We were at Bristlecone for the Thankgiving holiday. We had two sons, their wives, and two grandchildren with us. The house is absolutely beautiful the views are amazing. The main kitchen is huge and a great place to fix big meals. There was all the firewood needed and we kept the huge fireplace going most of the evenings. We saw a lot of wildlife driving to the house and near the house. Overall, it was an extremely comfortable and relaxing place to spend our 4 nights. Ed, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. We are definitley looking forward to staying at Bristlecone again, next time in the summer so we can hike the trails around the property.

Bride – two thumbs ups – loved it! Groom – sometimes you do things just because they are funny. Great time, gorgeous weather, good food & great people. Enjoyed hiking, grilling, catching up and even some dancing! Dancing was during sampling of “Scottish Scotch from Scotland” After many great times and infinite laughs, discovery of the “song-bird or our generation” and enjoyment of wildlife, we celebrated the wedding. The clan gathered for their annual Christmas/New Year’s gathering for an old fashioned mountain holiday. We enjoyed your beautiful home that allowed us all to stay and play in the same home. As always, we enjoyed our family time. The beautiful snow allowed us to sled and enjoy good old fun time together. Thank you for opening your home up to us. We traveled from E. Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma to be together here in your peaceful place.

This place was amazing for having a wedding at. The pictures were unbelievably beautiful. The owner and caretaker were very helpful and accommodating. I would absolutely book this place again. We had a fantastic week at Bristlecone Ridge Ranch!

Our family chose this magnificent home as a get away surprise for my father's 60th birthday and let me tell you we couldn't have made a better choice! The home is beautiful and the views are spectacular. There were 14 in our party and there was plenty of room for all. When we arrived there was about 6 inches of snow on the ground. We had a great time sledding while taking in the breathtaking scenery. I look forward to returning to Bristlecone and appreciate Ed sharing his home and allowing us to make fond memories there!

Wonderful time and great start to a new year. Property as protrayed, was clean and ready for occupancy, caretaker was professional and helpful. Sledding, card playing, enjoying the fireplace or staring out the window at the incredible views, enjoying the jet tub...I'm not sure how we could have taken more pleasure while there or better memories home.

We arrived at this gorgeous home right before Christmas and honestly we couldn't have chosen a better place to get away for the holidays. We were four families with a total of 16 ppl (8 adults and 8 kids) and let me say that we felt as if we could have fit another 10 ppl easy in this spacious home. The kids loved the loft area and enjoyed navigating throughout the home. It was a perfect home for a good game of hide n seek! The wonderful scenery is so breath-taking, words can't do it justice! There was not one day on the ranch that we did not wake up with a smile on our faces because it was just to beautiful not to! We had a lovely dusting of snow on Christmas day which made for an awesome time playing out in the snow for all of us! We took a nice walk around the property and enjoyed each and every direction. The horses were a nice addition and the kids loved seeing them! The caretaker, Stephen, was an amazing man. So helpful and friendly! Ed, thanks again for sharing your home with our families! We all look forward to returning during another season to take in more of the surroundings! Your home was certainly a wonderful vacation spot that we will love to return to! Warm regards, Kate and Ram Sathappan and friends!

Hey Ed, Let me start by saying Thank You!! I don't think that our wedding day could have been any better. Everything was pretty much perfect. It is a spectacular home with a gorgeous view making a perfect backdrop!! Think you'll be getting a few calls about renting out the house in the future, everyone couldn't stop saying how beautiful it was. I know we definitely want to come back in the future, possibly for an anniversary!! Thank you all for everything you did to help make our day the best! The grass where we got married was so nice, also the plants and planters on the patio, just those little details really complements the natural beauty that is all around! You and Stephen were very kind and thoughtful in making our day special, and that is much appreciated!!

Where to begin! I am sitting here alone on our last morning watching the sun rise and the beauty come to life, with a cup of coffee, of course. Thank you for allowing us this time at your own little slice of heaven. We have rested our bodies and refreshed our souls with the wonderment of nature and the ability to completely lose track of time our here. It will be in our hearts until we can come again. Thank you so very much.
