Our family stayed at the house in early Aug. We had a great time! The area is wonderful. We spent the days hiking and enjoying the outdoors and the evenings around the fire. The house is nice and had everything we needed. The computer and internet access was a great feature. You'll enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.

We just fell in love with the scenic beauty of Wolf Laurel and this lodge. It was great to arrive to such a clean and well presented place. The owners were a delight to deal with and we would definitely return. I loved the open feel of living and dining with the bedrooms tucked away. And who can complain about a great fireplace. ThanksRecommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

I recently rented a cabin in the mountains of Asheville, NC. This was such a great experience. The cabin was very family friendly and had wonderful amenities. I would highly recommend this for a family vacation or a get away for a couple. It is very close to nature and our family enjoyed it immensely. I will be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Thank you for a great trip! The house is great, the kitchen is well equipped, and firewood is cut and ready to go. We came up in October for a girls weekend and had a great time. The hike to the Appalachian trail was beautiful, it is about 4 1/2 miles round trip from the front door of the house. The wine is a great touch and much appreciated. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a great time at Hampton Gap Lodge and the hosts were extremely helpful and accomodating. The area has great history and the mountains are unbelieveably beautiful and healing. The computer and internet were a great addition. We were able to visit the Biltemore easily and attend a play at Mars Hill College which was a last minute but great addition to our trip. I would certainly recommend Hampton Gap Lodge.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful hospitality, computer, movies, great kitchen and others. The kids loved fishing, caught and ate 6 rainbow trout. Playground was a big hit too. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks - it was great! Faye BishopDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Five of my friends and myself spent the weekend here. We arrived to a wonderful cabin in the woods, complete with Christmas lights outside, a Christmas tree, and a light dusting of snow. It was the perfect getaway before the rush of the holiday season. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the supply of board games and cards. Thanks for making this a memorable weekend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I just wanted to thank Chase for allowing my family the oppurtunity to spent one of the best Holidays together we have had in a long time. The cabin has great energy and there was plenty of room and supplies that had every moment feeling like home. When I arrived there was a bottle of wine waiting for me and I did not waste anytime opening it and starting my vacation.( very good wine by the way!) later that evening my family arrived and we all celebrated our reunion. My family and I spent most of our time out doors around the firepit that was supplied with plenty of firewood. We spent one of days hiking the nearby community trail that lead to the Appalachain Trail that had many views of distant mountains. Thanks to the fact that the cabin was pet friendly my dog Ellie was able to enjoy the time with us, she too had a wonderful time hiking. The cabin was also supplied with a radio/Cd player and on Thanksgiving day was used to have a dance off that involved everyone showing off their best dance moves. After cooking a wonderful Thanksgiving meal the kids spent time watching movies on the many Tv's throughout the cabin and the adults outside by the fire. I would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away with a loved one, group or family gathering. Thank you Chase. I wish you much success.
