This contemporary, Zen-designed, two-bedroom apartment was featured in Decormag as: "A Perfect Urban Retreat."
Surrounded by windows, it is sure to provide its guests with a sense of freedom in the big city and a spectacular view of Montreal.
The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, sure to please the most discriminating gourmets... perfect for entertaining your guests. Downtown Montreal, large condominium 4 1/2 all furnished and equipped for rent. For short or long term. Ideal for professional.
The closest thing to a European neighborhood square you'll find this side of the Atlantic, Square St. Louis is nestled in Montreal's Latin Quarter near the university and the fashionably bohemian Plateau neighborhood. Indeed, singer and poet Leonard Cohen is rumored to own one of the picturesque townhouses that line either side of the long rectangular park.
A classic Victorian fountain is the centerpiece of the park, along with an old gazebo with a small selection of snacks. It is said to be favorite haunt of writers, painters and filmmakers seeking artistic inspiration, but on a sunny day everyone in the neighborhood seems to be there, making it a true town square. The major attraction are plentiful benches, where you can relax, meet your neighbors or just watch as the world passes by.
Near all events including Jazz Festival and Grand Prix activities. Located between the bistro's and boutiques of Saint Denis Street and the chic restaurants and nightlife of Saint Laurent Boulevard.

We just got back from four days in Montreal. We were two families: three adults and two sixteen year olds looking at McGill. We come from Boston and Princeton, and have rented many apartments and houses in the US and Europe. We appreciated the location on the square, the proximity to the Metro, the quiet neighborhood, the eat-off-the-floors cleanliness of the apartment, the owners' accessibility, easy parking (despite the confusing directions), good WIFI, good heat and amenities. This is kind of subjective, but we also appreciated the spare furnishings which made it so easy to unpack and pack. The place is HUGE, too. Here is a blog post I wrote about our weekend. Oh, and eat at Les Deux Gamins your first night. Great to just walk around the corner and chill out in the cozy atmosphere, with great service and food.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed here for a week and the owner was easy to work with. We even went to their restaurant which was very close and pretty good. You definitely can't beat the location for convenience, I am born and raised in Montreal and so I know that location was great, it's 1 block from the metro and right on St Denis street with all the boutiques. The only negative was that it could be noisy at night I could hear people on the streets despite the apt being on the 4th floor. My toddler is a light sleeper so it matters, otherwise I would definitely recommend this apt. It was clean and had everything we needed as well.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

You can't go wrong with this apartment. It's modern, well maintained, and centrally located. The owners are extremely easy to work with - everything can be handled via email and before your arrival they send a detailed document with all necessary instructions for using the apartment. The apartment amenities are exactly as promised (and, in fact, went beyond our expectations). Additionally, the surrounding neighborhood is full of interesting shops and restaurants and there is a metro stop a block from the apartment, giving you easy access to downtown Montreal and beyond. We loved our stay in Montreal and would recommend this property to others without hesitation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Rent this place if you want to park your car (or never rent one) and get around on foot, by bike, or metro. Montreal has one of the best bike shares of any city in the world, and there is a station right out front. You can buy a 24 hour bike rental block for about five Loonies. Montreal's system has won praise for the density of it's bike stations, and I can see why. You can bike to your destination, stow the bike at some other station, do your thing, and then come back out to that station to get another bike. No locks needed. The bikes are super-simple, three speed things with a built-in basket and lights. Getting around on foot is likewise easy and rewarding. The neighborhood is thick with both vacation fun (restaurants, ice cream, wine shop, random shopping), but also with necessities. We bought everything we needed - from emergency pharmacy stuff to groceries to cook meals - within walking distance of the apartment. The owners have a handy print-out of where to find what you need. We even walked to the old city easily. Metro is a block away, too and Montreal has a great system. The neighborhood is safe because it's full of people: in the square, riding bikes, eating at cafes. That makes for some great interactions. The apartment is quiet because it's on the back of the building, away from the square. We like to cook, so we really enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen, high end grill (seriously, for a rental?) and the outdoor deck. Drawbacks? We couldn't get the wireless working, but we were too busy having fun outside the apartment to care much or to put work into figuring it out, so it could be user-error. We were two couples sharing one set of keys, so we had to do some juggling when we split off. We also had to pay to park our cars in the garage by the metro. Street parking is reserved for residents during set hours, and some sides are closed for street cleaning, so instead of trying to figure out the system, we just paid for the garage. I guess you could see this as good news: the garage is just a block away. Anyhow, not a big deal, but something to consider if you are a car person and need it during your stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.
