This 3400 square foot home located in Galena Territory will accommodate up to 12 guests where you are sure to relax in style. Whatever you choose, this home is the perfect gathering spot for you.
In the summer you and your guests can relax on the screened in porch with a BBQ gas grill or enjoy a cool summer night in the deluxe hot tub. In winter, enjoy several outdoor activities including cross country or downhill skiing at nearby Chestnut Mountain, or simply cozy up to one of two gas fireplaces in the home.
Located in The Galena Territory is central to Lake Galena and the Marina, The Owner's Club, The General Store and Spike's Restaurant. It is 9 miles from downtown Galena.
Also located close by Shenandoah Riding Center, Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort, Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa and downtown Galena with many shopping and dining experiences.
No matter what the season enjoy the view overlooking The General Golf Course and the many luxuries of this home such as the fully outfitted gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room with seating for ten guests. Home has five bedrooms, two king and three queen, each with their own private bath. Also enjoy three flat screen televisions with satellite.

We loved the house... and it is even better in person than in the pictures! The pictures are good, but the house is amazing. It's a VERY nice property. It's in a great location and has so much space. We loved the screened in porch. The only cons is that the house is on a timer. So, if traveling with small children, you have to time it perfectly to the minute when you arrive. We did have issues with the hot water in the master shower, but none of the other bathrooms had a problem. The kitchen was amazing and the windows give so much natural light. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the Galena area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed this lovely house for the second year in a row with a group of 5 couples from nearby Rockford area. The accomodations are superb with comfy beds & gathering areas. The house is well maintained. We enjoyed the two gas fireplaces, 5 ensuite bathrooms and the great for cooking together kitchen. One bathroom on this cold weekend was very cold & the coffee pot was slow but otherwise, it was very satisfying.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We were very impressed with how spacious, cozy and clean the house is. We rented the house between 4 couples and everyone was comfortable in their rooms. We only had an issue with the spa outside but the owner was able to get someone right away to fix it. The ski resort was only about 15-20 minutes away and so was the Galena's business district which has lots of boutiques and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The home definitely exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do the place justice as it is much larger than what is shown, more specifically the kitchen. The home was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the isolated location is convenient to town but completely alone on its own court. The hot tub was hot when we arrived, a newer model, and held 6 comfortably. I would definitely recommend this home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a great house for a family or group get-together. The room arrangement is perfect for a large group. (We were 8 adults with 7 children.) The kitchen is a "cook's kitchen". It is thoughtfully supplied with all the necessities for making meals for a group and large enough that several cooks can work without interfering with one another. The house is situated next to the golf course, is very quiet, has many trails for taking long walks and very convenient to all that Galena Territory has to offer. Also appreciated was the fact that the house was very clean and well maintained, including the hot tub. Kudos to the owners.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our group of 11 adults enjoyed this property in early October. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed and there was plenty of social space. The place is nice and spacious, well maintained, and decorated. We came for a weekend of family get together and liked all we found in this home. We found the kitchen well equipped, the dining room large and beautiful, and everything else working and in good condition. The hot tub was well used although the weather was on the cool side. We also enjoyed the owners club and the pool. We didn't go out for meals but used the great kitchen and the outdoor grill. I would recommend the place and I certainly liked the service and friendliness of the management team.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed in your beautiful home for a long weekend with lifelong friends the end of September. We were all celebrating our 30th wedding anniversaries. 6 out of the 8 of us went to Grade School and High School together. Your home was perfect. We could all be together but yet had our own space as well. We all had our own bedrooms/bathrooms. The location was perfect for all.....some went running in the morning, some went for long walks, some sat in the hot tub and some just enjoyed the screened in porch. The scenery was beautiful !!! Downtown was close and you had everything we needed to cook our own meals at home as well. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!!! Your home made our anniversary celebration even more special !!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was great for our four couples who took the weekend to get away from our regular lives. The new owners club was put to great use and offers a number of amenites. We enjoyed the large dining room table and the decent kitchen, along with the main room with the fireplace both evenings. The bedrooms were decent, the master bedroom very nice with a great bathroom. It was a great house for us and hopefully we can do it again in the not so distant future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
