  • The Best

"We were 2 couples coming to Montreal for the World Masters Swim Championships. We couldn't have found a better place. Richard was more than helpful. He even toured us around the neighborhood to get us oriented. The apartment was sensational. It had everything you could need. We used the washer/dryer and that was very handy. The location was ideal for us because it's 5 minute walk to Beri UQAM metro which has connections all over Montreal. Richard left recommendations for restaurants (some to which you bring your own wine) a plus. We would add Coo Rouge up Amherst near Ontario. In summer the garden in the back was great. A less expensive place (though you don't bring your own wine). Inside is quite small; so maybe this is best for warmer weather. We also found that anything we needed was a short walk: restaurants; bakery; grocery and metro. All in all a wonderful place and Richard was the perfect host. We drove up. So Richard found us a place to park and leave the car ( for extra $). You definitely don't need a car here. The metro is very good. PS Food in Montreal is wonderful. Try the almond croissants!"

  • Excellent Location

"Had a group of 7 guys from the States up to Montreal for a 3-day trip. The apartment was as advertised. It was very clean, although we didn't plan on using the kitchen, a large refrigerator was nice to have. We purchased the optional parking spot too which was peace of mind. The location was fantastic – we could walk everywhere – Old Montreal, St-Laurent, Crescent, etc. so we saved a lot on cab fare. Wi-fi was also extremely helpful to have since most couldn't incur roaming charges, and the building was very quiet, with solid walls to hold in the sound. On a separate note, it couldn't have been more of a pleasure renting from the owner. We met her a few times over the weekend. Once by accident and the second time in response to an issue with our Wi-fi, which was resolved almost immediately. She also left a book of restaurants to try which they created themselves. We tried their first recommendation for brunch at L’Avenue which was one of the best brunches I’ve had in recent memory. Lastly, it was a HUGE bonus to not worry about towels, linens, shampoo and soap. There were at least 2 towels available per person and everything including the pillows and pillow cases were very clean upon arrival."

  • Wonderful stay in Montreal

"We can't say enough about our experience with the apartment and Jean-Pierre (the owner). The apartment was cosy, clean and very conveniently located to the metro. Upon our first entry to the apartment we were greeted with soft music and great mood lighting - quite romantic. Jean-Pierre was a wonderful host, full of information and recommendations. He also returned our deposit most promptly. One minor thing - if traveling by car, be aware that although there is free parking across the street (in a small parking lot), there is a $10 charge when there is an event occurring at the nearby Olympic Stadium. Our vehicle was almost towed since we did not know this in advance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again, recommending it to all our friends."

  • Could not ask for better!

"What a pleasurable place to stay. It has all the comforts from home and then some. It has been professionally decorated and is quite impressive. It is within walking distance of many great restaurants in the old section and only three to four blocks from the subway. Did not use our car at all during our stay. It is in a quiet section so you will enjoy a good night's sleep. The bedding and towels are of great quality and very comfortable. Cherie is very welcoming and will answer any questions that you have. We will certainly recommend this place to any of our friends visiting Montreal."
