The Banana Wind is a beach lover's paradise. Located on a private white sand beach, you can sip your morning coffee on the deck and watch the sunrise or have an island drink and watch the sunset over the ocean. The bay that this island home is located on has plentiful coral reefs and snorkeling is amazing. You will see rays, parrot fish, blue tangs, snapper, lobster, octopus and much more. The kitchen is a brand new granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The caretaker of this property is a Bahamian fishing captain who can provide whatever seafood you desire, or book a charter with him and he can take you on his boat and you can fill your cooler for the trip home. Kayaks are available for exploring the reef and the nearby creek which is great for bone fishing. Bikes are also available which are nice for an morning ride. Local restaurants are only minutes away if you would like to eat out or order take out. The Banana Wind is a place to get away from it all! This is a place you will want to return to every year.

Romantic Getaway in a stunning setting
My Husband and I heard about this though a friend who told us we would not be disappointed, and she was absolutely right!!!!!!
Upon arrival were were overcome with the stunning scenery, unspoiled white beaches, sapphire blue oceans.
And then we arrived at the house, a charming bungalow set in a private cove with its own beach, palm trees holding a rather magnificent reign as they swayed gently in the warm breeze.
And the night sky with an amazing display of stars that we could not take our eyes off, was a perfect backdrop for a bonfire on the beach...
The fresh seafood was also amazing, we didn't know lobsters could be that big, almost 3 feet long with freshly caught grouper were supplied by the caretaker/fisherman Reynold..
