Georgia's Home is located in the small village of Montelopio in the heart of the Pisan hills.
Montelopio features a cosy little shop and bar /bruschetteria and it is just round the corner from Georgia's Home. Experience the perfect place to unwind at the infinity pool and the hot tub surrounded by breathtaking views of the tuscan countryside providing everything necessary for a day of pampering.
Its large park, 2 hectares wide, with olive and fruit trees will ensure you a stay of total privacy and tranquility.
The two floors of the villa, each of 100 square meters, are equipped with all the needed facilities and will guarantee you comfort and relax. It has 4 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and 2 singles. Its position is strategic for those who love the Italian art and the beauty of the landscape and architecture of Tuscany . It is situated almost in the centre (about 45 min) from the famous cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca. The property is locaded 50 minutes from Pisa Airport and 80 minutes from Florence Airport. (https://www.easyjet.com )
However , you can spend wonderful moments just sitting in a chair in the patio, drinking a cup of coffee or sipping a glass of wine , watching the park and the surrounding hills , dotted with small and charming villages of Tuscany. Just 8 km away is the village of Peccioli , with shops, supermarkets, bars , restaurants but no less fascinating than Montelopio.
We prepare the most delicious dinners for our guests at the villa with freshly home made tuscan specialities! A real treat!
Less than 10 minutes away is one of the most fascinating and largest (27 holes) golf courses in Italy named Castelfalfi where a 10% off on the green fee will be applied for those staying at Georgia's Home.
You will also have the chance to learn and practice the Italian language here at the home on request, where georgia will be delighted to do it.
Most importantly, Montelopio is only 10 minutes away from Lajatico, home town of the famous tenor Andrea Bocelli, where every year, around July-August, he holds his fabulous concerts with international stars from all over the world!

Very amazing place. Clean rooms, we had two dogs with us aswell. Georgia took great care of us. When we had any question she answered very fast, she helped us with some trips and also the olive oil experience and the evening meal they are offering was excellent. Highly recommended. Located in a quiet town with great places not too far away

A great Tuscan countryside location

My wife and I spent a few days here, as we moved between Florence and the riviera region. The countryside and views from the home are stunning, and it is well situated to visit many of Tuscany's offerings. We greatly enjoyed the dinner option prepared by Georgia and Renzo, which was a collection of Tuscan dishes. The home is well equipped, and even has some local wines and olive oils available. With a cafe a short walk down the street, and Peccioli within a few minutes drive, it was a nice break to feel like we fit in to the local life for a few days.

A Place Like Home

Three girlfriends and I stayed here for 9 nights in early October 2016. The pictures really do not do it justice. The house was beautiful and very roomy with a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. There were four bedrooms and two bathrooms which was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools and plates and wine glasses we could need and we enjoyed making several meals at the house with local ingredients. We also enjoyed several happy hours (when we weren't gallavanting around Tuscany) on the patio in back which was delightful and roomy with a gorgeous view. We received wonderful recommendations from the homeowner for both restaurants and towns to visit and they were exactly spot on. The owners live on the property and although they gave us our privacy, they asked us to let them know if we needed anything and were always quick to respond. As another reviewer noted, DO take them up on the home-cooked meal. It was absolutely fabulous and what a treat to taste some of the local Tuscan fare. Also leave room in your bag to take back some homemade jams, olive oil and local wine. Unfortunately I didn't have the room so I guess that's one more reason to go back (as if I needed one). This home comes highly recommended by someone who can't wait to go back!

