Fabulous location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property across the street from the water and just a few steps to the main walking street of Santa Marina. The property is well maintained, tastefully decorated and Beatrice is a delightful host.

Fantastic stay

Beatrice is an exemplary hostess and her house is perfect - directly opposite and 2 minutes from the sea. There were gifts of food and prosecco and much thought had clearly gone into hosting guests as there were pods for the coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine so we wanted for nothing. Santa Marina has some great restaurants, a fish shop and a butcher as well as a mini market and fruit and vegetable shops so also perfect for self catering. Beatrice was very communicative before before and during our stay. We loved it

Amazing island and amazing accommodation!

The property was of a very high standard and exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our visit to Salina. Beatrice could not have been more helpful in the planning and during our trip. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured everything went smoothly. Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to meet with Beatrice but her lovely mother was there to welcome us.

Fantastic spot in Salina .. the best !

We had a lovely week in Salina at Beatrice’s house. Great location right on the water with beautiful swimming off the sea wall right in front of the house. Close to lovely restaurants.. shops and local bakery. Beatrice made us feel so welcome at her home with cake and wine for us when we arrived. She helped us arrange a day trip on a beautiful wooden boat with Elio. Thank you for a memorable stay we look forward to returning. Heidi and Matthew

Santa Marina Salina

We had a lovely stay and Beatrice was the most exceptional host and helped us so much when our travel plans changed and she went out of her way. Her English is fantastic. Lovely unexpected treats awaited us on arrival. She had arranged a friendly local girl to make sure we knew everything we needed to know about the house. The only thing was that the house really has one main bathroom & a powder room & outdoor shower (undercover)

Merci à Beatrice pour sa gentillesse et sa grande disponibilité. Maison très élégante, la décoration est particulièrement soignée, ce qui est rare dans une location. Literie très confortable, très belle terrasse, emplacement idéal (accès facile aux bateaux et aux bus de l'île, commerces et restaurants à deux pas).

Posizione eccezionale... sul mare.. nel centro.. Casa curatissima! Dopo pochi minuti .. ti senti a “casa”... A volte pensi..”esco... o rimango qui???”... accogliente, fresca... e talmente attrezzata.. che sono riuscita ad organizzare una cena per 9 persone in meno di 2 ore... insomma perfetta! Beatrice e la mamma... non ci sono parole per descriverle... siamo stati accolti con una torta .. acqua e vino in frigo! E... sempre pronte a darti un consiglio... ❤️... l’unico problema... è il dolore che si prova quando si va via... unico pensiero..:”quando tornerò?”...

Secon stay in Paradise

Paul and I have been coming to Salina biannually over the past 6 years and this was our second stay in Villa Maria. This amazing apartment is the reason why we will always stay here when we return to Salina. It is immaculately clean, very comfortable and beautifully furnished with all the conveniences of home. The delightful owner who we keep in contact is continually maintaining and improving the property so that every time we return there are little surprises. The front terrace is perfect for evening apperitivo and dinner. The Aeolian style architecture, exterior breeze curtains and ceiling fans are very effective in shading and cooling the apartment. This garden apartment would also suit a couple with 2 small children as it is easy to cook, wash clothes and is very secure and safe. The view through the landscaped garden is breath taking as the beach is only a few footsteps across the road. As the apartment on on the beachfront and parallel to the main street, it is within walking distance to the Santa Marina village shops, restaurants and wharf. The owner and her family are a extremely friendly, communicative and helpful couple who greet us upon arrival and give us advise about places to visit. Paul and I recommend this property highly.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Salina nella prima settimana di agosto e l'appartamento di Beatrice è stata una bella sorpresa! Arredato con gusto e attenzione si trova in una posizione perfetta perché fronte mare e attaccato al centro di Marina di Salina. Le due camere matrimoniali sono dotate di aria condizionata e gli spazi comuni ben organizzati. A Salina sarà il nostro punto di riferimento. 👍🏻

A settimana su Salina

Noi siamo stato a Villa Maria Terzita, Santa Marina, Salina per una settimana felice in Settembre. L'appartamento era pulito, la cucina aveva tutto quello che ci serviva. C'erano due camere, una con doppio letto e una con due letti. L'appartamento era vicina al mare e noi potevamo vedere Lipari, Panarea e Stromboli. Le noi visitavamo per tragghetto. C'erano ristoranti non troppo cari li vicini specialmente La Trattoria Cucinotta, e un ristorante excellente, Signum a Malfa. Il proprietario, che abita in Padua ci ha dato il nome di qualcuna che a mostravarci come cucinare un piatto tipico eolico. Lei parla inglesse. Lei e la madre di la proprietario ci incontriamo al porto. Da quando siamo tornati in Australia abbiamo gia' rifatto questo piatto due volte. Consiglio vivamente villa maria Terezita

une belle escale au coeur des îles Eoliennes

Nous avions la partie rez-de-chaussée pour la villa : très confortable pour 4 personnes, à quelques mètres de la mer et à 3 mn de tout (cafés, restaurants, shopping). Belle vue sur Lipari. Bref pour le farniente c'est idéal. En plus, Salina est à découvrir : Pollara, Malfa, Rinella, etc. Best Award pour la mamma de Béatrice.

