BEAUTIFUL LAKESIDE POOL HOME IN FORT MYERS ON FLORIDA’S SOUTH WEST GULF COAST
Rest and relaxation assured in our beautiful lakeside home.
We bought our vacation home in October 2007 and have completely refurbished the villa into a comfortable and luxurious lakeside pool home. Our home is situated in Beachwalk Isles a quiet, select residential development in South Fort Myers, just minutes from Fort Myers Beach with the many attractions that the Gulf Coast has to offer. Comprising 2000 sq ft of air conditioned living space our home consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (sleeps up to 7), kitchen and 2 separate living rooms equipped for all your needs.
Stepping through the front entrance, you will be greeted with spacious rooms, comfortable contemporary furniture and furnishings, soaring high ceilings and modern décor. The first living area, is equipped for entertainment, featuring a regulation standard pool table, leather sofa and plasma cable TV, DVD player and iPod/MP3/USB docking station to complete the room's theme. This room leads onto the open plan kitchen at the heart of the home. Fully equipped and complete with breakfast bar which overlooks the dining area, main living room with large flat screen TV and DVD player, and ultimately, the screened pool area with its' spectacular lake views. Glass sliding doors take you to the oversized deck area with sparkling heated pool and loungers. There is outdoor seating for 6 so you can enjoy alfresco dining whilst overlooking the fountain lake. Lushly landscaped grounds provide a feeling of tranquility surround the screened lanai area.
The Master Bedroom comes complete with king size bed, large walk-in closet and private bathroom. High vaulted ceilings and plant shelves add to the space and tranquility of this room. A further 2 guest bedrooms feature a queen size bed and 2 twin beds respectively. The fourth guest bedroom has been furnished with a comfortable day bed and has the added option of being able to adjoin the master suite (so ideal for guests with a young child) or can be closed off for complete privacy for older guests. These bedrooms share a full bathroom.
The home is fully air conditioned with ceiling fans in all rooms. Cable televisions with over 70 channels are provided in the lounge, family room, and the 3 main bedrooms. There is a hairdryer in the master bathroom, sufficient towels (including pool towels), bed linen, cooking utensils, glasses and crockery etc. to cater for all your needs. Telephones are located in the kitchen, and master bedroom. Finally, our home is wireless internet enabled – so please bring your laptop.
Safety features include smoke detectors and fire extinguisher.
There is an extremely large triple garage with electrically operated doors. Our home has a fully approved rental license provided by the authorities in Florida. Our home is maintained and looked after by a local company that are on hand 24 hours a day.
Should you wish to explore further a field from our tropical oasis, Somerset Villa has the excellent benefit of being situated very close to the beaches of Fort Myers and the islands of Sanibel and Captiva which are around 4 miles away. Our villa is close to all shops, many golf courses and nature trails. The choice of restaurants is truly astounding.
With year round temperatures ranging from the mid 70s in the Winter to mid 90s in the Summer, Fort Myers offers year round pleasures to its visitors and residents.

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. Clean, well maintained, and in a lovely gated community. Plenty of linens, towels and the kitchen had everything you needed. We had use of 2 bicycles, pool toys and chairs for the beach which is only 10 mins drive away. A short drive to plenty of restaurants and shopping. We're booking for next year and I think that says it all.

Everything stated in the home owners description is truly an understatement - it is much better then this! We have had so much fun at your house and really enjoyed each and every minute! What a beautiful location, all amenities that have been there - even sun chairs and some beach stuff for our little ones. And we definitely can compare it while we have been at another location at Beachwalk before - but yours is truly the best. We will definitely come back!!!

We had a fabulous stay at Somerset Villa! Your home is clean, tastefully decorated, and welcoming. Our family and our hometown neighbors who were staying in a nearby home spent many wonderful hours in the pool and playing pool! Thank you for sharing your home. We stayed at this villa for 10 nights during July 1010. We have stayed in other villas in this area on a number of occasions and found this one to be the nicest by far. The villa and pool were both very clean and well maintained. Our 2 boys aged 11 and 17 loved having the pool table to use. Excellent location, just a short drive from lovely restaurants, beautiful beaches and great shopping. We would not hesitate to book this villa again or recommend it to family and friends (and we are very fussy!)
