Exceptional Tuscan Rental, Highly Recommend!

You get rentals set up to make money & those where the property is a one off that the owner has lived in. This is very much the latter & renovated with beautiful taste.Finding it was easy: The green door, left of “Locanda del Gallo”restaurant.First impression: WOW. The porch has a breathtaking view of the valley. You then go through secure doors which lead to big beautiful authentic renovated rooms. A studio, 2 double beds, a kitchen, dining table & lounge. Views: stunning from all rooms but especially the porch & kitchen.Bedrooms: large, high ceilings, comfortable, tastefully furnished & with a great mattresses. Slept well throughout. Would also say the linens etc are good quality.Kitchen: my favourite room in the house. Double aspect with breathtaking views. An expensive kitchen, Really really well equipped. (There was a normal kettle, loose tea kettle, coffee maker & an induction expresso coffee maker. WOW).Lounge: huge room big tv and very comfortable. Again high standard of tasteful decoration.Bathrooms: 2. Small but well equipped & tastefully set up.Other things: WiFi was good, local restaurants & shops are in walking distance. Parking was a bit tricky but you get used to it.An added bonus was Laura the host. I found her the best ever host I have had on VRBO. She had a suggestion to ever need, including finding a neighbour to take one of our group to Pisa airport. I hope to visit again one day. Many thanks to Laura for making it special

Beautiful Tuscany villa

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Tuscany. What a beautiful place! We loved the quiet peacefulness and the house was perfect for 15 of us. During the daytime you can use the perfect pool or take a sunbath on sun loungers. Great location to visit Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca & Sienna. The hosts Daniela & Danielle were amazing and nothing was a problem. Highly recommended! Thank you :)))

Delightful Tuscan Hideaway

What a delightful spot in the Tuscan countryside. Secluded but not remote. The hillside town of Chianni only 5 minutes away. The Villa is beautifully restored to a very high standard and sits comfortably on large plot with vineyards and olive groves. Inside the villa has been tastefully decorated and the well appointed kitchen has all you need to cook tasty pasta dishes from the local ingredients . The air-conditioned interior including the bedrooms guarantees comfortable night sleep whatever the weather. Outside there is a covered porch with a large dining table where we ate everyday ,making use of there wood fired barbecue on number of occasions ,sipping tuscan wine till late into the night . The pool close to the villa has easy access down a series of steps and has views across the Tuscan hills towards Lajatico and Volterra. Supermarkets are only 20 minutes away . Conad at La Capannina and Coop at Peccioli are both well stocked but you can get bread and basics from the shops in Chianni. There are many restaurants within 30 Minutes of the villa. We visited the "Bocelli Cantina" at La Sterza and "Il Due Lago" for great pizza and pasta . We also had a great evening in Lajatico at "Da Nello" and a lovely meal at "Locanda Di Gallo" in Chianni. We were met by our host Giacomo and his father Carlo. They are most welcoming and very responsive to queries and needs. Thank you Carlo for the verdura and vino, belissimo. A lovely spot for a peaceful getaway

We had just under a week in which we wanted a mixture of pool side relaxing and short drives to explore villages and beaches and this was pretty perfect for that. The surroundings to the property are beautiful, lush green olive groves and fruit orchards. The pool is a lovely size, well maintained and a great temperature for the hot summer days. The apartment we were given was slightly different to the advertised generic pictures on the site but this didn't bother us too much as we spent most of our time outside anyway and it wasn't that different, just the view was missing which was a shame. The beds were very comfortable. There were some basics in the kitchen but we had to buy oil so best to check what's there with the hosts before doing a shop on your way. Lots of pans etc so cooking was easy and Franco gifted us a couple of home made bottles of wine which was very kind of them. There are lots of near by villages within 1.5 hrs, including our favourites, San Gimignano and Volterra as well as half hour from Pisa (and it's airport). The hosts were very friendly and helpful and always keen to give advice if you need it. Overall, a positive stay in a very beautiful location. :)