Immaculate villa on the Salina sea front

We had a wonderful time at Beatrice's villa. It is well appointed and immaculately clean. Beatrice and Maria were extremely helpful and keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible - and it was. Salina is a great base to explore these stunning Islands. Would highly recommend this gorgeous villa on the sea front and just a hop and a skip from the charming shops and eateries of Santa Marina. Wonderful Villa!

We loved Villa Maria (ground floor)! The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk from Santa Maria Salina and the shops. We also loved the island too. It was our favorite place during our 2 week trip to Sicily. The villa is across the street from the water and very peaceful and quiet. There is lovely covered patio, very clean and charming rooms and a small, but well equipped kitchen. We would highly recommend Villa Maria! Beatrice is very friendly, helpful and easy to contact, though we were sad not to be able to meet her in person.

INSELTRAUM

Die Anreise aus der Schweiz dauerte schon einige Stunden. Flug nach Catania – Taxis bis Milazzo und dann mit dem Schnellboot in den Hafen von Santa Marina. Der Fussmarsch mit den Rollkoffern dauerte nur einige Minuten und entspannte unsere Glieder zunehmend. Nun standen wir da, vor “unserer Villa”, die für eine Woche unser Zuhause werden sollte und ja – es gelang der Villa auf Anhieb unser Zuhause zu werden. Da war der wunderschöne Garten mit der enormen Blumenpracht. Die unterste Wohnung, die wir beleben durften, hatte einen Vorhof, der zu einem grossen weiteren Zimmer wurde. Im Schatten den Blick auf das Meer geniessen – was will man/frau mehr. Wirklich, das Meer ist nur 20 Schritte entfernt. Neugierig betraten wir unsere Wohnung, was wird sie mit uns machen? Sie hat uns liebevoll empfangen, die Wohnung; eingericht zweckmässig und persönlich, ebenso, wie wenn man bei Bekannten zu Gast ist. Sorgfältig eingerichtet. Eine tolle Küche, ausgestattet mit allem, was man zum Kochen braucht – und in dieser Frage bin ich kritisch. Die Küche hat den Test mit vorzüglich bestanden, es fehlt an Nichts. Und erst der Kühlschrank. Wir trafen ihn gefüllt an, ja wirklich. Da war der Prosecco kaltgestellt und der Weisse war gekühlt, der Rote auf dem Tisch und die Pizza bereit um in den Ofen geschoben zu werden. Eine Freude dieser Empfang und nach einigen Stunden war klar, diese Wohnung werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder mieten. Die 2 Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und selbst geplagte Rücken schätzen die Qualität der Betten. Die Nasszellen haben genügend Frottéewäsche, duftend eben wie nur italienische Wäsche duften kann. Im Wohnraum fühlten wir uns sofort wohl, das mag wohl an den vielen liebevollen Details liegen, die persönlich Bibliothek, in der ich eine Publikation aus meinem Fachgebiet vorfand und das Licht, das zum Lesen einlädt. Nur Etwas habe ich bis zum Schluss nicht richtig gecheckt. Wie, um Gottes Willen, bedient man nur die vielen Lichtschalter. Es sind deren viele und es ist mir selten gelungen auf Anhieb das gewünschte Licht herbei zu zaubern. Ja, es war Zauber und so bekam ich Lust, das Geheimnis zu lüften. Es sei vorweggenommen: Es ist mir nicht geglückt und deshalb gehe ich dieses Jahr wieder.

A beautiful pearl!

A beautiful apartment which is extremely well kept by the owners and perfectly situated in Santa Marina in Salina. 30 meters for a quick dip in the beautiful ocean straight in front of the house or a 5 minutes walk to a beach with sun chairs, bar, restaurant and a smaller play ground in the shadow for the younger ones. 2 minutes walk to several grocery shops which also will bring your bags to the house if you don't want to carry heavy bags in the sun! 1 minute away from the main shopping street and the promenade along the seaside into the piazza of Santa Marina is straight in front of the house. 10 minutes walk to the piazza. Several delicious restaurants in the village, 5 minutes walk to the nearest rental of boats if you want to go to the beautiful islands around as well or just get your own lagoon to swim in for the day! Salina is also perfectly situated amongst the other vulcanic islands so easy to access them as well. We're coming back!!!

Dream Holiday

We were so impressed with this villa we cannot recommended enough, having rented other properties in other locations around the world and often be let down for one reason or the other, this house is so manicured and the owners are so caring and welcoming you wouldn't want to leave ever! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Salina especially because of the choice we made to stay at Villa Maria Terzita.

A lovely and peaceful place

We love the Eolian Islands. Especially we love Salina, and the Villa Maria Terezia is one of the main reasons. It is spacious, it has style, the interior and exterior work is of high quality and the interor and exterior design is great. There are only a few steps into the sea and a very short walk to nice restaurants, shops and the harbor. It is also quiet. We have been there 2 times and already have planned the next visit in 2015. Una splendida vacanza!

E' stato un soggiorno veramente fantastico. L'appartamento, oltre ad essere perfettamente attrezzato, è arredato con gran gusto e cura dei particolari. La posizione è comoda e abbastanza tranquilla e la vista dalla terrazza è splendida. I proprietari sono stati di un'ospitalità squisita ed hanno fatto in modo da renderci la vacanza veramente indimenticabile..che dire....cercherremo di replicare l'esperienza!
