Casa Tranquila, part of an idyllic beach front retreat, is located in the Costa Azul area in the beautiful and friendly village of San Francisco (San Pancho) nestled between the Sierra Madre and the Pacific. The breathtaking beach at your backdoor is never crowded (almost deserted) and free of annoying vendors. Costa Azul Resort is steps away and offers an array of adventure activities. They have a huge pool, with swim up bar, and their restaurant/bar is right on the water. A nine hole golf course is just steps away as well. One of the best restaurants in town, Mar Plata, is just across the street. Four of us shared Casa Tranquila, while 5 other friends stayed in the casitas below. This is just an ideal location, quiet, about 12 minutes walk to the little town of San Pancho, just above the beach. The houses are all beautiful, with comfortable lounging spaces, comfy & spacious bedrooms, and well-equipped kitchens. The gardens, too, are glorious. All the staff were lovely and helpful. We would highly recommend this spot and hope to return soon!

We have recently returned from our visit at Casa Tranquila and still can't get it out of our minds! Jeff has definitely created a paradise. We are in love with San Pancho and have already made reservations to come back next year. The staff is great and the dinners cooked for us were, well what can I say, truly wonderful! What a great place to vacation!

We had no idea we were in for such an adventure. The villa was wonderful! We were in the villa on the beach, Casa Amorita. It was great. We had the upstairs room (w/o air, but a big fan) without windows, but ocean breezes. Saw a great thunder and lightening storm and woke up with a big orange tabby cat between us. I guess the thunder scared him. The pool surrounding the kitchen was much loved and used by our grandson. Gotta see the bathrooms!! We are definitely coming back. The little store on the way out town on the main road has some of the most beautiful pottery and best prices you'll see. We had to go to Wal-Mart and buy another couple suitcases to get everything home. We had dinner cooked for us one evening and it was excellent. Very clean and well kept and beautiful grounds. Just a note: If you see cars going up and down the beach every couple hours, stopping, digging and continuing on don't be alarmed, they dig up turtle eggs to incubate until they hatch, then have a "Send the little turtles loose" ceremony on the beach. Thank you Jeff, we had a great stay!!

Hi Jeff, Just wanted to let you know that we had an incredible time at your place in Mexico. It was spectacular!! Everything was perfect and we would love to go back again next year. Our talks of returning at the same time next year were the only way we could motivate ourselves to walk out the door and catch our flights. Otherwise I think we would still be there, fighting with your next guests over squatter's rights....We loved it that much!. I just close my eyes now and think about the wonderful beach and sunsets. And watching the surf was just mesmerizing for me. The last couple of nights we spent the evenings on the beach, letting the kids play and watching the sun set. It was the best... And in the mornings we would take long walks up and down the beach and watch the day begin...That's the life... It's hard for me to believe that just a week ago we were enjoying your beautiful San Pancho home and now I am sitting in my cubicle at Wells Fargo writing marketing material for mutual funds...I want to go back! I'm so glad that Mia and I did so much research to find the perfect place. It paid off! Thanks again for everything,

Our trip was wonderful! We loved Casa Tranquilla - it was such a lovely place. The town was so charming, the food was great, and best of all was our beautiful accommodations at Casa Tranquilla. We would highly recommend any of the 3 units (Casa Tranquilla, Casa Lolita or the one directly on the beach). We already miss it! Best regards, Genoveva

Hi Jeff; We are back in the frozen north, which has thankfully thawed out to a considerable extent. Of course, we are still basking in the afterglow of our two week stay at Casa Tranquila, which we enjoyed immensely, thanks to your obvious talents as a host and builder. We have been vacationing in Mexico, in various locations, for over 20 years and Casa Tranquila has earned a spot at the top of the list.

Dear Jeff, Thank you so much for accommodating our family and friends. Your compound is more beautiful than anything we could have imagined. The two separate houses worked great for our two families and teenage girls and the location is the best in San Pancho with Costa Azul right next door for our little "resort fix". Your staff is wonderful, friendly, and great cooks too. We had a fabulous dinner with both families on our deck under a full moon, candle light, and swaying palm trees. WOW! We are definitely coming again in 2006. You've given me some excellent examples on hosting guests in our condo on Big Mountain. Thanks, The Riebe's from Montana

Looking for a vacation "away from it all?", this is the place. Beautiful beach, beautiful house. This is what Acapulco must have been like years ago. We (me with two teenagers) spent two weeks and loved every minute. The kids found a ton of things to do without fast food, MTV, and malls. The jungle is right up the road with panoramic ocean views. The town has all you'll need, good food places, markets, etc. Great pizza at Don Pedro's in sayulita. Dont miss dinner at Mark's in bucerias. After i send off this message I'm going to book my next vacation right here.

Dear Jeff, What a glorious piece of the world! Beyond paradise in a way - maybe closer. We were so busy with work and family that we decided to spend a week with close friends away from all the everday worries. It was beyond our every dream the most relaxing wonderful vacation any of us have ever had. Thank you for your beautiful Casa and for sharing it with us. It is truly a piece of paradise!

Jeff, I can't remember when I had such a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Your beach house is everything you said and more. Yeyo and Isabel are there to answer all your questions and help you find whatever you need. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable with more than enough room for two couples. The town of San Pancho is close and friendly. The beach and view are beautiful. Every night that plunge pool was the place to be with our margheritas to watch that colorful sunset while the horses ran on the beach. I can't wait to have the time off to visit Casa Tranquila again.