Dream holiday in Tuscany

We (married german couple, 53 years) spent eleven days in this beautiful house in the heart of Tuscany in May 2017. The weather was good with us, the sun was shining every day at a temperature between 22 and last 30 degrees. The house is stylishly and comfortably furnished and is located very quiet in an elevated position. It is really very spacious and offers enough space for two families. My brother and his wife had visited us and were especially happy about the second bathroom. Our day always started with an extensive breakfast on the wonderful terrace overlooking the own olive grove. Almost every day we were able to observe the hoopoe, a beautiful bird, which is very rare not only in Germany. One morning we saw in the garden directly in front of our terrace even a deer graze. With her loving nature, Georgia has won our heart immediately. She speaks perfect English and gave us many helpful tips when it came to excursion destinations or restaurant visits. The small village of Montelopio is centrally located, from here the most important cities of Tuscany are easily reached, for example San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Lucca, Pisa or Livorno on the coast. The most beautiful thing for us was the Tuscan landscape itself, which starts right outside the front door. Here you can really say "the way is the goal". You can go shopping well in the 8 km distant town Peccioli, among other things there is a large "coop" market. In the evening we always sat in the super-cozy lounge furniture on the terrace where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets with a glass of wine. The highlight of our holiday, however, was the candlelight dinner, which Georgia offers to her guests as an option and which is prepared by her husband Renzo. As a vegetarian, it is not easy on holiday, especially in Southern Europe. So we were amazed when Renzo gave us a refined vegetarian four-course menu with a total of six different dishes. What can I say - it was the tastiest thing we have ever eaten! The dishes were tastefully matched and also a real eye-catcher. For dinner we drank excellent regional wine, which can be purchased at Georgia. We will never forget this wonderful evening in this cozy atmosphere at sunset! Thanks again, Georgia and Renzo! Unfortunately, this fantastic holiday was eventually over. The beautiful, gentle hilly landscape of Tuscany with its many medieval towns has really captivated us. We will definitely come back :-)

A perfect place to stay in Tuscany

My friend and I had a delightful stay at Georgia’s home. Her house was spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped. She was most helpful with any questions we had. She made reservations for us at 3 wonderful restaurants that she recommended. I hope to see her again in the near future.

Erholsame und ruhige Ferien abseits des hektischen Alltags

Splendida!

Una casa bellissima oltre che molto pulita. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e molto discreti , pronti ad accontentare ogni richiesta e sempre attenti al benessere di chi trascorre le vacanze in questa dimora favolosa, con una grande attenzione alla sicurezza anche in questo periodo condizionato dal coronavirus Covid 19 ( e non è da poco! ) . Loro abitano una parte della villa , ma non si avverte la loro presenza che anzi è molto utile ogni volta che si ha bisogno di un’informazione o altro. La casa è spettacolare , spaziosa , comoda e funzionale con un bellissimo enorme giardino ricco di ulivi che è stata una benedizione per noi cittadini che abbiamo trascorso mesi chiusi in un appartamento a causa del lock down. Da questo mare di ulivi poi si scorge un panorama con tramonti che ti rimettono in pace col mondo . Anche tre delle quattro camere si affacciano su questo panorama. La particolarità è che pur essendo una casa di campagna con un grande spazio privato prospiciente , non è isolata del tutto ma si trova in un piccolissimo borgo di origine templare che ancora in parte mantiene il suo carattere storico . A montelopio c’è anche un bar/ alimentari / bruschetteria dove fare la spesa o prendere un aperitivo o cenare . Poco distante , raggiungibile anche a piedi o in bici , c’è il paese “ Fabbrica”( che si scorge ancge dalla casa, con altri negozi per la spesa e a Peccioli , breve distanza in auto, c’è una Coop e anche una gelateria che ha una stracciatella favolosa , proprio affacciata sulla bella piazza triangolare dominata dal campanile che ne caratterizza lo Sky Line . E poi ci son un sacco di bellissimi ristoranti che noi non abbiamo potuto provare per ragioni personali , anche se ci avrebbe fatto molto piacere , così come ci sarebbe piaciuto molto assaggiare una cena preparata dal padrone di casa che è chef e offre anche questo servizio a domicilio. La casa è in una posizione comoda per tantissime città d’arre ( Volterra , San Gimignano, Certaldo alta , Pisa , Firenze , Lucca, e spostandosi un po’ di più Siena , Montepulciano, Pienza) , ma anche i paesi più piccoli è meno noti nei dintorni , sono molto interessanti ( Lajatico, Peccioli, montefoscoli ...). Anche il mare non è distante ed ha saputo accontentare pure mio marito che è sardo ( noi siamo stati sugli scogli a sud di Livorno ). Una vacanza stupenda e rigenerante . Grazie di tutto !

Relaxing get away with kids

Georgia and Renzo are absolutely wonderful hosts to this beautiful home. The bedrooms were perfect for our family of 3 adults and 3 small children. Our kids loved having a big backyard to play in between our outings to nearby towns like San Gimignano (and there is also a little playground right up the road). We arranged for dinner at the house and Renzo and Georgia made us delicious things to eat. It can be difficult to travel with small children but staying here was relaxing and carefree. Thank you, Georgia!

A Place to relax for those of us with two legs and a place to play for those of us with four paws.

