Steve & Michelle, Your little "pink house" was the perfect long weekend place to stay for us. Our friends live just a mile or so away so was very convenient. The house was clean and charming. The coffee shop next door and the fish cafe next to that was great. We ate there late the first night, great fish tacos and the coffee house was great to just roll out of bed and have right there! Everything was as described and was very convenient to downtown. We would highly recommend to all, thanks again. The Jones' from SeattleRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for the great review! Our guests find the Corbett House a great place for a Portland experience that's very close to Downtown, but with a more comfortable, neighborhood-y feel. We hope you come back soon! Steve and Michelle

Corbett House is perfect place for a visit to Portland. It's location is ideal...close enough to downtown to take public transit, yet in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. It's the prefect size for a group or family (up to four people) with two full bedroom. The decor is friendly and welcoming and the kitchen has everything needed. The deck is just the right size, complete with bbq. A great place to stay and a great bargain!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for the thoughtful review! It seems you enjoyed the house for the very reasons we chose it as our home a number of years ago. We hope you'll be able to come stay again! Steve and Michelle

The Corbett House was the perfect place to stay while visiting family in the area. We really enjoyed the local restaurants within walking distance and the river walk just a block away. The property is very comfortable with all the amenities and set in a lovely quiet neighborhood. I would love to stay here in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Corbett House. It was immaculately clean and well-stocked. Great back yard and deck for relaxing. The neighborhood around the cottage is a quiet residential neighborhood, but it has coffee shops (next door) and restaurants you can walk to. We found it very convenient to all the sites we wanted to see during our stay. This house is a very cozy place to relax rather than being packed into a hotel room. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Portland.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

The Corbett House was the perfect place for us. This was our first trip to Portland and we had no idea what to expect and did not know the area. We put our faith in the traveler reviews and in Steve and Michelle, as the owners. We were not disappointed at all. Actually, it more than met our expectations. So very comfortable and so well stocked with everything you would need. Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. etc. The linens and towels were wonderful and the master bed very comfortable. It served our needs so well. The location was great. So close to so many things you could walk to. And Zupans.....what a great supermarket!! The owners were so wonderful to work with before, during and after our visit. Steve was so helpful and so patient in answering my many questions before arriving. Very hospitable! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone. We felt it was a very good value. You get so much more here than you would at a hotel of the same price. And whatever you do, don't miss VOODOO DOUGHNUTS!! It was definitely a Portland highlight and tasty experience. Also Henry's Tavern downtown near Powell's bookstore was a great restaurant. We had a wonderful Portland stay and will return next year. Thank you Steve and Michelle! We had a wonderful time in the Corbett cottage and we certainly hope to stay here again the next time we visit Portland. The deck was the perfect place to have coffee first thing in the morning and allow ourselves to slowly wakeup! We loved the easy access from the kitchen and from the master bedroom. The backyard was so lovely and inviting that the traffic noise just melted away into the background. The location was perfect for us to visit family and to hop on McAdam and drive downtown. We highly recommend the Corbett Fish Market, Cafe Duberry's and the little Italian place a few blocks away, Porcelli's (I think that was the name). We also loved the merchandise at The Real Mother Goose and highly recommend it. Thanks for letting us stay here. BobRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks, Bob and Sue! We're so glad you enjoyed the house. Porcelli's is correct, and the restaurant nearby is the Corbett Fish House. Come back and stay again soon! Steve & Michelle

Our stay in your Portland home was wonderful. The location is just so convenient not to mention the coffee shop and restaurant next door. We enjoyed sitting on your deck looking out over the lush backyard. The overall accommodations such as the bedding, kitchen supplies and comfortable furniture made us feel like we were living in our own home. Thank you for providing us with the Corbett House during our week vacation in Portland.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

What a great place to stay while in Portland! This has been our second stay, this time for almost 2 weeks, and we have been so comfortable here- the yard has been particularly lovely this time, with all the trees and plants sprouting and blooming for the spring!
