  • Great!

"Four of us stayed at the apartment and it was everything we needed for a week stay. The owners were great, very helpful and available for any questions or suggestions we had. The location was perfect to be able to get around the city without a car. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who's looking for a good deal, location and comfort. There isn't anything upscale about the apartment but it was very comfortable for our low key group. Thanks again!"

  • Everything you need in a vacation home for a visit to Montreal

"This apartment, in the Verdun area of Montreal, was a real gem. We have stayed in homes, condos, apartments and Time Shares all over the world; this was by far the best cleaned, equipped and supplied unit we have come across. Everything you need to be as comfortable as you are at home was there. Although at street level, there are 4 or 5 steps to access the doorway. The unit was very clean, like you would want your home to be before visitors come. On street parking within 50 feet of our door was always available. The owner was extremely helpful when we were making the decision to rent and answered our email questions quickly. While we never met him or his wife while we were there, a short three nights, email and phone number contact were readily available and I had every confidence that they would answer any questions and concerns that may come up. Protected WIFI with good band width to support multiple tablets, smart phones, and readers gave us great connectivity. While the location is outside the downtown area, it is less than 2 blocks of the Green Line Metro Station, which takes you downtown in less than 15 minutes. (The train is not accessible without going down long stairways but there are escalators going up.) Shops, eateries and groceries are a short walk away. We particularly like the "Restaurant Crescendo" 1 KM away, right on biking and walking paths along the St Lawrence River. We would strongly recommend this property to any one visiting Montreal for a short or long visit."

  • My family loved Montreal in Winter at this fabulous house

"We spent 4 lovely days in Montreal with this house as the perfect base. The house is beautiful, clean, and well-appointed for cooking. It is 2 blocks from Atwater Market, which has to be the nicest food market in Montreal. The neighborhood was perfect for my husband and 3 kids - there are coffee shops and restaurants. We were especially grateful for the parking space. I was slightly concerned that we would want to be more in the thick of things, but was totally wrong. The neighborhood - Southwest - is a hip, mixed French and English, super-fun location. The renters gave us great ideas for things to do downtown and close-by. We sledded and skated and even went rock-climbing in an old silo. We are hoping to return to this house in summer so we can take advantage of the proximity biking trails!"

  • Great Place, Great Host

"This place is the greatest place ever! There is no reason to stay in a hotel if you can stay here. A group of 8 made the 6 hour trip up to Montreal for a Bachelor party. Stephan was great and easy to deal with from the initial inquiry to where we checked in and out. This is a great place to hang out before heading downtown (which is only 10-15 min away). There is a ping pong table (great for Beirut), pool table, pinball machine and bubble hockey. Lots of sleeping options with the movable futons. The kitchen allowed us to buy some stuff at the local grocery and cook at the Loft. There is also a speaker for iPad which allowed us to listen to music. The terrace outside was nice for people to hang out or step out for a smoke. The neighborhood is on the quiet side so just be respectful and should not have any problem. As for bachelor party activities: Clubs - Recommend Chez Paree and Club SuperSexe. Group activity: G1Tour, driving a Lamborgini and Ferrari. Bars - Peel Pub (different daily specials on pitchers of Beer, Rum/Coke, etc). I hope to be back again and will definitely check to see if the Loft is available. Awesome time!!!"
