In the enchanting gardens of Honua Lani, you are invited to relax and absorb the pristine qualities of tropical living! For your comfort, we offer a very private and cozy guest house on the valley ridge of our garden estate. It is perfect for nature lovers!
This cottage boasts magnificent ocean and garden views from the decks, which span three sides of the house. You can watch the sun rising out of the ocean right from you dining table! This is a romantic, honeymoon hideaway!
This home offers 650 square feet of living space, and is beautifully furnished with tropical and Hawaiian decor. The kitchen offers a full-size refrigerator, a stove, oven, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, a blender, coffee maker, and purified water, among other amenities.
The living area has a private phone line, cable TV, a VCR/DVD player, CD stereo, high-speed wireless internet access, and a Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar CD collection. There is a roomy bathroom with a full-size tub, and a dining area.
There is a large bedroom with a king-size bed and one, very large, loft bedroom with a queen-size bed. The home comfortably sleeps four people, and can even accommodate two more on the living room futon couch (families only). The home is very cool and comfortable with ceiling fans and portable air conditioning, along with refreshing ocean breezes!
The guest house overlooks a tropical garden full of fruit trees, avocado trees, and flowers scenting the air and soothing the senses. Many of our guests talk about the many birds they see and hear singing in the morning!
There is a private drive entrance, and a private entrance to the cottage. Additional amenities include a laundry facility and a gas barbecue. A sauna house (dry or steam) is located by the main house.
When you arrive, we will provide you with tropical flowers, and a welcome basket of fresh fruit from our organic gardens, and Hawaiian goodies!
We are in an agriculture subdivision, so you can count on peaceful and quiet relaxation. We are centrally located on Kauai, so you will minimize travel time on your day trips across the island. Also, we are conveniently located behind the Kapaa by-passes, so you avoid the late-afternoon traffic. We are minutes from all the beaches along Kapaa, as well as great restaurants, shopping, luaus, and many great spots.
We offer our guests a tour of our permaculture estate - showing them all the interesting fruit trees and vegetation we grow, and how we go about growing a lot of our own food year round.
We supply our guests with an in-house guidance map and booklet to all the very best places to visit, things to do, and restaurants on Kauai. And we usually sit down with our guests for personal guidance and tips. The unit is also stocked with reading materials on Kauai, including hikes around the island.
Often our guests take a sauna and get a fabulous Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage from Jai! Victor is a hike guide and brings some of our guests to remote and secluded special spots on Kauai. For anyone interested, one of our neighbors offers yoga classes three times a week.
We provide all kinds of beach gear like snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella, etc. If you want to swim with turtles, we will direct you to the best spots!
