  • Highly recommend!!! Would stay here again and much better than a pricey hotel

"From the beginning right to the day of departure evrything was excellent, well except that we had to leave. This place was a GREAT find! We arrived on a Saturday and Wendy met us right away, showed us where to park and even took us on a little tour of the neighborhood. We got a tour of the apartment and were told we could call and check out late if no one was coming in to stay the day we were leaving, that was appreciated. The apartment looks just like the pictures and the kitchen is well equipped. We were staying with our teenage son and he was happy to have his own room. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had great weather and were able to eat on the huge patio in the back and it felt very cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom was cool and quiet, which led to several good nights sleep (after all the walking). The deep tub in the bathroom was especially nice after a long walk round town. We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay here again. The location was very central with 2 metro stations close by and buses. Parking is a breeze and free (sometimes rare in Montréal). We left the car parked the entire stay and used public transportation which as mentioned is convenient and accessible. There are cute little shops/restaurants along Wellington walking to the de l`Eglise metro. Wendy does an excellent job at keeping her guests happy!!!! We will come back, maybe in the fall."

  • Nice studio, good location

"Stayed over a February weekend. The studio is conveniently located (walking distance to the Fine Arts Museum, not too far from McGill), comfortably furnished and with excellent heat (important in February, as we found out). The owner was a pleasure to deal with. The only drawback is lack of Internet access, but on the unexpected plus side there was relatively easy street parking and the pool & sauna were actually accessible (also good in February!). I hope to stay at this studio again, AZ"

  • Home away from home

"We had fantastic stay here over the Christmas holidays. The layout and overall space in the apartment was perfect for my boyfriend, his two young teenage sons, and me. Having the luxury of being able to claim our own spaces really made the week long stay a breeze. The amazing kitchen allowed me to cook elaborate Christmas eve and Christmas dinners with ease (and I wish I had as much cabinet space back home!). The dining room table seats 8 comfortably making entertaining guests easy, and we had plenty of room to spread out for a few marathon Monopoly games. As if the interior space wasn't enough, the location is so convenient! A block and a half from the Verdun metro station, downtown Montreal was only 10 to 15 minutes away. We had other relatives staying in a hotel in the Places des Arts, and they were able to hop right on the Metro to come hang out with us. We can't wait to book another stay :)"

  • great apartment in old town Montreal

"This apartment is beautiful, spacious and even though it is the basement of an historic building, the street windows are high enough to provide enough light. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable..the bed mattress is exquisite (almost as good as at the Queen Elizabeth - and they are THE best). The owner is helpful in providing local information (shopping, SAQ locations, Metro). Our only concerns were: We were looking forward to some quiet nights in front of the fire but the gas pilot was out/notworking and the owner never fixed this even after we mentioned it the first day. Also the radiant heater in the living room didn't work even after having it reset. Since my partner has issues with the cold, this made the room uncomfortable for her to sit in. Lastly, this may seem minor but, one of the reasons we rent through VRBO is to be able to prepare our own meals as we enjoy cooking and experiencing short-term living in different cities. Though the kitchen was fairly well equipped, the knives were completely dull. A resharpening would be in order. These issues probably wouldn't bother most people staying here and they only had an impact on certain aspects of our stay. Overall, the experience of staying in this apartment was positive."
