SUMMER SPECIAL....STAY FRIDAY TO FRIDAY AND GET 2 NIGHTS FREE!....Here's how it works....Any non-holiday time....Check in on a Friday, stay 7 nights, Check out on Friday. Pay $200 per night x 5 = $1,000, 2 nights at no charge + $100 cleaning fee + 10% room tax of $110 = $1210 total rental cost. There is also a $250 refundable damage deposit. We do accept credit cards. For this Friday to Friday special, the reservation must be paid in full at time of booking.
Located in Alpine Meadows, just 4 miles from Tahoe City, this is a perfect condominium for 1 or 2 families. It's nicely decorated with new carpeting, furnishings, mattresses, and accessories. Conveniently located so you're close to everything...minutes from Tahoe City & the north shore of Lake Tahoe. A short walk to the Truckee River where you can bike, fish, swim and raft. Minutes from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Squaw Valley USA which has activities year round. Relax after a hard day of playing in our private hot tub with a great view of the mountains and the stars. There's even a small pool table in the garage.
One bedroom has a log bunkbed with queen bottom and twin top (plus a pullout twin on the floor), the other 2 bedrooms each have an Olympic Queen Mattress set. Large kitchen with 4 stool breakfast counter plus a dining table with 6 chairs. The living room has a leather sectional plus TV with VCR and DVD with cable, plus a stereo. Great views of the mountains and stars from the deck and hot tub. The private hot tub on the deck is brand new and holds five adults after a day on the ski slopes and the kids are in bed. Living Room has a pellet stove and leather sectional.
If this one's booked...our family also owns two other 3 bedroom condos and two 4 bedroom cabins...all located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Ask us for our website that has pictures for all of these units along with separate availability calendars.
In the summertime...there's a great outdoor swimming pool that is open in the summer and is never crowded. We're really close to the bike trail that runs along the Truckee River...bike all the way into Tahoe City. There will be great rafting this summer on the Truckee...rent rafts in Tahoe City and where you take out is within 100 yards of the condo! Really great hikes in the area...You'll be glad you stayed here!
In the wintertime...we're close to all your favorite ski resorts. We're minutes away from the slopes of Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. The Alpine Meadows shuttle picks up near our unit. We're close to Hwy 89 so getting on shuttles to other resorts is easy too.
The first floor of our condo is a garage that we've converted to a game room with a small pool table. It also has a new front loading washer and dryer. All of the stairs to our condo are inside, so you don't have a problem with snow on the stairs.
Within walking distance of our condo...The River Ranch, a great lodge with restaurant and bar. Across the street is The Crest Deli & Catering...open for breakfast and lunch and they'll even make you a picnic lunch to go.
Bed configuration: MASTER BEDROOM: 1-Olympic Queen Mattress Set plus a full size futon sofa in another area of master bedroom. BUNK BED ROOM: Bunk Bed with Twin XL on top, Queen on bottom plus an extra twin mattress under bunk bed that can be pulled out onto the floor. 3RD BEDROOM: Olympic Queen Mattress Set. We provide linens for every bed (except the futon & the mattress under the bunk bed).

Located in Alpine Meadows off of Highway 89 between Truckee and Tahoe City. From Hwy 89, turn onto Alpine Meadows Road, cross the Truckee River and you're there! A short walk to The River Ranch Lodge for a nice meal that you don't have to drive to. Minutes from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Squaw Valley. Outdoor Pool in Summer plus a short walk/ride to the Bike Trail.
My wife and I purchased this condo in Jan '05 and spent most of 2005 remodeling it. We welcomed our first guest Dec. 17th, 2005. Here's some comments from guests who have stayed at our condo:

- Great Restaurants Close By...Walking Distance to River Ranch for Dining & Cocktails and The Crest Deli is across the street. Bike Riding: There's a great paved Bike Path that follows the Truckee River with minimal elevation change so it's an easy ride for all ages. You can rent Bikes at Tahoe Daves in Squaw Valley (just a few minutes away). River Rafting: The Truckee River is within 100 yards of our condo. The raft take out spot is within walking distance and you can hop on shuttle buses to get you to the start of the raft trip. The Truckee River is pretty tame and a trip down the river takes an enjoyable 3 hours. Hiking: There's lots of Great Trails to explore with varying degrees of difficulty. Tram Rides: Squaw Valley operates their tram year round and there's all kinds of activities available.

Why the Owner Chose Alpine Meadows
Lake Tahoe is the perfect vacation destination with great year round recreation. The north shore of Lake Tahoe is nice because it is less crowded than south shore and we really enjoy getting on the bikes & riding into Tahoe City & along the West shore of Lake Tahoe.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
There's a new year-round hot tub on our deck with a great view of the stars and the Sierras. The summertime pool in the complex is seldom crowded. The complex also has a nice grass area & basketball court. The River Ranch is a short walk for great dining & drinks or stop by the deli across the street for breakfast & lunch overlooking the river. Great hikes, biking, rafting all a short distance from our condo.

The location of this condo cannot be beat. If you're skiing at Alpine, you are only minutes from the slopes. The gourmet deli across the street is an added bonus. We loved your cozy condominium and hope to return soon. Thank you!

My family and I stayed here over Christmas, and had a wonderful time. The ski rental was right across the street, making things very convenient. Eight of us fit comfortably, though seven is probably the ideal number. The entire rental process for this condo went very smoothly. Thanks very much!

We stayed over the July 4th week 2006 and just want to say that it was very comfortable for me and my family. We loved the comfortable bedrooms, and the views were beautiful. My kids loved the pool and us adults loved the hot tub and views!

What beautiful surroundings! The condo was well equipped with everything we could need, including towels and linens. Great layout and very spacious as well! Beautifully decorated, and the view of the mountains from the hot tub was breathtaking. Only wish we could have stayed longer than the weekend! Thank you for a relaxing vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends!

Thanks for checking out our guestbook. My wife & I purchased the condo 01-05 and spent almost a year remodeling. Our kids have a great time playing here and are always sad when we leave. We welcomed our first VRBO guest on 12-17-05 and everyone so far has enjoyed their stay!