We were just two people with two dogs. The house has plenty of room and would have easily accommodated eight persons. The kitchen is very well equipped.The terrace is a wonderful place to sit and look out over the olive trees. Everything was very clean. Georgia was on hand when we needed to ask a question. We had no problems as everything worked. The countryside is beautiful, with many hilltop villages to explore. Plenty of walks nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely house in a charming, small village. The view from the garden is so beautiful! Georgia and Renzo are very kind and helpful. They live in a separate part of the house so they are always there in case you would need them. They served us a delicious meal the evening of our arrival! We had a very nice stay here as a family with 4 kids, there is enough space for everyone. I would definitely recommend this place. A warm thank you to Georgia and Renzo!

Georgia & Renzo were very attentive owners.

We were a group of 3 couples travelling from Toronto Canada. We toured all of Italy with our last stay with Georgia & Renzo. Our check in date was our 41st Anniversary so we asked Georgia if she could prepare a meal for 6. Renzo is a great Chef and prepared a meal fit for a King. Our 4 days at “So Calm” we’re both relaxing and busy. There was ample room to relax and enjoy some of the local wines from the Tuscany area both inside and out. We lucked out on the weather so we enjoyed the fabulous sunsets (and the wine) while relaxing outdoors. Georgia was very helpful with places to visit and Renzo supplying the directions. All in all our stay was very memorable and we will deffinately recommend this home.

Beautiful Villa, wonderful hosts

We spent a spectacular week in Tuscany at a Villa that was spacious, extremely well appointed, and included a beautiful and relaxing outdoor sitting and dining area. Our party of six adults included our Italian cousins who live in the quiet city of Lavagna about two hours north. We had stayed with them for a week exploring north east Italy before traveling to Georgia’s Villa. All of us were excited as we drove through the hills of Tuscany looking forward to a last week together. When we arrived our excitement built as we were greeted by Georgia and her husband. They took us through a tour of their house and property. The appointments and furniture blended with the style of a farm house that had been completely updated to offer the perfect blend of modern comfort and Italian hospitality. That evening we enjoyed a meal that Renzo the Chef (Georgia’s husband) had prepared for us. It was so delicious that we decided on another meal later in our stay. Each morning Georgia would drop by and help us plan our day trips in Tuscany. She listened to what we would like to do, made suggestions, gave accurate directions and travel times, and called ahead to make reservations. She is not only fluent in English, her accent is a pleasure to the ear. We enjoyed the comfortable bedrooms that had plenty of room for all of our luggage and electrical outlets to charge our many devices. We cooked in the kitchen and found that it had everything you will need to make your own Italian dinner or just a pot of coffee American style. The indoor family room and dining area are both very comfortable, but we elected to eat and relax outdoors on the covered patio. The patio area included a dining room table for eight and a comfortable sitting area to relax, drink wine and watch the beautiful Tuscan sunsets overlooking the grove of olive trees. Whether we had traveled to Florence or Volterra the relaxing patio was there, offering the perfect place to recount our day. This was the perfect week at the perfect Villa with the perfect hosts. A Fantastic Week in Tuscany!

We could not have picked a better place to call home during our Tuscan adventure. Georgia and Renzo were the perfect hosts. Our most memorable and delicious meals were the two that we spent on their patio enjoying fantastic local fare prepared by the very talented Renzo! The Tuscan sunsets over the olive grove can’t be beat. The location in the quaint and friendly village of Montelopio provided easy acecss to all of our daily adventures in the countryside. We were 2 couples celbrating my wife’s 50th birthday and we could not have asked for a better spot. Thank you Georgia and Renzo for a great week!!

Superb House and Superb Hospitality

The house is located around 45 minutes from Pisa airport, the drive is very pleasant and the house is easy to find. The house is very spacious inside, very clean and charming. It accommodated my family easily, this included 5 adults and a young child. Georgia was great from the very beginning, nothing was too much for her and she provided a number of excellent recommendations for things to do across Tuscany, including places to visit, restaurants and wine tasting. She and her husband also provided a lovely meal for us on the day of our arrival. I urge you take her up on this offer along with the recommendations, I can't speak highly enough of these. Our stay overall was superb and within a week we managed to visit some great places in Tuscany all within a short drive, including Florence. Everyone was thoroughly entertained including my young son. Thank you Georgia for such a wonderful stay!

Wonderful home away from home!

I would definitely recommend this quaint, comfortable and spacious home for your Tuscan vacation. Georgia and her husband couldn't have been more accommodating and sweet. I would also highly suggest letting them cook you an authentic home cooked Tuscan meal. We did it twice on our four night stay and would have done it every night if it wasn't for our daily excursions, lol. Absolutely wonderful!

