In the northern part of the district 15 (arrondissement 15) close to district 7, this cozy (19m² ~210 square foot) apartment offers all components to make your stay in Paris enjoyable. It is located 38 rue de la Croix Nivert on the second floor(French standard) of a small inside building. It is very quiet.
The apartment was fully renovated in 2004, partly in 2008. It is furnished in modern style. It accommodates a very comfortable sofa bed which can be converted in a comfortable bed (140cm x 190 cm).Cable LCD TV , DVD and CD players, Internet Wifi access are available.
The open and separate kitchen with a window is fitted with all necessary amenities such as fridge, hotplates, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster.
For those interesed, an iron is available.
The washing room has a shower, a wash basin, a hair dryer and a WC.
The apartment is well located in a busy street with all kind of shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets.Rue du Commerce is at a short walking distance. The neighborhood is friendly and cosmopolitan. It takes a few minutes to walk to first metro stations "Emile Zola" or “Cambronne” (200 m away). The metro station “La Motte Picquet –Grenelle” with three lines is a little bit further.
Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Invalides, Orsay Museum are well known tourist places which are within a walking distance. The visit of Paris by boat on the Seine river is an unique and worthwhile trip.
The Champs Elysées with the luxury shops, restaurants is also a well on the known place for the night life.
UNESCO is at a walking distance.
Palais des Expositions at Porte de Versailles is easily reached with a direct bus.

Good location, and a bargain

I spent two weeks in this apartment. It is small, but adequate. The sofa bed is large with a thick mattress. Kitchen counter space is limited and don't expect to cook large meals (no oven). Shower can be a tight squeeze. Windows face a courtyard and nightime noise with windows open is negligible. Location is good; within a 10 minute walk of Ecole Militaire and the Champ de Mars. Nearby metro station has 3 lines, one to Etoile, one to Latin Quarter and one traveling North in between. Amazingly convenient. I would certainly consider it for my next trip.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

This studio apartment was wonderful, just as advertised. The location allowed us to go anywhere within the city by foot or by Metro within an hour at the most. Great courtyard setting, many nearby restaurants, bakers, etc. Would love to go back.
