Be one of the first to enjoy "Casa del Cielo," our beautiful newly built luxury condominium apartment overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, located on the hills of the award winning urbanization known as "Sitio de Calahonda."
Our apartment has been prepared to make your vacation truly luxurious and memorable: marble floors throughout; high end furnishings; fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, microwave, electric coffee maker, electric tea kettle, refrigerator, cooking hob, dishwasher; laundry room with washing machine; stereo CD player radio, satellite TV, DVD and a spectacular southern view of the Mediterranean Sea.
The master bedroom suite has a European king sized bed (American queen) and a large bathroom with double sinks, shower/bath, toilet and bidet ... all surrounded in marble! The second bedroom has two twin beds and is next to the guest bathroom with its walk-in shower, also surrounded in marble.
And wait until you see the expansive terrace with its fabulous view of the sea! Your party will want to sunbathe on our two lounge chairs or perhaps you'll enjoy meals and snacks at the table and four dining chairs.
Do you enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool? The adult and children's pool is right outside the front door of our building. If you prefer the beach, Cabopino Beach is nearby, or you can choose from any of the sparkling beaches lining the Costa del Sol.
We are in a gated community and you will have a space in our garage for your car. We do recommend that you rent a car, since it is essential for exploring the area.
Our apartment is professionally managed by our vacation rental professionals, who will be in contact with you after we receive your booking deposit. They will make sure you arrive to a spotlessly clean, well prepared vacation apartment and will be available to you 24 hours a day during your visit. In addition, for an extra fee, they offer a "meet and greet" service at the airport or the apartment and will show you how all the appliances and electronics work. They can provide you with other services that you might request, such as car rental, golf reservations, sightseeing excursions, midweek clean and linen change. If you have any special requests, please let us know and we'll be happy to give you information and prices.

The Costa del Sol has long been a favorite with visitors and we're no exception. We love Andalusia's history, people, cultural sights, beaches, tapas and wines. We chose our apartment's location because it's so close to the fascinating and historic cities of Malaga, Marbella, Sevilla, Granada and of course Gibraltar. The famous white villages of Mijas and Ronda are nearby and there are beautiful golf courses, nature trails and beaches in the vicinity. We also enjoy the local family attractions, such as the zoo, water park and marine park.

We're in a luxury gated apartment complex, with three swimming pools and close to a tennis club and many golf courses. Our local property manager offers a meet and greet service and is available to our guests 24/7, from the time the booking is confirmed until the day of departure. Calahonda is a quiet, lovely community, with beaches, restaurants, pubs, shopping and supermarkets minutes from our apartment. The terrace is large and offers a relaxing spot to enjoy meals, tapas, wine, music from our stereo and an unforgetable view of the sea. It's especially nice during the hot Andalusian summers, when the terrace is bathed in cool, refreshing breezes.

Hello and thank you for your interest in our apartment. We are Marcia and Mike and although we live in southern California, we love Spain, which has been our second home for many years. We are proud of our apartment and are eager to welcome guests and help them plan a perfect vacation. We've been married for 41 years, have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law, a two year old grandson and twin granddaughters born September 2009.

Yuri asked me to copy and paste this comment: "We had a marvelous time in Andalucia staying at the MacCormack’s condo. The condo was located in the ideal location to go to Malaga, Ronda, Mijas, Marbella, Gibraltar, Granada and Sevilla. It was very clean and had all the basic amenities we needed, including a washer. Also, with the security gate we felt very safe at all times. We would definitely stay at the MacCormacks condo again and recommend it to others visiting the area."

Drove to Seville, Nerja, Granada, Ronda and up and down the Costa Del Sol. We have had a wonderful vacation now walking our feet of in Madrid. Renting through VRBO has been a very positive experience. Marcia your Calohonda conda is very liveble with all the luxuries one could need, and on vacation a kitchen comes in handy. The restaurants in the area are close and good but Diane and I love a home cooked meal or a lazy day breakfast on the sunny patio, many good memories.