Traumhaftes Haus in der Toskana

Georgia's Haus war wie ein Traum, in einem typischen Landhaus in der Toskana mit weitem Blick in die Landschaft den Urlaub zu verbringen. Die Lage mitten im Olivengarten und der Blick auf die Hügel der Toskana und den Sonnenuntergang - zauberhaft. Viel Platz, liebevoll und komfortabel eingerichtetes Haus, sehr freundliche aufmerksame Gastgeber, viele Tipps für Ausflüge auch abseits touristischer Hotspots, schnelle Reaktion auf Fragen. Montelopio liegt etwas abgelegen auf einem Hügel, dafür aber sehr ruhig und alles gut erreichbar. Hier ist der Weg z.B nach Volterra oder San Gimignano schon das Ziel. Das leckere toskanische 4-Gänge-Menü war der krönende Abschluss unserer Urlaubstage. Nicht zu vergessen das leckere eigene Olivenöl und der leckere Wein aus der Region. Wir kommen gern wieder. Lieben Dank an Georgia und Renzo.

A beautiful place to unwind

The house is beautifully located on top of a mountain with a view over the valley, the owners have there own Olive garden and that's just in front of you. Sitting in front of the house in a lounge chair with a good glass of wine and overlooking the garden en valley, it will only take you a few minutes to forget about work, stress and so on. The patio outside only has sun at the very end of the day, so refreshing if it gets to hot. If you want to sit in the sun you can place your chair at the side of the house. The house has a bbq outside you can use, nice if you don't want to drive to a restaurant at night. The house itself is well maintained and has everything you need, with a big living room with satellite TV and nice couches, it's comfortable to sit inside on a rainy day. The kitchen is large and well equipped. There is no bathroom / toilet downstairs. The main bedroom is huge with it's own dressing, the beds very comfy. All the bedrooms are nice and you have two bathrooms, handy if you are with a bigger family. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Georgia herself has lived in England for a long time so speaks perfect English. They live in a house attached but very much respect your privacy. If you need any help with anything, Georgia will respond right away. The village of Montelopio consists of 1 street, there is a bar/tabacco and that's about it. There is a small village just 2 miles away where you can buy meat and bread and down the mountain in Peccioli (about 8,5 km) there is a big COOP supermarket. Montelopio is very well situated to go on day trips, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra and Livorno are all reached in 1-1,5 hours. The surroundings where you drive are so beautiful that the trip itself makes it worthwhile. Remember that you will drive a lot in the mountains, but the roads are all well maintained. So if you look for peace and quiet and a good base to go on trips in the heart of Tuscany, this house is a very good choice.

Parfait

Nous avons séjourné une semaine début avril chez Georgia et son mari. La maison est très bien située pour visiter les villes phares de la région et la campagne toscane. Maison propre, de beaux espaces, cuisine très très bien équipée et une terrasse de rêve. L' endroit est très calme. Idéal pour se reposer. L' accueil est parfait par Georgia et son mari, qui peut vous concocter un repas toscan délicieux sur commande. Les tartes sont délicieuses, notamment celle au potiron. Nous avons eu besoin d'un peu de chauffage le matin et le soir, payant ainsi qu' internet au delà d' une certaine consommation. Bref très bonne semaine chez Georgia qui fait tout pour que vous passiez un agréable séjour.

superbes vacances

une semaine en Toscane pleinement réussie. Nous avons pu visiter les villes typiques de la Toscane qui se trouve toute à environ 45 minutes de cette très belle villa. nous étions 7, de belles chambres, un espace de vie très grand et surtout une terrasse très conviviale avec une très belle vue. Georgia fait tout pour que l'on se sente bien. je recommande vivement, et si nous retournons en Toscane nous reviendrons volontiers dans ce gite. merci pour tout. (nous voudrions la recette de ses bonnes tartes)

Amazing villa in excellent location to explore tuscany

We stayed here with my wifes parents and our daughter for one week. The villa is in excellent shape, rooms are well-sized and everything is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Garden is huge and offers an amazing view of the area. Georgia cares about her guests and helped us with all our questions. Would recommend to book the dinner she offers to her guests, it was very delicious. Please skip lunch, it is a lot :-) I would definitely recommend this villa to my friends!

This is the ideal place to spend a great holiday, surrounded by nature and hospitable people who live in this unique hamlet. You will really feel like being at home, with all the comforts you need.
