Bienvenido a The Dickerson Cottage. Esta casa está ubicada en la hermosa isla de Jekyll, Ga. La casa cuenta con tres dormitorios y dos baños completos. La casa está rodeada de grandes robles viejos y tiene un patio trasero cercado para aquellos de ustedes que deseen traer una mascota pequeña. Esta casa cuenta con acceso a una piscina comunitaria y se encuentra a pocos pasos de las hermosas playas de la isla Jekyll. Hay mucho que hacer en la isla Jekyll. Recorridos por el distrito histórico, cruceros al atardecer, paseos en bicicleta, golf, tenis, caza de conchas, visitas turísticas, putt putt, salir a cenar o simplemente sentarse en la playa disfrutando de las vistas del hermoso Océano Atlántico. The host was very accommodating and replied to our message promptly. The house had a couple of minor issues but we worked around them because it was just my husband, myself and our two small dogs.

Perfect spot for our family and pup. Loved the location and the fenced in back yard was awesome. We rented a golf cart for the week so it made things much easier for getting around and traveling around the Island. I would recommend bring a few extra pillows but other than that we had the best vacation. We will definitely be back next year!

Perfect Jekyll Home

This was the most perfect Jekyll home for our week away. Close to the beach- just a short walk to the crossovers and on the most beautiful, quiet street. The backyard is amazing- fully fenced and backs up to the woods. Our dogs had the best time playing together in the yard and chasing the squirrels and lizards around. We never worried- the fence was secure and at a great height. The inside of the house was clean, well laid out, and comfortable. Being able to use the garage was a bonus so we could store our bikes we rented for the week. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and we would highly recommend this home to visitors to the island. It was absolutely wonderful and we appreciate you sharing your home with us and our dogs. THANK YOU!

Great location and stay

Great property and perfect for a group. It was very clean. Just make sure you bring anything and everything you need it’s a clean slate without any coffee filters, soaps, only 1 dishwasher pod and no spices. It wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know beforehand.

Lovely

Lovely home just a few streets from the beach! Huge shaded back yard that our dog loves! Plenty of room to relax, play, games, read. Always a pleasure to stay at Dickerson Cottage!

Family Vacation

We had a great time, place was clean and plenty pot and utensils, no problem cooking , just like we are staying in my owned house. In future we love to go back again. Thank you for providing everything we needed.

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Loved our afternoon visits with family of deer. Only downfall was quality of pillows on beds. Pack your own!

Great after 1st day

After a couple of a few hiccups we experienced when we first arrived we really enjoyed the house. When we first got there we were told to use a different key but we looked for it and never found the key. Second was an inaccurate bathroom description on the website. The original description said one of the bathrooms had a bathtub which was great considering we had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and she would need it for bath time. But there was no bath. When I asked I was told the description didn’t say there was a bathtub. Luckily I took a snapshot where it said there was a bathtub before they deleted that from the website description. So that really irritated me because of the trying to make it look like I was crazy or something. So to me that dropped their rating down. Other than that we enjoyed the house itself. It was clean. It was in a great spot. The linens on the beds were not those cheap white ones that never stay on the beds. The backyard was fenced in which was great for our little dog. So the. House itself gets a 10/10.

Peaceful cottage!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and peaceful cottage! It was very convenient to ride our bikes to all local establishments as well as the beach! Yard is always full of deer for your viewing pleasure!

Great Place to stay

We liked the layout of the house. The fenced yard was a plus for our little dog. The neighborhood was quiet with a lot of deer roaming around. We will definitely try to stay here when we visit Jekyll Island again.

Perfect location!

Two minute drive to the beach and you could bike right from the driveway to connect with bike path. House has doggie doors to help enclose dog. Huge yard which our dog loved. Very comfortable beds too! Definitely recommend and we plan to come again.

Relaxing

This was a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. We loved watching the deer on the other side of the backyard fence. The house and furnishings were all very clean... everything we needed for our stay.We would love to return to the Dickerson Cottage on our next visit to Jekyll Island.

Very nice roomy home on a quiet street Kitchen was well supplied with everything needed Beds and bedding were great The furniture in the TV room could use an update Overall we were very happy with this rental and would go back to Jekyll Island anytime

Had a good stay. Had trouble with getting a key to get in the house. Mattresses are old and need replaced. Otherwise it was a great visit. Love the fenced in backyard and the garage. Allowed us to keep our bikes locked up securely.

Peace and Quiet

We take a winter holiday every year, and for three of the recent years, we've stayed at this property. It's a two mile walk to the Millionaire's Village and the Wharf Restaurant, which is always a treat. In the other direction, it is less than mile to nice walks on the beach. I started going to Jekyll as a child in 1966. While there are some changes, gone is the Buccaneer, and the Corsair has a new look but just as curved, and the 1960s strip shopping center and indoor swimming pool has made way for the big hotel and the convention center, mostly it is still the island of Horton and Bignon.

Stay at Jekyll

The over all stay was really great. I think they property manager needs to check behind the cleaning crew. The floors in the bathrooms could have been cleaned a lot better and sweeping under the furniture needs to be done. The house is in a great location and having the fenced backyard was a big plus. Bring a roll of toilet paper just in case because they do not give you a roll even thought there was only half a roll in the bathroom. They also need to leave a trash bag in the kitchen trash since they want you take the trash out, I had to go buy trash bags and toilet paper. Besides these little things it was a great house. We will be staying again.

The house was clean and comfortable. The property management company quickly responded to questions. This house sits on a quiet street within walking distance to the beech. The kitchen could be better stocked for cooking-there was no full set of measuring spoons, no wine/bottle opener…etc. Otherwise, the house was ‘as advertised’ and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Pet friendly cottage

We've stayed here several times with our two dogs and brought our 11-month old baby this year, and we have loved every time. This home is at a great location with a great fenced in yard with all the amenities you'd want for any length of stay on the island at any time of year.

Great backyard!

This property was perfect for a week at the beach for our family of 6 plus 2 friends and our dog. Clean and easy to find, a great garage “staging area” for beach chairs, etc. Great, easy access to the bike paths. Fantastic quiet, neighborhood shaded with many live oaks. So glad it was available!

Property was in great shape. Like the garage to keep out beach stuff in without having to put it in the backyard or house. The host answered our questions promptly. Property manager was ontop of sny issue or questions. Cottage was located in a great neighborhood. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting a quiet nice place to stay. Its a five star for me and family.
