets of your favorite type of beer glasses have been added. One for each type of brew. Tomoka Brewery is only a couple miles away and you can fill up a growler with your favorite beer.
New Sheets, Towels & Soap - I believe in keeping new and high quality sheets and towels at the condo at all times. I have also supplied hand soaps so you don't have to worry about it upon arrival.
Water in the Refrigerator - After traveling all day I felt it important to have some bottled water in the refrigerator for you to enjoy upon arrival.
Fresh Fruit, Flowers & Cookies - A special touch that you will only find when staying in #307. :)
Condo Building - There have been many nice new updates to the building, including a new gate and fence to access the ocean, new exterior paint, new floor tile, a new salt water pool will be coming soon, and many other nice improvements.
Tanger Outlet Mall - Beautiful new outlet mall located at Interstate 95 & LPGA.
One Daytona (Opening 2017) - Bass Pro Shop and 300,000 sq ft retail, dining & entertainment district.
Full Moon Over the Ocean - For the first time on my recent visit to the condo a week ago, I experienced the full moon reflecting off the ocean while sitting on the patio. I can assure you its a breathtaking as the most beautiful sunrise!
Special Touches - As always more special touches that makes this condo cozy, beachy and feeling like a second home were made. Beach themed tv trays, nice bed steps for the queen beds, books, movies, games and more.
The condo was booked almost every day last year. I have enjoyed hearing all the fun stories and memories from the guests who have stayed and now call it "our condo". Most are reserving their dates for the following year before leaving. Few waited to long and their dates got booked. If possible I encourage those staying to rebook their dates for the following year before leaving. This will not only lock in your dates but will also give you the same rate for the following year.

Hello! I hope you enjoy staying at my condo as much as I do. I have been visiting Daytona for over 30 years. I have stayed at some of the nicest condos, homes and hotels on the beach. But when I walked into this condo for the first time and saw the view I was hooked! The layout of this condo was unique in that the living room, master bedroom, kitchen and dining room ALL had incredible views of the ocean. You can be sitting in any of these rooms and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and beach. I knew I had to own it after the first night. I have been in the hospitality business for over 20yrs. I understand the importance of a wonderful experience when you are on vacation. There are many factors including the importance of high quality sheets, pillows and towels that provide that great experience. All the sheets in my condo are a minimum of 400 thread count; all beds have pillows for both side and back sleepers. The towels are soft and new. Most importantly, I know cleanliness is the most essential factor when guests are staying, so I make sure the condo is spotless when you walk in the door. I can even arrange for it to be cleaned during your stay. Enjoy your stay in paradise! Gary

Incredible condo! Priceless views!
This was our 2nd time staying in this condo and it’s simply amazing! Very well kept. From the welcome fruit bowl and cookies to the beach closet full of everything you may need to enjoy the beach to the fullest. The views are breathtaking. I look forward to staying here again soon. The view is incredible. Ocean right out your door. My only concern was the
humidity. Owner has a dehumidifier but I think it should be bigger. Otherwise no complaints from us

Love love love this condo. Can I say "love".
I totally love this condo.
Gary and his dad are right on top with things that come up. Couple instances: I mentioned some of the towels looked not too pretty any more. The next day there was new towels waiting for us. Another is I mentioned more storage for food could be in the condo. I meant at some point. Well two days later lots of food storage containers appeared. Wow. What service. Thanks Gary's dad.
This was our third year here and are booked for next year. Extending our time a little more. We keep extending our time. Maybe we will move in permanently. Lol
Gary told me to let him know of anything that needs help in the condo. Wow. How many owners says that?
Our favorite restaurants are North Turn and HIdden Treasure. We usually ride Gary's bikes to these spots. Had family here one week and had to actually drive our car to these spots. That seems weird.
Speaking of family, we had two of our daughters and their family here at one time. Plenty of room and your own bath. Our daughters have been here before and they each call out certain rooms. Our one son in law came for the first time this year. He originally said he didn't want to come to Daytona. Well I don't think I have ever seen him seem so relaxed (has a stressful job). He got into fishing from Crabby Joes pier and spent a lot of time there. You can fish for a good price (fishing equipment included). This pier is within sight of the condo and has a restaurant there. Easy to walk to.
We had some unusual cool weather but found some things in the area to go to.
A fairly inexpensive spot to take kids is less than five miles down the road (by lighthouse) that rescues turtles and other creatures. Took our grandkids there. Figured okay fifteen minutes will be enough. (Small place). Omg my one daughter and family was there a very long time. They had different things going on that day.
Stairs are right in the corner by the condo. We usually took them except when we moved luggage in and out. There are grocery carts in the garage and luggage carts inside the lobby.
The lobby is being redone. They have a tv going on showing pictures of "old Daytona".
I know this review may be too long but I can't stress enough how great this condo is.

There was a welcome note with cookies thay was nice amd a book from the owner with suggestions on everything in the local area. We weren’t able to stay our full stay but if we ever come back we will rebook this property.

There are so many great things to do and see within a very short drive of the condo! Two of my favorite restaurants are only a mile away! Crabby Joe's at the Sun Glow Pier and North Turn are both within walking distance of the condo. Ponce Inlet is 4 miles away and features the famous Ponce Inlet Light House, marinas with charter fishing, great restaurants and entertainment. Daytona has so much to offer with great restaurants, activities, shopping and sight seeing. The International Speedway featuring the Daytona 500 and Coke 400 are a must see at least once. Along with the Rolex 24 hour race. Tours of the International Speedway are provided all year. Orlando is just an hour away with all the attractions there including Disney World, Epcot, MGM, Sea World, Holy Land, outlet malls, and so much more. St. Augustine is a very scenic drive up A1A. I enjoy stopping at Flagler Beach for a drink or eating. Flagler is is half way to St. Augustine. There is a lot of rich history in St. Augustine as it's the oldest city in the United States. A historical fort that over looks the bay is a must see. There are also two outlet malls to enjoy some shopping while visiting. There are so many great places to visit so close to the condo you will have hard time deciding were to go first. I visit often and I am always discovering new places. This is one of the main reasons I decided to purchase a condo here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Life is better at the beach! :) Gary
