Cozy 30 sq mt loft recently decorated with high quality furniture. Wood beams + cool atmosphere makes a extremely inviting place. There is a small balcony overlooking a pedestrian street in the heart of the Born district. El Born is the most fashionable area in Barcelona, and probably the most beautiful and quiet with the Gothic district.
Medieval streets, breathtaking palaces and museums: Picasso, Pre-Colombine and Costumes just at 3 minutes. Not mentioning a pleasant walk trough historical streets now hosting fashion shops, amazing wine stores with tasting areas, "bistrots" and Tapas bars and the best offer of gourmand restaurants in the city.
The Palau de la Musica, Les Rambles, Mercat de la Boqueria, Plaça Reial and the beach are at walking distance.

Why the Owner Chose Barcelona
I'm barcelonian and love my city. I've been living in the area for more than 10 years and I always had the feeling that walking around just to get some fruit or milk is like a daily present. There is a unique atmosphere in the old streets around. I've been managed this small studio for years. Hundreds of travelers from all over the world have been living here during all this time. The studio is redecorated every few years improving the interior, amenities and atmosphere. There is a guest book in the apartment and 100% of remarks are very good. This is a place made as if I went abroad I'd like to get something like that to live in.

The space itself is a very pleasant place to stay with all kind of amenities you could need.
At less than 2 minutes walking you can get:
-Sta Maria del Mar a Gothic Church of the XIV century
-Picasso Museum
-ÀBAC a one star Michelin restaurant
-Beautiful medieval streets with arty shops, cool fashion stores, a nice train station, a green park with museums and a Zoo
-Vila Viniteca: A wine store with more than 3000 spanish wines. Experts shop assistants.
-Colmado Vila A delicatessen food store (in front of the wine store)
-a long long beach with showers, bars, sailing activities (at 10 minutes walking)
To get here from the airport: Airport train to Sants Estaci�. Get off the train and wait on the same track to a train coming here to Estacio de Fran�a. The apartment is at walking distance. Easy.

We have stayed here for 5 wonderful weeks. The apartment is very cozy and full of nice details. Although in the hot of July at times we missed air conditioning. J.G. Iceland Not any more, I've just installed an air conditioning unit in the studio. The owner.
